Understanding

Chloe`s POV

Another day ends. *sigh* It was almost two months in game but until now I`m still reluctant to have other players to be my teammate. Others are just arrogant and bossy which really turn me off, then there are teams that will only take you if you’re in the same country as them that I understand. Other teams are formed being neighbors even though I tried to approach them, they quickly judge me as weird girl when I told them I`m an Anime enthusiast.

I always think that why am I not accepted by others for who am I. I know that this generation had accepted this kind of hobby but there are still people who`s still judging us like we are different but everybody is just like me who likes playing game and role playing different characters in game so why.

Maybe because of my preference of gothic and horror might also scare some people but I carry on. I don`t get discourage easily just because of this things. I have to move from my parent`s house to this city because I passed and enrolled at Luminous College which I really worked hard.

I`m also thankful that I was picked from millions of people that send their essay and mails. I`m not a social nor anti-social but I enjoy a small parties and events that are not too crowded. But being inside VR is really different because I can just be me being gothic and everything and it also open path that I could make friends here and overseas.

Now that i`m staying at Neos by being their Beta tester is really something that could help me to have more friends. As of now, I have acquaintance from different floors and guilds that are starting up. But i`m still with the NPC team that I help when i`m still on Sedart, even if they are weaker than me they are much better than others that treat me as pawns just because i`m a mage.

I decided to help them until they reach Vulcan and begin to train until their coming of age test, which is this season. They have their own stories that inspired me to work harder here and in RL.

The interesting player that I had met except the lost race team from Sedart is Raiser the clockwork. He`s silent and cold somehow but I guess he`s just not very social. But there are times that I see him working and helping NPC or what others called Natives. He even has a talkative fairy named Leyla and from my experience with other players, Leyla is an exception from the normal guide that this game offers.

She really cared about Raiser but always denied it when he`s around but she showed it when Raiser stay behind to let us escaped from our first mission together. Unlike Byume who’s my guide, Leyla is very expressive when she wants something or she has opinions on things unlike Byume who keeps his silent but tactful and smart.

After my first quest with Raiser that didn`t end up well, I feel down and discourage but Byume and the others help me up and get going. For weeks, we challenge different dungeons and forest missions that we can manage without Raiser`s help. He was good at making tactics and has good sense of leadership. But my teams can be stronger and coordinated so we trained harder, sometimes Raiser tag along with us but it wasn`t a very dangerous mission aside when we challenge the Ant hole.

At first, I was scared because of the last mission here but now that we are stronger, I know that we can finish this quest to subjugate the queen ant. The mini boss is weaker but we are still careful not get it in our heads, even Raiser is still on alert while we goes deeper. We have some fights along the way but we manage it and continue but the Queen Ant is the real deal of this quest. Maybe that`s why only few teams only take this missions because of the risk and fine if you fail.

The battle against the Queen is hard and risky but Zeldy and the others are determine to defeat it because they can be proud of it that they succeeded on their third step on coming of age and that is able to defeat or at least participate on subjugating boss class monster or dungeon floor master. The final one is go to dukedom to be recognized by the Guild headmaster and their respective class mentor.

After we subjugated the queen ant we celebrate it but Raiser turn it down for some reason but Leyla back it up that he needs to do other things and don`t want to bother us. At least he add me before he leaves but when he came back that was just epic, he brought back a giant monster that is like a cross breed of rhino and a dinosaur.

For us, we have to wait a little bit more before we move to the Dukedom because of the dungeon pop out inside the scrapyard. We take some quest for dungeon clear as the exploration team subjugate the floor masters. At first try, it was so hard and the monsters are too many even the drone ant that moves here is much stronger and bigger. Monster down here have tattoos or markings in their bodies that release mana trend that is connected to the dungeon according to other master magicians that we met in the guild.

The tattoos are the representation of each dungeon so if monsters are marked then they are corrupted and stronger. After a week, the dungeon is subjugated and what`s more I received an announcement that Raiser gain a one-time only time. I know Raiser even if it was short and he would never flaunt something that could risk his life and not survive, maybe he`s not so careful after all. I also gain unique skill that is developing under certain circumstances but I denied to be announcing it globally.

We tag along with the silver team and the rising teams that participate in the subjugation that are called pioneers by others. I was hoping to see Raiser again but from what I heard he is disable and heavily damage but I didn`t see him maybe he is hiding for some reason but I messaged him to get well and be okay.

As we arrived at Feliusa village, things are become more convenient as many merchant that are here and trading their goods for a lower price and better conditions. Only a few days before we arrive at the Dukedom but I can`t wait to be there. I hope Raiser can catch up with us.

just to spoil a little.

Chloe may interact with the MC on both RL and IG but not too soon because our clockwork will go into an adventure.

Volume 2 will be covering that adventure and i don`t know how long it will take but it will be for V2.

anyways i`ll post other POV maybe around 3 more. don`t know maybe along with my mode and story flow that will put insight and other things that may affect or not.
