《The Billionaire's Proposal》Jealous Much

"Grandpa what are you doing here?" Questioned a confused Adrian as he moved closer to the man in a blue suit, his white hair combed to on side, and icy blue eyes staring at us intensely.
"I came to check up on my grandson," The man answered. "And ask him why the hell he took away my friend's company."
"Because he had a very good reason for doing it." I defend.
The white haired man turned his icy blue eyes to look at me with a questioning look.
"And who might you be?" He asked. "Another one of your mistresses, Adrian?"
Adrian's jaw clenched before answering, "She is not my mistress, Jane is my fiancé."
"Fiancé?" His grandpa seems taken aback by the sudden revelation.
"Yes, fiancé." Adrian replied. "Jane, she helped me change my mind about love and she's the woman for me and I want to spend the rest of my life with her."
Although I knew his words had no meaning to them they still made my heart skip a beat.
"When your father informed your grandmother and I that you were engaged we thought it was a joke, but it seems he was telling the truth," His grandpa answered. "It is nice to meet you, Jane."
I courteously gave him a hand shake and a genuine smile.
"You, too Mr. McKeller." I reply.
"How about we go inside and I will explain everything to you." Adrian suggests and his grandfather agrees.
Adrian interlocks our hands before leading us towards the living room where Rosalinda awaited with a pot of coffee.
"Would you like a cup of coffee?" Rosalinda asked and Mr. McKeller nodded.
"Thank you." He politely thanked before taking a sip from the cup. "So, Adrian care to explain why you took away the company from the Jacobs?"
"Damon had asked me to invest the company seeing as it was in great debt, I offered to help and invested asking for fifty percent of the company and to have a look at the earning rates." Adrian answers calmly. "Results, the ones that were stealing money from the company were Damon and his father."
Mr. McKeller was surprised by the sudden revelation. Trust me, I would have been too if I found out what my friend and his son were really like.
"Damon and his father were destroying Mr. Jacob's company and I knew how much Mr. Jacob cared for that company so I took it from them. I couldn't just stand back and watch them ruin Mr. Jacob's hard work." Adrian continues.
"I-I didn't know." His face showed how surprised he was now that his eyes had been open the solemn truth.

"Grandpa, I don't blame for defending them, they are your best friends son and grandson but they aren't who they pretend to be," Adrian replies. "Not only did they steal from the company but they were also unfair to their employees and they took advantage of them."
Adrian turns to look at me and he gently squeezes my hand that was still interlocked with his.
"I used to work for Jacob Corporations, I-I also used to date Damon. I did everything for them, I was the one who suggested they build a new resort in Maryland." I state grabbing Mr. McKeller's attention. "When his parents found out about us they told him to break up with me or else his fortune would be take away, and so he did what he was told. Not only was I heartbroken but Mr. Jacob's also made sure that I wouldn't get a job anywhere."
"If I had known what type of people they really where then I myself would have taken the company from them." Mr. McKeller responds with a red face and clenched fists.
"I always knew they weren't the saints they pretended to be and that's why I did some digging." Adrian replies.
Mr. McKeller stands up and places his hand on Adrian's shoulder as he answers, "Thank you, for opening my eyes and doing what is right. I am glad to have a grandson like you."
"There's no need to thank me," Adrian replies. "I just did what was right."
I smile at their grandfather grandson moment in awe.
"Well, I would love to stay and chat a bit more but I have two people to confront." Adrian and I walk his grandpa to the door he states, "I'll come visit sometime before the wedding."
"Alright, see you then." Adrian and I give his grandfather a hug before he walks to his awaiting limousine.
Adrian shuts the door and with a playful smile I state, "Now I see where you get your grumpiness from."
"Like grandfather, like grandson." Adrian replies with a chuckle which caused my smile to widen. A warm feeling washed over me as I stared at a happy Adrian.
"You should laugh more often, it makes you look a few years younger." Adrian smiles down at me and I feel my heart flutter. God, what is this man doing to me?
"So, have you eaten yet?" Adrian asks changing the subject.
"Better question have you eaten yet? You know it's not good to deal with a hangover on an empty stomach." I tease.
"I'll have you know that I can deal with hangovers easily." Adrian answers.
"If you say so Mr. Tough Pants." I lead Adrian to the dinning room where his breakfast was awaiting.

"I already ate but I'll join you with an apple." I state as I take out the apple I was supposed to read while I was outside reading. Adrian lets out a genuine laugh which only causes my heart to do a billion flips.

"You do know I could've just came myself, right?" Adrian and I were currently at the mall trying to find a gift for Sara. Her birthday was tomorrow and I still haven't gotten her anything yet.
"It's my day off and I rather much shop than stay at home bored." Adrain replies. "Plus, weren't you the one that told me to live a little."
I roll my eyes with a smile before my eyes land on it. It was gorgeous, absolutely perfect. I walked towards the beautiful piece of jewelry behind the glass box.
"It's beautiful, Sara would definitely love this." I state as I look at the gold chained necklace, with a circular rose gold diamond.
"Hello, how may I help you." A pale, blonde haired girl asked as she approached us.
"May I see this necklace, please?" I ask and the girl nods before taking the necklace out of the display compartment.
"It's a morganite and diamond halo pendant in 14k rose gold." The attendant informs. "It only cost four grand."
My eyes nearly pop out at the price. Holy shit, why does every pretty piece of jewelry so expensive.
"We'll take it." Adrian states from behind me as he hands the girl his credit card.
"Adrian, I can't let you waste four thousand dollars, I can just find some-"
"I want to, now shush and let me pay for it." Adrian replies. I give him a grateful smile as the attendant packs the necklace for us.
"Thank you." I state with a smile which he returns. "You really didn't have to-"
"I already told you Jane, I wanted to." Adrain answers.
"Before we leave I want to stop by at this store to get her something I bought." I state as we stop in front of Forever 21. Before Adrian can protest I give him my puppy eyes.
"Fine," he sighs in defeat as we walk into the store.
Adrian seems surprised and impressed at the selections in the store.
"Impressed, are we?" I tease which causes him to roll his eyes but his smile is still intact. "I told you, you could find beautiful clothes at these 'chain stores' and for a cheaper price."
"I'll hand it to you, the clothes are quiet beautiful." Adrain answers.
I walk to a rack with sun dresses and quickly scan them trying to find one that would suit Sarah.
"Does the beautiful lady need help?" A male attendant asked making me look up.
"Uh, no thank you." I reply with a small smile before continuing to scan the dresses.
The guy picks up a tight black dress and states, "This one would really look good on you."
His eyes scan my body hungrily and I look at him with disgust.
"It's for my friend." I respond.
"Honey, are you done yet?" Adrian asked as he walked up to me and pulled me towards him possessively.
I watch as the two have a stare off and I roll my eyes before answering, "No, but how about we try another store."
"That's fine by me." I interlock our hands as I pull Adrian out of the store. He still had his icy glare on the guy that tried hitting on me. "Jealous much?"
He pretends not to know what I am talking about and answers, "I am not jealous."
"If you say so." I look around and decided to try H&M. I grab Adrian's hand and pull to the next store.
As soon as we walk into the store my eyes land on a beautiful light pink dress. I walk over to the rack and scan for the dress that was Sara's size. Once I find it I grab it and head to the register.
"Well that was quicker than the other store." Adrian comments as we get in line. As I look around I find most of the girls in the store drooling as they eye rape Adrian.
"All these girls are literally drooling over you." I state as Adrian raised in eyebrow.
"Really, I didn't notice." Adrian replies. "Guess I am more handsome than I thought."
I roll my eyes at his egotistical comment.
"Now who's the jealous one?" Adrian teases.
Me! "Pssh, I am not jealous. I have nothing to be jealous about."
"If you say so." Adrian replied repeating my earlier words. He unexpectedly placed a kiss on my lips leaving me with a questioning look. "I thought I saw paparazzi."
I stare at him suspiciously but before I can interrogate him it was my turn to pay. A pair of earrings catches my eyes. They were similar to the necklace we bought earlier and I place them on the register along with the dress. I pay the exact amount before grabbing the bag and walking out with Adrian right behind me.
"Thank you for accompanying me." I state with a smile which he returns.
"It was my pleasure." He answers causing me to giggle.
