《Making magic, Forging fame.》To spell the soul and call the spirit

I had slept peacefully all night, so why does my body hurt. The long days work the day before had taken its toll on my body, the cool morning air helped, but not by much. Wolf was waiting outside like the day before and was less than simpathetic: "Looks like you lead a life of luxury before, don't worry the pain will fade Like snow in spring. Come on, the others will be Returning from the hunt soon." I drag my body after him, despite the dull relentless aching.
By mid afternoon after returning from delivering the cut logs to the stone hut, i descover Several new figures in the clearing, and two dead bears, i aproach with caution.
"Even so, to hunt two so quickly is impressive."
One of them turns, noticing me. "Looks like a student got lost again."
The others turned to face me. Now that i had their attention i could introduce myself: "hi.."
"This is Lore, he will be joining us, i know he is not of age but he actually cant remember a thing, so i've been teaching him to collect lumber all day. Isn't that right?" Wolf interupted
"...Yeah" becomes my introduction.
"What's your spirit?" A young muscular woman asks.
what spirit? "err..."
Wolf's ability to interupt was welcome: "lost memory. I'll tell the others we'll be feasting, you can show him.", And with that he walked off deeper into the forest.
"Why me?" She said, already walking towards the castle. Looking over her shoulder, "you coming?" I follow.
It was only after we had left the forest did she say anything "I am raven." she said.
"Lore. Where are we going?" I say.
"There is this awesome ancient magic, that anyone can use, and it allows us to summon spirits." She said in an excited tone that didn't suit her expression.

"Why?" I ask.
"A spirit is a part of you, but isn't you, it can change you or fight with you." She said vaguely. She stops. "My spirit is an ape. I actually look like this." mist poured from her as her height and muscles shrank. Her tall muscular complexion became slim and feminine. "What do you think?"
I stare at her. Wow she's so "Beautiful."
"Thanks." She smiled. "Come on."
We arrive at a large room on the second floor of the castle. One the one side of the room is a giant mirror, on the other is another circle, in the center of the circle is a single rune large complex rune, surounded by a smaller line of runes which spiral outwards.
"The spirit you have is random so don't worry if it is terrible. Just touch the circle and see what happens."
I walk towards the circle, it seems off somehow, like it the circle just told a really stupid lie. But i can't place my finger on it so i reach out and place my hand on it. Each rune glows, they shine in a thousand thousand different colours. Then the light begin to flow towards the center getting brighter as they do so, it feels like my bones are being pulled out through my hand.
Then it stops. Returning to normal. A small flame is emmited and hangs in the air before flying straight into my body. Although it doesn't burn i can still feel its presence.
"You have an elemental spirit. They're pretty rare." Raven spoke with a voice that displayed her knowledge and almost concealed her disapointment as if she was expecting a giant dragon to fly out. "Lets return."
Behind the stone hut was a small glade, where at least two dozen gathered, half of them appeared to be preparing food, the others appeared to be idling in wait. All of them carried two weapons on the waist, and each of them had at least one sword.

"Why do you all carry one sword." I ask raven.
"When we come of age, our parents give us a sword made by their own hands. Although it is not as sharp or durable as a professionally made blade it is always good to have a backup weapon."
"Nah, he meant why haven't you broken yours with all that brute strength. You break everything else. In fact you've proba..." Wolf had mysteriously appeared next to us and unmysteriously been punched in the face.
