Year 2134 C.E Somewhere in Chiba, Tokyo City, Japan
“Hey pal, did you see that guy in the street? I think he is a high school student. Are you thinking what I’m thinking, pal?”
“Yeah, it's money time. Come on, let’s put that brat on his knees and get his money."
He tries to bump directly into my right shoulder, however, I dodge it with a side step. He got angry and started to yell at me. He keeps telling me that I bumped him and didn’t apologize from that point. Actually, this kind of event is not new to my current knowledge. Bump into someone to get them to apologize, then, if the victim did that, the thieves will keep you in the corner and insist or ask you for money. If the victim didn’t give the money, they will use force you to give it to them. It is like a robbery in my own perspectives. What troublesome fellows!
“Huh? Just shut up, old man. You piece of shit. Just do some handiwork and use your body to help yourself. You have a big muscular body, so you can handle that too. Be a good citizen of the country, do legal works to avoid being a useless human resource.”
“What did you say, kid? You fucking idiot, you got some sharp mouth to say that, huh? Pal, it is time.”
“Hehe, sorry kid. You’re a big talker. We're going to rip your bones into pieces and then take your things.”
“Hihihi how? Hahaha!”
These two useless creatures didn’t know who they were messing with. I asked myself if I should give warn them. However, it seemed like a good experiment if I do that in front of them. They are my first lab rats for this trick.
“What are you laughing at, kid? Are you getting nervous hence you started to lost your sanity?”
“Do whatever you want. Hit me if you want. You’ll regret it soon.”
“Son of a bitch! You dare to insult us? Let’s do it pal.”
“Yeah!”
I kept my cool and hid my deepest affection. My mouth was going to burst open laughing because I couldn’t take what would happen to them. I can’t stop myself from smiling and slightly covering my mouth because of my giggle.
The gunshot was heard around the place. The two criminals were shot down through their heads and died on the spot. I just laughed so much that I knelt down and beat the floor with my hands when I saw them in that situation. Afterwards, my bodyguard called me.
“Boss Kid, you may proceed to your home safely.”
“Hmm, thank you for your help. I’ll tell to your boss to double your salary today. Good job.”
“Thank you very much, Boss Kid.”
After the call ended, I walked, while whistling happily, to my house.
Three years later, I graduated from high school at age fifteen. The sad thing was auntie didn’t attend my graduation ceremony to put my medals around my neck, nor give me my high school diploma because of her illness. But the good news is that I retired as the informant of each organization.
I started my college life at Tokyo University taking the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. One of the reasons for choosing this course was because I was planning to work in the government to become a public servant. According to my dead uncle, there are a lot of benefits from getting into the government rather than working as a dedicated employee in a private company. Almost no regular employees become rich from working in private companies.

By the way, I used what I saved from my previous occupation. Thanks for my allegiance to the syndicates I was able to easily enter the university without any problems. I thought college life was easy when I was a freshman but when I became a sophomore, it suddenly changed. Major subjects are so difficult to deal with, even I study well the results are still the same. I always got below seventy-five percent and the worst sometimes zero. Oh my gosh, I thought it would become easy like what I did to my high school back then.
The subjects became even deeper and harder to fight back on. But thankfully I graduated even my grades is miserable. Well, grades aren't that useful in the real life, it was just a tool used to motivate us to do our best. In my own perspectives, I just wanted a diploma to make my Auntie Toki proud of me. However, her illness attacked the day that I wanted her to be there the most.
Likewise, she didn’t attend my college graduation, commencement, or dedication. Such misfortune.
Nightfall, Somewhere in Tokyo, Japan
While walking to my home, I saw a shadow jump from roof to roof of each house. Its red eyes glowed at night. I follow the unknown creature to where it would go. However, I lost sight of him.
“Damn, he's too fast. What kind of creature was that? Hmm, what was that light?”
When I looked at the red light, I got nervous that my feet would move automatically towards the place. I prayed that it was not what I thought it was. As I got to the location of the place, I saw my home burning together with the neighbor’s houses too.
“What the hell is happening? Why my home is burning? Where the hell is the fire department?”
I tried to call the fire department and even the police department, however, my phone died due to low battery. At the time like this, this thing gets useless when it is needed.
“Auntie Toki, hold on! I’m coming for you!”
I ran to the backyard and doused my whole body using the water in the garden. I then crashed my body in the glass door to gain entrance. I tried to search for my auntie in every corner of the house but she was not there. The upper wall of the house was starting to fall and the smoke it released covered the whole area, which hindered my vision. I laid down and started to move like a worm. It was too hard to breathe, hence I performed the basic fire drill that my school taught us in a case of fire.
I didn’t see my aunt in the lobby thus I decided to go on the second floor of the house and go to my room to save anything that I could still salvage. The fire kept growing larger than before hence I have no other choice but to get out the place. After that, I jumped out the window and luckily dropped into the bunches of our garden.
“What the hell is really happening? Why did this disastrous event happen on my best day? I’m so sorry Auntie Toki, I couldn't save you. I’m so sorry. What was the point now of the achievement I got? I didn’t even save the only person who is the only reason for my life. I’m so sorry, Auntie Toki...”
Just then a loud scream was heard, tightening my nerves even further. I released myself from the bunches and took a look to where I heard the voice coming from. I was stunned and frightened when I saw all of the citizens were getting killed and eaten by unknown creatures. The whole town I lived in was under attack by these strange things. The sky in the night was turning red and the place was turning into hell. The police who were coming to help the situation were getting destroyed by these evil creatures. Blood of the victims splattered around the area.

The creatures have green colored skin with two red eyes glowing in the dark. They have sharp teeth, long poisoned claws, and big muscular bodies. They are also fast runners with a speed I can’t even follow in my sight. I can’t do anything but watch the people becoming a dinner in the feast of the monsters.
One of them spots me and starts to run. It moves fastly towards me and I didn’t realize it was now behind me. When I notice his presence it is too late to run, it is going to stab me with its claws. I accept my fate by closing my eyes.
However, the sound of slash of a sword surprised me, Auntie Toki shielded me by using her own body. She started to vomit some blood from her mouth. Her body is starting to lose some blood. The monster who attacked me was beheaded.
My aunt is holding a samurai sword in her right arm. She is looking at me with pitiful eyes. I was shocked when I saw that I was covered with her blood. She puts down her weapon and her right cups my face. She then smiled at me satisfactorily.
“I’m so sorry, Chris, for everything I have done to you these past few years. I just couldn’t live happily without your uncle. I felt guilty for everything that you did to help me to recover in those days. I’m so happy I’m seeing you grow independent, brave, skillful and strong person. You got your eyes from your mother. My cute younger sister back then.”
“Auntie Toki, don’t talk right now. I should call for ambulance or police to save you. Please don’t die. Please.… don’t you ever die and leave me alone.”
I slowly released her from the claws and lay her down carefully on the ground.
“After all, you grow up such a good boy my dearest Chris. I don’t think I could even live with you forever. Look my heart is destroyed by its claws and it has a poison too. There is no way I could be saved.”
“Don’t say those words, Auntie Toki. You’re gonna live. You’re gonna live. Be optimistic and don’t lose hope. There is a way to save you.”
She gets something out of her pocket and gives it to me. It is a picture of mine when I was a kid together with my parents and an unknown drug tablet. I notice that there is a kid beside me in the picture.
“It is time for you to remember everything. Sorry to keep it a secret. Please drink the medicine. It would take effect after ten minutes.”
I drink the medicine she gives to me. I don’t know what kind of drug this is but this thing was from my aunt that I couldn’t reject. I don’t know what kind of secret she is hiding from me but I don’t care anymore. More importantly is to save my auntie from her suffering.
“I don’t know what are you hiding from me but I don’t like to see you suffer like that. Please tell me what to do, Auntie! Please, there is a way to save you right?”
After this, she spurts blood from her mouth. She then looked at my eyes and smiled at me.
“Christ. May I see your diploma?”
My eyes are starting to shed tears when I realized it is our last moment as a family. I show to her my diploma and when she receives it she smiles at me happily.
“Congratulation Chris.”
“T-Thank you Auntie Toki...”
Her pupils in her eyes turned black and opened widely. And there is no breath nor movements in her body. I closed her eyes and embraced her even though the claws are near in my body. I thanked her for everything.
After a few minutes of mourning the monsters are all behind me. I started to laugh crazily and lose my sanity. I believe I won’t be able to survive this time.
I picked up her samurai sword and pointed it towards the monsters. I saw some helicopters coming close above. It has the symbol of a big blue moonlight star with the horn of a devil. When I take a look at the body of the dead monster who killed my aunt, it has the same symbol. It says something, ‘Federation’. Now I understand the meaning behind this tragedy. I heard a lot about this evil organization. According to international news, the Federation is a newly-formed international organization that terrorizes the whole world. In past two years, they conquered Central and South America, South-Eastern part of the United States and even most of Africa. They ended the government and independent sovereignty of each country such as Brazil, Chile, Mexico, and others.
Now, they used some new biological weapons to destroy this country. What a dirty bastards? Killing innocent people in order to win. Unacceptable!
The helicopters started to drop Federation foot soldiers around the city. Currently, I’m facing a big crisis. The monsters are still in front of me but they didn’t even try to attack almost a minute ago. Maybe because I held a weapon and saw their kind is killed by this. I started to go back to my own sanity for a sudden.
“Go for it you bastards! Kill me if you can!”
The monsters started to roar and become strong after that. At one glance, they are in front of me for almost one meter from my location. I closed my eyes again and felt that my body is splatter again with something wet. I take a look and amaze when I saw a man wearing a black battle suit with a samurai sword killed the monsters instantly.
After a few seconds, the medicine I drank finally takes effect. I felt dizzy for a few seconds and started to remember everything. I finally recalled that I have an elder brother from my childhood life. His name is Simon. I’m not alone anymore, I’m a Michael son of the mighty Our Michael and Michelle Kizuo. My elder brother is five years older than me. My parents were killed due to fact that they were one of the aces of the United Nation and one of the most wanted in the list of Federation.
The man in the black battle suit started to run wild and killed all the monsters in a blink. Those monsters who stand in his way were all beheaded, slice into pieces and didn’t even take any chance to attack due to his incredible speed exceeding the limit of a normal human. After a few minutes, he wipes out the entire company of monsters in the town.
I look above the sky and the self-defense force modern jets are destroying the invader's helicopters. The military with heavy tanks came to our rescue on the ground. One of the officers went to him to report.
“Sir Michael, the biological weapons are all wiped out. Thank you for your intel.”
“No problem. Don’t bother too much.”
Sir Michael? Don’t tell me you’re my elder brother Simon Luis Michael. I started to shed tears and looked at my aunt’s dead body. I’m no longer alone again. Thank God I still have a family to love.
“Big Brother!”
“Hmm, great she gave you the medicine. It is not difficult to explain everything. Nice to see you again, baby brother.”
After a few years, my brother entered me in War College in Quebec Australia to become a real soldier. I honorably accepted the faith of being a useful human resource for the sake of humanity. I promised myself I would bring down the Federation and end their madness. To bring peace and freedom in the whole world.
In the year 2162, the United Nation declared war against Federation that started the long massive, expensive and brutal war in the history of mankind - World War 4.
