With how torn you are between the city and the town, your choice is left to fate.
On a roll of 1-50, you will be born within a town.
On a roll of 51-100, you will be born within a city.
[Rolling D100]
Roll: 72 - City
How fortunate that you are going to find yourself within a city. Residing within the heart of the Silvers region, Silverbane is one of the largest cities within the realm ruled by Queen Amindal and her husband, King Rovar. The pair that rule the city are Margave Ornal Silverbane and Margrave Lindia Silverbane, whose family the city was named after generations ago. In another timeline, it could have been possible that the Silverbanes could have been the rulers of the realm, but it is what it is.
This city is also home to two more noble families, both sworn to the Margaves. There is the Lord in Arms Harold Blackburn, a bachelor in his mid-40s, who made his name on the battlefield having saved the Margaves life more than once. Then there are Barons James Littlewick and Baron Joanne Littlewick, whose family was uplifted to Barons when the Silverbanes became the Margraves generations ago by the original rulers that conquered the realm.
Lord Mayor, an honourary ranking rather than actual nobility, goes to Lilia Blackmarsh, a distant relative of the current Lord in Arms. Though also part of the war effort, a harsh injury left her unable to continue. Margave Lindia lifted her into the role of Lord Mayor. It is rumoured that she could have been made a Lord in Arms as well if she hadn’t been injured.
Well, what’s happened has happened. At least she isn’t stuck in the middle of the void, shackled for eternity so I don’t think she can complain.

Right, sorry.
The city is supported by a retinue of a Miayan typically. Excuse me, a hundred or so guards. A Miayan is typically used to describe a hundred or so soldiers, guards and the like. The Margrave has his own personal army as well as some knights. Most nobles have knights, but only certain nobles have a professional army at the ready.
If you find yourself wanting for anything, the city is the perfect place. Market stalls are common place, with travelling merchants making seasonal trips, and the stores about the city can accommodate most items you may require.
Probably the most important thing you need to know about the city is its Religious Orders.
This city is fanatical about its religion. When the Silverbane first took power all those years ago, it was mostly because of her ruthless slaughtering of any lycanthropes that once dwelled within their lands.
Due to this there is a temple dedicated to Silversmith, the minor God of monster hunting, holds quite a bit of influence even in comparison to the temple dedicated to the main gods. You’ll find paladins and priests wield large amounts of power and influence, and are quite the rowdy bunch.
Most of the other organisations don’t need to be mentioned at this point, the temple is the main one that you really need to worry about.
The main question though…
Is who are you?
I can give you several options.
My powers are limited at this moment, so I can’t offer much more than this.
Firstly your gender.
Male?
Female?
Then comes your background.
Were you raised in a temple?
Were you raised as a crafter?
Were you raised within a military household?
Were you raised on the streets?

I Am the God of Games
This is the tale of an earthling, who transmigrated as a dying third-rate god but somehow rose through the ranks, gaining followers and eventually causing the Fourth Great Apocalypse. ☆ "Have you ever heard of the God of Games?" "The God of Games..?" Eleena shook her head in puzzlement. "I have never heard of Him…" "What if the God of Games could give you the power to defeat your enemies?" Xi Wei coaxed patiently. Eleena remained silent for a while, before resolutely lifting her head and fixing her gaze on Xi Wei. "Then I am willing to become a believer of the God of Games!" "Belief isn't something to only be spoken by mouth. Close your eyes and envision His name in your mind, and feel His power with your heart," he said solemnly. "O Master of Games, grant us new life!"
8 1206I Summoned You
Julia wanted revenge, but she didn't imagine she'd get a demon to help her with it. Three girls worked together to cast a ritual, and summoned a demon to grant their wishes. Whether its peace of mind, the confidence to not be bullied, or revenge, the demon is willing to please. What matters afterward is the price that has to be paid. Not only by the summoners, but by the ones who have wronged them. --- Cover photo by Mallory Johndrow on Unsplash.com --- [participant in the NaNoWriMo Royal Road challenge]

When Aurum Industries announced the first Full Immersion Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (FIVRMMORPG if you're hip) Limitless Online, most people saw it as an opportunity to live out their sword and sorcery fantasies. John, however, saw it as the opening of a new and as of yet uncrowded job market. One he was willing, and eager, to exploit. Determined to make money through virtual hard work and effort, John sets his sights not on the heights of magic or the perfection of the sword, but instead upon the tilling of the soil and the sowing of seeds as he explores the wide and wonderful world of magical agriculture all from the comfort of his own bed. Disclaimer: This is, at best, a very rough draft. I have already had to do one major rewrite and several minor rewrites of entire sections of the story, and it is a virtual certainty I will have to do re-writes again. Such changes may be as small as editing a few numbers (such as going back and changing how much mana an object holds) or it may force me to re-write entire chapters (this has happened once already, and I'm really hoping it doesn't happen again, but... life). Minor re-writes will probably never be posted here. Major rewrites probably will.Anyway, what this boils down to is: If you're looking for a fully cohesive story with few to no errors and publisher level editing, this is not the story for you. If your looking for a cohesive plot that's more than "Man farms, man farms, man farms well, man maybe makes money" you're probably also in the wrong place, but I will attempt to entertain you anyway.
