Year 2126 C.E. Federal Republic of Japan

I was just an ordinary child living in my relatives’ house in Tokyo, Japan. My previous name was Christian Kizuo in this timeline. I was four years old when both of my parents died in an accident and the severe trauma caused partial memory loss. Some of them told me that my father was a Filipino-American working as a Chief Engineer of an American Industry residing in Japan while my mother was a military soldier ranked Captain of Self-Defense Force.

Well, they lived together in a big house in San Francisco, California, USA. According to what I still remember, both of my parents were weird and slightly dangerous, each having serious problems and numerous enemies. With this information, I concluded that their death was not an accident, but an assassination.

Certainly, I was transferred and lived with someone who proclaimed themselves as my relatives. As I got closer to them, it seemed odd that they seemed suspicious. The old man with a bald head name was Uncle Urie Kizuo and the woman with old-fashioned eyeglasses was Auntie Toki Kizuo. Both of them lived in a small condominium in Tokyo - one of the busiest and populated cities in the world where big opportunities will come to you if you're dedicated to working hard to become a future success.

They treated me like their own child and gave me everything - an education, livelihood, and parental guidance with pure love. I have nothing bad to say about them, only that they were good to me. However, every good time has its end.

Six years later, my uncle got deadly sick - stage four lung cancer. He wasn't so smart as to not smoke at his age, but I thought that he was surely safe from that kind of illness. He was always being warned by Auntie Toki, but he didn’t listen. Well, serves him right for that one! When he was confined in the hospital for almost four months, the doctor who was personally assigned to him told us that he had only a month to live. "Say your prayers and prepare for his burial",he said before he turned his back to us. He simply put his hands in his pockets and walked away from us.

What the heck was wrong with that doctor? He just said those words without any consideration, uncaring to whether we would cry or go insane from the bad news. He could say it in such a normal way as in to say "we’ve done our best madam, but your husband has only a month to live." But what have you just done? He told us this terrible news in such a terrible way. This is not a film that would just readily finish your script for a simple task. Come on, just show some sincerity to my uncle’s wife.

When I saw Auntie Toki starting to cry, I held her hand and then I apologized to her. She hugged me so tightly that I felt like my eyes were going to pop out and then she let go of me. She then started scanning me and patting me with her eyes.

“You don’t have to apologize. This is not your responsibility to take, it was your uncle’s fault. Just smile, dear.”

Almost a month passed, the trees started to bloom their beautiful flowers. I walked around in the streets to relax my mind. At this age, I started to act like an adult to suppress my childish emotions and behavior. Thus, I didn't feel the emotions any kind of simple individual could have - hatred and sorrow. After the death of my uncle, my Auntie Toki started to drink a lot and smoked packs of cigarettes. Well, I cannot blame her for getting addicted to them, due to the fact that her beloved, loyal husband died and was buried.

I tried to change her by entertaining her, going outside with her and seeing movies, traveling to Kyoto to see the sights, and going to the beach to see the sunset like we used to do back then. However, due to her repeatedly making excuses, such as being hung over, tiredness and rigid, all of my plans failed.

When my Auntie’s clumsiness resulted in severe headaches, paralysis, and a sore throat, she got to a pretty low point and needed to be cured. Because she could not do anything anymore, I learned how to do the household activities by myself while taking care of her. After few years, I turned eleven years old, studying as a first-year high school student. Thanks for my outstanding grades, I was able to skip a lot of years in school. I was so happy back then when I was the youngest student among us. But I was the shortest young man among the male students.

To prevent being useless to my Auntie Toki, I decided to pick up some part time jobs. However, due to being underage, no small businesses hired me. Pitiful! But I didn’t give up, and searched for anything that could help my only relative.

At one point I tried to join some illegal groups, fraternities, gangs and even mafias by becoming their informant. Thanks to me being a useful human resource, I ended up becoming known for giving valuable information to every faction. They paid me double or sometimes triple my allowance of five hundred yen each month. Moreover, they gave me the title of ‘Little Deadly Kid’ because of my size and dangerous abilities. Sometimes, some of them called me ‘Boss Kid’ to give respect for my achievements.
