Late at night on top of a building, a figure of a boy can be seen looking over the guard’s post. The boy is Vel looking at his target that he been following the last two days learning his routine and planning his attack and escape plans.

“It about time” Vel thought looking at the moon that has reached its peak.

“Oh, there he is” Vel watched as his target walked out leaving for the night. When Vel was following him the last few days he learned that his target always leaves for the night at midnight but never goes home but to a brothel with the money he earned from bribes during the day.

“Once he enters the alleyway is my chance to strike” Vel thought as target always follow the same route to the brothel.

When his target entered the alleyway he suddenly stops and shouts “You who been following me come out”.

“Did he caught me following him” Vel started to panic as his plan not heading in the direction it was supposed to.

“How did you know I was following you” a man walked out of the shadow with a grin and a knife pointed at him.

“Gut feeling” the guard captain gave him simple answered which seem to anger the man.

“You have betrayed the organization so you have to die now” the man charges him striking out which make Vel see that this man a professional.

“Oh, you seem to have some skill” the captain act calmly but had cold sweat forming on his back as he knows he not getting away unharmed.

The captain brings up his sword and parries the knife and stabs towards the man. The man sees his attack didn’t work and leaned to the side barely dodging the sword. When both of them notice their attacks missed they backed up knowing this man well experienced and well trained.

What they didn’t know was they were being watched. Vel who was watching this was gaining experience in fighting and getting to know his opponent skill.

“Give up and die” the man shouts charging forward bring out another knife he kept hidden surprising the captain causing his left shoulder to be stabbed but he swings his sword.

“Swish” the sword hits the man neck causing a line to form across it.

Knowing that he survived the captain sat down and began to do first aid on his wound so he doesn’t bleed out on the way to the hospital.

After he tied off his self-made bandage that roughly made a shadow is cast over him and what he sees is an eight-year-old kid with black hair and red eyes looking at him.

“Help me get to nearby doctor” the captain ordered him before he felt something enter his neck causing his sight to go black.

Vel who just kill him a human felt sick and stubbled away trying not to throw up what he ate for dinner.

“No wonder Leigh warned me and began to teach me a way to cope with this” Vel said making his way back to the warehouse. But when he passes by a window he noticed that his eyes turned red and his hair was black and little had a little bit more handsome but he knew his hair is brown and eyes were blue colored but also his looks were average.

“I got to asked Leigh what’s going on” Vel who was filled with questions decided to ask what going on with his body.

“Ding, Host has completed his first mission: Kill Guard Captain Chris” The system sounded when Vel entered.

“Oh do I get some reward for completing it” Vel asked Leigh who appeared next to him.

“You got ten experience point” Leigh laughed.

“Only ten points” Vel said as he felt it was a low amount.

“Ten points is a lot already considering he was small fry and besides after you killed him didn’t you fell your body strengthen” Leigh said surprising Vel.

“yeah I did and why did my looks changes so much” Vel realize he forgot his reason for being here.

“Oh, that it's going to be your looks in the future as the more you grow as an assassin the more you transform but currently only your eyes will turn red when extremely angered and your hair darken little bit” Leigh explained as for why his body beginning to change.

“That reminds me there was another man there trying to kill the target do you have an idea what going on” Vel asks.

“Well there two possibilities here he is either from an organization or he was hired to kill him” Leigh said.

“Well before they fought he said that the captain betrayed their organization” Vel said as he remembered their small talk before they fought.

“It doesn’t really matter where he came from as it doesn’t affect you in any way and it doesn’t matter if he was targeted by other assassin or not” Leigh gave him advice about not to dwell into pointless things.

“What if the organization comes after me” Vel worries as he knows he can’t take on an organization with his current strength.

“Were you seen?” Leigh asks.

“I don’t think so”

“Then nothing to worry about now its time for training” Leigh said and the space around them transform into training field.

“What the lesson this time” Vel asked.

“Martial arts training as you know anything can become a weapon in the hands of a well-trained assassin” Leigh said begins to demonstrate movements of punches and kicks.
