《The Billionaire's Proposal》"James Meet Sara..."

I wake up wrapped in my white duvet covers. I turn around to look at my clock which read six forty five. With a groan I rub my eyes and sigh before getting up. I slip on my black furry slippers before heading towards my closet. I picked out a white skirt that ended mid thigh, a pink ruffle sleeve blouse, and purge pumps. I lay the clothes on my bed before heading towards my bathroom were I wash my face and brush my teeth. I place the clothes on before heading towards my vanity. I quickly applied some light make up before brushing my tangled hair and letting it fall into curly waves. Once I am done I grab my bag as well as the birthday present bag with Sara's stuff in it and head downstairs.
As I walk into the kitchen I am surprised to find Adrian, "Well you are up early."
"And I see you are, too." Adrian replies with a playful smile. I wasn't complaint but Adrian started acting differently, he started acting more like the twenty four year old he was.
"Ms. Hamilton, what would you like today?" Fernando asks.
"Cereal is just fine." I reply and he nods as he takes out the untouched box of cereal.
"Jane, I am going to need to stop by at the office before we head to the cafe." Adrian stated and I nod understandingly.
"That's fine." I reply with a smile.
"Your cereal miss." Fernando states as he places my cereal in front of me and I give him a grateful smile.
"Cereal?" Adrian asks with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah," I answer. "I want to save enough room for all the food I am going to eat at the cafe."
"I sure do miss your coffees." Adrian replied.
"You should've said something before."
"Before we hated each other's guts." Adrian pointed out.
"When we get to the cafe I'll make you one." I reply with a smile.
I could see a smile tugging on his lips as he answers, "You're not my servant, you don't have to make me a coffee."
"Finally he sees things right." I tease. "But it's like my way to thank you for helping me buy Sara a birthday present."

"Alright." Adrian responds as he gives in causing my smile to widen.

"I just need to get these documents printed and then we can leave." Adrain explains as he looks for something on his computer.
The sound of paper printing fills the room interrupting the silence. Once the papers are printed Adrian staples them together and puts them in a folder. Before we can leave the offices though James encounters us.
"Guys, its good I found you." James states. "I'm bored."
"And?" Adrain asks while raising an eyebrow.
"I need you to entertain me so I won't be bored." James whined causing me to giggle.
I place my hand on his shoulder and state, "Sometimes you make me wonder how old you really are."
"Sometime I think he's a five year old stuck in a twenty four year's old body." Adrian teases.
"You can come with us," I suggest. "We are going to visit one of my friends since it's her birthday."
"Is there going to be chicas?" James asks as he wiggles his eyebrows and Adrian face palms himself.
"Yeah, but there is also going to be cake." I reply which causes James's eyes to lit up.
"Cake and girls, what more could I ask for! Let's go guys." James cheers causing me to laugh and Adrian to chuckle.

"Tell me again why we invited you?" Adrian asks.
"Because I am your best friend." James answers in a duh tone. "Well, now that I think about it I am your only friend."
This causes Adrian's cheeks to turn a light shade of red.
"Not true, I am his friend, too." I state as I throw my arm over Adrian's shoulder which sent sparks of electricity up my arm.
"You are his fiancé." James points out.
"But I can also be his friend, plus isn't your spouse supposed to be like your best friend, your soulmate, your other half?" I reply.
"Well yeah bu...woah you are not going to steal my best friend." James states as he pulls Adrian away from my embrace.
"No offense, but I rather Jane hug me." Adrian jokes causing James mouth to fall.
"That really hurt." James states as he wipes away the invisible tear from his eye for emphasis.

The limousine comes to a stop and I realize we have arrived.
"Come on crybaby." I state as the door opens and I walk out.
"Jane!" Marshall's voice fills the diner as I walk in. The beautiful brunette runs over to me and engulfs me into a tight hug. "Girl, I missed you."
"I missed you, too." I reply with a huge grin. "So, where is the birthday girl?"
"She's in the back." Marshall answers.
"She doesn't know I am here right?" I ask and Marshall shakes her head.
"No definitely not, I mean Marshal screaming your name was definitely not loud enough for her to hear." Mark, one of the cooks states causing me to laugh.
"Hi Mark, how have you been?" I ask.
"Great! I hear you are getting married." He replies. "I would say I am happy for you but you've crushed my heart with this."
I laugh at Mark and answer, "I've seen you have gotten better at acting."
Mark was twenty two and he was currently attending night classes to achieve his life goal: becoming a broadway star.
"I can fake tears now!" He gleams.
Adrian and James walk up to me and I can sense they feel utterly left out.
"Mark, Marshall I would like you to officially meet my fiancé, Adrian and James his best friend." I introduce. The four shake hands before Adrian wraps an arm around my waist.
"Jane, what are you doing here?" Sara asks and we turn to look at her.
"I came to wish my best friend a happy birthday." I reply in a duh tone as I hug her. "This is for you."
I hand her the Birthday bag and she smiles as she opens up the contents.
"Thank you." She smiles before we hug again.
"Jane, what are you doing here?" The magical voice caused my attention to immediately look at her.
Curly dark brown almost black hair flowed down the angels shoulders, as her hazel green eyes stared at Jane. She was beautiful no beyond beautiful a complete angel. Everything she did seemed to go in slow motion as my gaze never left her. Once I had the chance to talk to her I walk up to her and put on my charming smile.
"Do you believe love at first sight? Or should I walk by again?" I flirt only earning a laugh from her. I scrunch my eyebrows not used to this sort of reaction. I would usually get shy smiles, flushed cheeks, and batting eyelashes.
"That's the cheesiest pick up line I have ever heard." She answers causing my smile to drop. "Let me guess, most girls would answer with rosy cheeks and shy smiles?"
Her reaction causes me to smile and I am even more intrigued by this woman in front of me.
"Yeah, but you aren't most girls are you?" Sara shakes her head and my smile widens.
He was handsome, I'll give him that but his pick up lines needed improvement. His facial expression immediately answers my question.
"Yeah, but you aren't most girls are you?" I shake my head and his smiles widens and I don't realize that I ported a smile of my own.
"Sorry to disappoint blue eyes but I am not." I answer with a smudged look.
"Well that's good because that makes you different and intriguing." James responds.
"Oh really?" I ask as I raise an eyebrow.
"Yeah, indeed it does." He smiles.
We both staring into each other's eye but the eye connection broke when Marshall called us over to cut the cake. A look of disappointment washed over his face as I turn around and start walking towards my friends. Last minute, I bite my lip and turn around.
"Yes, I do believe in love at first sight." I state which causes his eyes to lit up. "Just improve your pick up lines and maybe we can go on a date."
With a smudge look I turn around and join my friends at one of the diner tables. With James following close behind.
"I'll keep that in mind." He whispers causing goosebumps to run down my spine.
"Alright, blue eyes." I answer with a smirk.
"Make a wish and blow out the candles." Jane states and that's exactly what I do.
I wish for a date with blue eyes.
