《Making magic, Forging fame.》The path away.

The road ahead snakes around trees just like it had done for miles past. The ache that once plagued my arms now reside in my legs. Yesterday it was declared that we needed to visit the town, so i was involuntarily volunteered into this journey, a day away by foot after foot after foot along this long monotonously long road. There were four of us:

The captain, a man by the name of Boar, his age was vastly greater than others with his age apearing to be aproaching fifty, yet he looked strong enough to pull a carriage, one that would mean i wouldn't have to take another step.

Secondly was Fox a tall man, thin man. His sword broke on the hunt, and its repair and replacement is the main reason for this trip, the two halves of the blade were sheathed, bandaged and strapped on his back.

Then there was Wolf. Then there was me.

Wolf had been suspiciously silent for the most part of this trip. And continued to act increasingly nervous the further we got.

"Wolf what is your spirit?" I ask.

"What?" He looked as surprised as a man who was asked a question while deep in thought. "It's a rabbit. Good for luring and distracting. Not good for much else.

Fox turned his head. "You know exactly what it's good for." Then laughed. "Mine is only good during winter, shame the last of the snow melted." His skin and hair suddenly turned to the palest of white and his eyes became a blood red. "See." He said.

Boar sighed. "Stop showing off."

"Captain's spirit is a leaf that numbs his entire body, including his sence of fun." Fox said.

"Or maybe i wan't to get there sometime today." And then silence ensued.

It was late evening by the time we arrived to the town, which stood tall enclosed by walls sitting on a river and flat lands that had many farms. After entering we went straight here to a large one floored detatched building that heat poured out from. We entered.

The contents of the interior revealed this place to be a blacksmiths. A gruff old man walked over. "Wasn't expecting you for another week, but lucky for you i finished it early." He passed a small parcel to wolf.

Wolf looked relieved. "If you don't mind i've somewhere to be." And left in a rush.

"I thought we came to repair a sword." I say.

"Who is this, your illegitimate child?" The old man says with a frown.

"Who knows? Are you going to fix the sword or not?"

"Yeah, yeah, same price as before, just pick it up in the morning."
