《TUW》Hit In The Face With Popcorn (Chapter 15)

"AHHHHH!"
The scream of an old man could be heard as he ran. A golem was escaping beside him as well, at an astonishing speed, considering it only had arms to drag itself along the ground.
"ARRRRKAKAAKAKAA!"
The monsters roared with laughter as they chased the poor duo.
"Kerbbal! This very fun!"
"Arbolk agree! Smash rock all day not fun!"
Because of their large size, they were able to run faster than the duo, albeit not that much faster. The old man and the golem screamed as they ran, and eventually, the Treknukens caught up. It was just as well; a huge expanse of water spread before them, cutting off their escape.
"Arbolk, food cannot run now!"
The Treknukens stood at either side, blocking off the escape of them both. The old man tried to recite more verses from his holy book in desperation but there was no response.
-------
Somewhere up there...
"Pffffft, AHAHAHAHA!"
Xenon accidentally spit out a mouthful of popcorn as she laughed. A man with vibrant green hair frowned as he watched her behaviour.
"Xenon, that's not funny! You are very irresponsible, not even helping your followers!"
"Shut up, you know I'd do something if anything actually happened!"
Xenon frowned as she chewed her movie snacks. Why did he always have to disturb her fun? He did do a fair amount of trolling when he was younger for fun. Bah, such a hypocrite.
"It's not nice to laugh at their misfortune either!"
"SHUT UP!"
-------
"Ahhhhhhhh! Goddess heed prayer please!"
The old man kept shouting for help as one of the demonic creatures grabbed him, examining him in the palm of it's hand. Rocky was grabbed as well, flailing in the hands of the other Treknuken, Arbolk.

"Kerbbal! This not look like food!"
Arbolk looked displeased as it stared at his brother who held a tastier looking meal. The human did look a bit old and stringy however.
"No Arbolk you stupid! If move is food!"
Arbolk heard the words of wisdom from Kerbbal, feeling enlightened. Of course! How could it move if it wasn't food? The food was clearly pretending to be a rock!
"Arbolk is sorry! Me stupid, fall for trick!"
Arbolk had tears running down his cheeks as he kowtowed to Kerbbal, who had enlightened him! He couldn't believe me fell for such a simple trick! Kerbbal smirked as he pat Arbolk's head smugly.
"If Arbolk learn, good!"
"Yes! Arbolk learn!"
Arbolk gave one last kowtow before biting down hard on the golem, so hard he shattered his teeth. Golems had mana enchant the rocks they took as hosts, giving shoddy rocks ridiculous defensive power. Rocky's arm had still been bitten off however.
"AHHHHHH! Not food! Kerbbal is stupid is lie!"
Arbolk shouted at Kerbbal, crying as blood leaked out of his mouth.
"What! Kerbbal is not believe you! Kerbbal try food!"
Kerbbal took the one-armed golem from Arbolk's mouth and bit down. Clearly, Kerbbal wasn't wrong, Kerbbal was too smart! Arbolk was just too dumb to bite properly!
"KUUUK!"
Kerbbal's teeth shattered. Rocky's shell was completely shattered at this point, and it's core rolled out of the idiot's mouth, falling into the lake.
"Kerbbal stupid! This not food!"
Arbolk yelled, enraged as he attacked Kerbbal who was busy screaming in pain at the loss of his teeth. The two enraged monsters started fighting, the old man dropped painfully on the ground as he watched in confusion.
A conclusion hit him.
"T-this must be goddess's work! Praise goddess!"
He bent down on the ground, and kowtowed to no direction in particular, tears running down his cheeks as he thanked Xenon. Little did he know, she had nothing to do with this.
-------
"AHAHAHAHAHA!"
Xenon laughed hysterically as she watched the scenes play out. Being able to view the thoughts of the participants only made it funnier.
"Stop that! You are spilling popcorn all over the floor!"
The man got a mouthful of half chewed popcorn spat in his face for that statement.
