《Authority [Dropped]》Chapter 7

Chapter 7: Beginning (1).
After the aged man's long explanation the atmosphere which was left lingering the area had already turned long solemn. The smoke, previously swaying, was now floating still and faint like a flame on a candle wick out of wax to supply energy. Suddenly-
Accompanied by a boom that came from the pit of fire (campfire), although it was only a sound akin to that of a cricket created by the burning coal (branch), it was sufficient in a way of telling that it was a beginning of the unfolding of an extraordinary event.
The youth however was still in the stump and remained unmoving as if she were a statue and the same as the aged man whom staring to his both disciple and granddaughter finally starting to integrate and ingrained the knowledge in her mind. However for the man it was not weird as he was explaining he got too passionate about it and unknowing activated the hidden skill which was far above of the 'level of control' from the youth and 'slightly' affected the youth's take on the subject matter making the old feel a little bad but nonetheless he was not worried as he knew that this daughter of his is a genius among the family's young ones.
As Titus was listening through the aged man's explained had something suddenly dawned upon him. And with 'it' being the reason why he felt something was not right when he was making his way here. Because of such Titus sunk into deep contemplation as he peered through the entirity of his soul. If you look at his eyes at the moment, Titus' eyes seemed unfocused and blank totally not aware of his surroundings, it is a good thing that he was still hidden among the leaves.

A hidden skill has been discovered.
Synchronization (Passive)
[ Not upgradable]
Mind and body are one. Isn't that godly? Well, congratulations as you had already paved the path that you'll walk on while still in your infancy stage, good job Imp!
Effects:
- mind and body are one; allows the users mind and body to become one and be able to uniformly control the two as one, obviously...
+ the host's visualization for example will be attained as if already 'familiar' with it and just 'familiar'. However it does not mean that the mastery will be upgraded straight to the peak, instead it will follow the same process as other skills or executions made, the frequent the use the better.
Titus was stunned. After all, he did not expect to have already acquired a hidden skill himself after he leveled up. Never in his imagination that this situation came to his mind such as this one. Titus expected and since he was still new to this world he did not know that he can even acquire a hidden skill through the 'find it' rather than just inheritance. However, thinking a bit more it makes sense as he created a new hidden skill exclusively for himself, unknown to also himself apparently until now.
'No wonder there was only three skills that popped out apart from the level notification despite having 5 Notifications (ding*) in total.' Titus thought back when he acquired the skills.
' So that answer how I was able to "T*rzan" swing without experience at all. And looking at the skills introduction, it is as godly as it is. From the start I already felt I'm too OP since I was a hard on nerd in my past life. It was so much that the primary and only goal of mine was to get things such as a PhD on all major subjects and professions, and so I did and afterwards became depressed and bored about life and came to his world by 'technology' I 'created' at least helped to create to restart my life. Still I have no clear goals at the moment apart from getting accustomed to the law of the jungle, in other words survival. ' Titus recalled a moment and then evaluated his current situation.

In the midst of Titus contemplation the grandfather and granddaughter already left and even reached the point of completely erasing the evidence of someone camping here. Just like the smoke that lead Titus unto this place vanishing into thin air without warning as the surrounding nature came back to their tranquil state away from human interference. Although Titus only watched from a distance he knew that this encounter was not the last of then as it was only a beginning.
Awakening from his stuppor, Titus gazed at the empty space on where his source of enlightenment came from and got disappointed. However he just shrugged it after some thought. Thinking of an immediate goal he quickly left the area and quickly found a more secluded area. At the moment Titus' exploration has come to a pause as he needed to prepare himself first.
Titus found a tree whose inside was hollow and start chewing on the trunk (anime reference/inspired BTW) until he created a small cave dwelling inside the tree. Along with some stalks of grass the he casually plucked as the floor, it looked like a proper home.
Satisfied, Titus sat on the center of his 'home' and entered his "sea of consciousness" or simple just contemplation and pondering. Upon his entrance he quickly recalled all of his skills and started familiarizing all of them at once and is complementary skills. This continued until the sky turned dark and still continued up until the first light of the day, the next day.
Opening his eyes, instead of tardiness he instead felt comfort and accomplishment thus he got out of his dwelling and gone out to look for some food.
Plucking some fruits on the nearby tree, he gobbled the food and gulped a big mouthful while thinking of his discovery.
Titus found out that when a skill is obtained it does not make Titus actually 'executing' it and more like of 'learning of how to execute' it through 'feeling' just like in school were your P. E. teacher being the 'skill obtained' teaches you PUSH UP and tells you to do push up until you can execute it perfectly after respectively (same thing applies to spell books or skill books just to get it out of the way) . In the end, it is still a matter of learning and not like in games when you obtain a skill you can just execute it.
Excluding the executions he made with synchronization, all are pretty much the same.
Authors note:
Well this chapter is pretty laid back for two reasons; one is that the day I wrote this was my birthday and was feeling laid back hence the influence and second is its the 'beginning' ehem* refer to title to the real story unfolding without more delays as I feel that the foundations are already sturdy for the time being.
Also one last thing. I specially made this chapter to act as a scapegoat of mine instead of just plain plot armor. As for what? You folks already know...
