An Evil Justice
Chapter 5 – Seven Deadly Sins
Mature Warning- None
--* Soul Citadel, Underworld *--
The ground began to wither and crack, leaving behind blackened and brittle stone. The amount of darkness spewing forth from both the land and sea was astounding, attracting the awe of millions of demons outside of the citadel.
As the torrent of shadows gathered in the sky, they slowly began to swirl downwards into the Soul Citadel and bombarded a kneeling figure. Before the tornado of black, a massive demon stood gallantly, his crimson armor glinted menacingly even under the duress of pure black.
Grim’s body greedily swallowed the shower of darkness, as if it was the mouth of the void. The figure before him, Satan, did not idle as his mouth moved rapidly, chanting ancient and profound words which seemed to bolster the amount of shadows erupting from the world.
A baleful aura began to seep out of Grim’s body, like tendrils of evil itself. Even this began to pressure Satan as sweat rolled down his forehead. His mouth began to move faster and faster, struggling to keep up with the void that is Grim’s body. It was due to this that the Prince hesitated to utilize the Sin Bestowal, as it absorbed the chanter’s life force to fuel it. The chant he was desperately reciting only served to alleviate some of that punishment by using the Underworld’s own life force.
It was beyond his predictions that Grim’s body could absorb such an unbelievable amount. With each second, he felt a year of his life disappearing, which was a relatively small price to pay compared to the thousands of years worth of energy the Underworld was releasing. Though it truly depressed him, the fact that Grim was capable of such an amazing feat was quite thrilling.
The Sin Bestowal was a spell provided by the Heavens to allow the Underworld to maintain their power by allowing a sin to assimilate itself into a soul’s core. As for the spell absorbing the Underworld’s own energy, even Satan himself did not know its origins however the Heavens have given the Princes permission to use it during Sin Bestowals after Lucifer reported its uses.

Satan’s deep crimson eyes stared into the being before him, his words filling the air. Now it was only a matter of time.
…
“Hey, old man, the ground is turning into stone… hah” letting go of a yawn, a scraggly dressed teenager walked up to a similarly poorly dressed old man. Both of them radiated an aura of lethargy, capable of making anyone nearby drowsy. Though a deep bag hung underneath their eyes, they were both filled with energy as they stared up into the sky.
“So, that damn brute was able to get a disciple huh?” the elderly man muttered. His eyes were filled with reluctance, but after a minute, he sighed in defeat.
“Chronos, let’s go, we don’t have an excuse to skip the meeting since Lucifer sent out those damn imps,” the old man yelled as he watched the boy try and run away in the corner of his eyes.
“Damn it…” Chronos paused in the middle of his next step and slowly turned around to follow the white haired elder.
…
“Brat, you’ve really taken a toll out of my life span…” the crimson armored demon spat a globule of black as he stared at the being floating in front of him. The longer he looked, the more the fear in the back of his mind rampaged. He wouldn’t dare allow it else he would lose all respect amongst the other princes.
A supposed mentor scared of his own disciple? How laughable.
However, he could not deny that the fear welling up inside of him was well founded. Similar to his eyes, two crimson dots glowed underneath the deep black cloak covering the figure. Unlike his, however, they were completely filled with unbridled bloodlust. Adding to those menacing eyes, a mysterious robe hid the top of the figure’s head down to his legs and opened up in the front revealing pitch black skin.
Wisps of dark smoke would occasionally rise from the cloak, withering anything that it touched. What was most surprising were the similarly dark and rampaging flames spewing forth from the figure’s neck and right shoulder. It did not give off any heat whatsoever and instead felt chilling, like an ominous omen.

“Suppress your Sin already Grim Reaper. The other Emissaries and Princes are approaching,” Satan ordered. While waiting for the haunting figure to revert back into his original form, he watched twelve individuals slowly approach from all sides of the citadel. As for how he was able to do this without direct vision, only one can guess.
“What do I need to do to repay you, demon?” a deep and husky voice interrupted his concentration. Shifting his eyes, he stared at a familiar man standing in front of him. Grim’s square face was very pale, similar to that of a dead body’s skin. Fortunately, a dark robe hung over most of his body. His hair had grown down to his torso and was completely white. Though he was vastly different compared to the monster from before, his crimson eyes still contained intense amounts of bloodlust.
“We’ll talk later, Grim Reaper,” he said as he turned around to stare at the twelve people surrounding them, “first let’s introduce you to them".
Around them was a collection of unique looking individuals, who all radiated power auras. Grim’s red eyes shifted from one person to the next, however, none of them truly garnered his interest. After all, his only motivation was obtaining personal strength and using it to bathe in the blood of his victims.
"Satan, you've finally acquired a disciple huh?" a richly clothed man spoke. Several sets of jewels covered his body, from shiny white gold necklaces to diamond encrusted rings. The amount of wealth Grim could see on his person was astounding, yet it did nothing more than garner a curious stare.
By his side, a similarly dressed and accessorized man greeted Grim humbly with a slight bow. Ignoring the dazzling jewels and fine cloth on the man's body, Grim's eyes were deeply attracted to the golden gloves he wore. This was short lived, as Satan spoke loudly, attracting his annoyed glare, "Heh, this brat wouldn't even be able to last a day under my tutelage".
"Now, now Satan. You'll just have to train him not to be weak right?" next to the rich duo, a handsome man interjected. He was truly the epitome of a handsome image. His whole body was held with a refined gait as if he was a true-born noble.
Next to him stood a stunning woman, whose looks rivaled the man's. It was as if all of the beauty the world was capable of summoning were compressed into her curvy body. The other Emissaries seemed to be affected by her bewitching beauty as well, as most of them were incapable of removing their perverse eyes from her body.
A hint of great annoyance would flash in her eyes from time to time as if the attention was torture, yet the men did not take notice. To her surprise, Grim's gaze landed on her for only a second before moving on. The man next to her noticed Grim's quick glance as well and was quite surprised at the Emissary's self-control.
"For now, we'll leave you Emissaries to yourselves. We Princes will be holding a meeting above the citadel," Lucifer smiled brightly and promptly flew up into the air. The other Princes followed in tandem, leaving the Emissaries alone.
As they disappeared deep into the sky, a snobbish looking man quickly approached Grim. His eyes were filled with complete arrogance as if Grim was similar to that of a lowly cockroach.
With a lofty voice, he pointed straight at the pale man and announced, "Hey, newbie. You'll be under my rule and obey whatever I say".
The onlookers only stared helplessly. They knew that the Emissary of Pride would try to manipulate the newest addition to the group and could only feel regret for their inability to help. Even as demonized souls, they still held some semblance of morals.
Before any of them could take action, however, darkness began to spew forth from Grim's body.

Far Strider
A college student finds himself transported into a strange land with burgeoning magical powers, and is taken in by Ned Stark. Will he sink or swim in this medieval society, and will he ever get home? ====================== OC-insert without knowledge of Game of Thrones, new planeswalker. Slow power ramp. Second crossover: Star Wars (around chapter 39). ======================= As a note, I started this as a speed writing challenge to myself. The challenge was successful, and I managed 100,000+ words (as well as some character sheets in excel and such) over 10.5 days. Then I had to stop and let my hands recover from their burgeoning carpal tunnel syndrome. The story currently stands at around 150,000 words (or ~550 RRL pages) over 54 chapters; expect a chapter a day until I've caught up with the backlog. The focus of this story was not quality writing, and that hasn't changed. I mostly use it as my semi-guilty "I need to write something, but am not focused enough to write something good" story. Expect self-indulgent writing in general, and a bit of OP (or, well, more than just a bit if we're being honest), especially later in the story as the protagonist matures into a more full-blown Planeswalker. But if you're looking for something with a power-ramping protagonist romping around the place, something you'd be a bit embarrassed to admit liking (I know I am) but like anyways (and come on, this is RRL, so that probably describes just about everyone here who actually has shame), then this may be a nice bit of mental junk food for you.
