“Very well you may leave” the King ended the meeting and Vel exited the door.
While the king was sitting there a man dressed in black silently appeared behind the King.
“Nathen that kid has talent” the man said in deep hoarse voice.
“Does this mean you’re are taking in a disciple at long last, old friend.” the king looked surprised since his friend never took a disciple before.
“We are getting up there in age and I want to pass my group to someone capable and I think I found him” the man replied.
“Are you sure because when I asked before about taking in a disciple but you shouted ‘never will I take a student’ or something similar” the king chucked at the memory.
“Don’t bring that up” the man felt embarrassed.
“So, when do you want to meet him” Nathen ask.
“Let tomorrow so we can start training straight afterward” the man said before he left unnoticed.
“Talent as an assassin” Nathen grumbled when his friend left.
The next day the king summoned Vel but when he arrived he saw a man in black standing next to the king.
“Vel this is my friend Zen and he going to train you” the king said which put a confused face on Vel.
When Vel looked at Zen his face went to confuse to shocked as when he looked a message showed up.
Name: Zen
Age: 60
Rank: Grandmaster Assassin
This was the first time Vel seen another assassin since the ones from the dark guild couldn’t be counted as assassins.

“Boy who taught you” Zen asks.
“A man named Leigh” Vel said as it wasn’t an uncommon name in the kingdom.
“Then who taught you to use Ki” Zen asks since it more powerful than most adults.
“My master Jotol in blacksmithing before he died” Vel replied.
“Good I really found a talented disciple” Zen smiled.
“Nathen we’re off and will return in about seven years” Zen said picking up Vel and vanished into thin air.
“Seven years” the Nathen mumbled since he has to tell Zelly.
Vel and Zen traveled for about a month before they arrived at the base of a mountain.
“Where are we” Vel asks since Roars of monster could be heard from the mountain.
“The mountain called ‘Death Monster’ as the lowest ranked monster recorded here was rank B and this is our training ground for the next seven years” Zen said with slight smile.
“Your’re kidding right” Vel asks since they could see a dragon flying around the top of the mountain.
“Well this should speed up your revenge a bit” Zen said.
“How do you know that” Vel looked at Zen.
“Well you did leave bodies on your way to the capital with the same pattern and with a little digging I tracked you down and you just confirmed it” Zen gave slight smile.
‘He got me’ Vel thought as he realized he just admitted it.
“At your current pace at which your training it would take you about 15 years at the fastest but you would need to live that long” Zen said.
“How would you know if I’m going to live a long life or short one” Vel grumbled which entered Zen ears.
“You will be caught and you have been taking too many unnecessary risks and becoming impatient when taking out your target” Zen said causing Vel to groan as he knew he was right.

“To reach the top and battle the ‘Dragon God’” Zen said as if it a walk in the park.
“You’re kidding right” Vel beg for him to be joking.
“Of course not if it not hard how can it be training”
“It extremely hard” Vel shouted at the top of his lungs.
“Let get started” Zen said picking up Vel and throwing him into the forest beginning their seven-year training.
-Castle-
“Zelly, Vel went to train with uncle Zen and will return in seven years” Nathen said.
“He left without telling me” Zelly burst into tears as she got attached to Vel extremely quick.
“It be ok you can punish him when he comes back” the queen said causing Nathen to feel pity for the boy.
“Ok, he better be prepared for his punishment” Zelly said.
‘Vel you have such tough road ahead of you’ Nathen thought as he watches the two sadists work.
