《Necromancy Domination》Chapter 6 — Humans are Humans.

Leon was looking around the settlement; mainly the largest hut, which supposedly belonged to the leader of the Orcs. Every Hut was gross by itself, with human remains and other creatures as accessories and decoration but the leader's hut takes the cake.
It was painted red, obviously blood. There were rotting intestines circling the top and one table was filled with skulls. There were skulls that were used as a candle holder and there were bones used for God knows what. However, there was one thing that stood out from the rest, a bracelet that was weirdly clean. It was shining in a room full of filth, and in the middle of the bracelet was a red jewel.
"An item?"
Leon wore it around his left-hand and he felt weird; he felt stronger. He opened his status for the second time to check what was going on.

Leon realized there was a [plus five] on his strength; it must've been the bracelet. He leveled up two times and he didn't even knew it. It looks like this kind of system doesn't bother telling you what you achieved.
"Thank God it doesn't have to. Imagine in the middle of a battle and a screen pops up in your face."
Leon seemed to leveled both of his skills, which means his understanding of the Way of The Sword has now leveled up. The Necromancy, however; he has still difficulty on understanding on the nature of Necromancy. Yes, it resurrects the dead but is that all there is?

"There is one I noticed tho."
Earlier in the fight with the Orcs, Leon saw one of the sparrows gets crushed from one of the Orc's attacks but looking at the numbers; no sparrows died.
"So that means."
A sparrow came out from his body and landed on the hand that Leon opened. He took the dagger from his scabbard and with a simple slice through the neck; the head came falling down to the ground. In just seconds, the head turned to ash and the sparrow was still standing, like nothing happened. Little by little, a muscular-tissue like substance came out from the wound and formed into a head.
The sparrow was healed to the very speck of his injuries and with that; it returned to normal.
"It regenerates, and it's really fast too."
With this discovery, Leon can have new strategies in the future for him to use.
"But they should be back by now."
"Kwaaaah!"
Sparrows returned from the sky as they returned to Leon's body. The visions of the sparrows gave out a location the Orc's was trying to hide; and it must be were the remaining humans are.
Those sparrows was the birds that followed the human earlier from the fight with the Orcs. Leon was using counter measures if those monsters would ever find out someone was trying to find their hidden stashes of human flesh but Leon was simply over-thinking. However, it would be a good Flanking Strategy in the future.
"Let's go, shall we?"
Leon found the location, which looked like a cave. There was no one guarding it; which seemed strange so Leon ordered the sparrows to navigate the cave. While laying his guard down; he heard the leaves make a sound as someone with a knife was flying into him.

"What the—!"
Leon covered his face with his hands; closing his eyes in the process. Leon realized that after covering it in a certain amount of time; the bandit that jumped to him didn't touch him at all.
Leon opened his eyes to see the human he resurrected holding the bandit by the head. The bandit was struggling to get out as he smashed the undead in his fist as the undead crushed his head with his bare hands; causing guts and blood to spurt all over.
"You know, I should name you something... Like Agris."
Leon muttered as he was amazed by the vanguard Agris just executed; he never forgot the first command that Leon said while he was still at town. To kill if an intruder was to be of threat.
"You deserve that name."
Leon said as he looked at the bandit-looking human. Now, Leon was suspicious; if these bandits cooperated with Orcs to capture woman. Maybe for slavery.
The sparrows came back from the cave to Leon's body; giving Leon an exact visual map on the cave. Leon was angry as he found Humans and Orcs hanging down as the townspeople was in a jail or cage of some sort. His blood lust seemed to have peeked.
"Agris, massacre those fuckers."
Leon said in a calm tone. He bowed his head as he bit his lips; just to stay sane before his anger controls him. He couldn't think that humans would kill humans just for their own greed but thinking in the previous world. It was all the same. Leon thought he was transported in an another world but in reality; he's just in the same world but with different rules.
In just a matter of minutes, Leon heard the shouts of Orcs and the screams of the bandits. Leon; in this time, lost his forgiveness for humanity. He always hated this kind of people and hated humans has which is called being human. Why does human have to be so human? Why can't they be like other creatures that follows the rules of nature? Why do they have to be so greedy.
Yet, Leon smiled.
"But ain't I the same?"

This is not my first book (that honor belongs to The Flock by Chris Sauter- available on Amazon). This is hopefully going to become my second book, the first of a planned LITRPG trilogy. This is a labor of love, dedicated to my absolute obsession with the LITRPG genre that has held me in its grasp for over 3 years. There will be dark situations that perhaps only adults should read including: slavery, violence and the results of war. There will be no harems, little profanity, but possibly some triggers for people who don’t like torture, violence, and other dark stuff.
