《Plan Failed Succesfully》Chapter 10: Job Well Done

Ah, I went and done it.
No matter how it looks, it seems more like a slaughter rather than a friendly match well even though in name only. Well, I got no choice since it is my first time feeling something in the last few months, especially this feeling of euphoria is more addicting than I thought.
At least I won, right?
"Match is complete, will you leave the battlefield ?"
"Yes."
I step out of the virtual machine, I saw a large group of people waiting for me in front of the door along with major general Ronald. Seeing their expressions just as expected, they didn't like my work.
Well, it comes to this, then it is time to use the ultimate line that saves every kind of trouble for me. Just like usual, I saluted towards general and spoke.
"Major General Ronald, as your order, I showed the strength of the Galactic Government to those freeloaders."
Yep, if anything goes wrong, blame your higher up since they the ones who gave you order, so I am just doing what directed nothing else. This one of the advantages being low ranked, since if do your thing correct and get blamed then, just shove it into your boss.
"What!"
"As an expected old veteran from 3 anti-collector champaigns, Ronald, you really know how to teach those barbarians."
"Heh, I never forget those pig's faces."
"Yeah, those nobles from newly joined planets going overboard lately."
People began to compliment major general Ronald while others started to chat with each other. From the group, I found all kinds of high ranked people from all kinds of a field then, I saw a small cute girl dressed in a dress and lab coat walking towards me.
"Greetings, captain Wera, I am princess Bernice from planet Fiora. May I ask a few questions."

"Sure."
Bernice? Fiora? What a familiar-sounding name maybe this previous Wera had friends like her?
"How do you feel when you kill a person in that match ?"
"It's nothing special."
"Cause it is just an illusion ?"
"No, just nothing may be a little bit of satisfaction ?"
It felt good when I dodged those bullets and pullet out that kind stunt.
"Then d-did you killed in real life ?"
Why is your voice shaking?
"Yes, quite a few, if I count, it would be more or less than 30."
Well, the previous Wera did it though but right now, I am Wera so makes me a killer since technically I killed them.
"W-why, d-d-did kill it ?"
"Yeah, there must be something right ?"
"Something like revenge maybe ?"
Why all of you begun to enter our conversation? Also revenge?
How in the fuck woman like Wera would kill someone due to something honorable like an act of revenge?
You doofus as someone who read the novel halfway I can say in absolute full of confidence. The bitch killed them cause she wanted to feel superior or just plain jealousy with a sprinkle of sadism but if I say it like something like this then there is a high chance that I kicked out from the army.
"There is no hard feeling like revenge or jealousy. I did it cause I could."
"And the reason why I am here cause I wanted to counterbalance my wrongdoing by killing the enemy of everyone. Isn't that sound like a perfect plan? "
Yep, neutral answer that doesn't deny nor will show them me as some kind of monster.
Yeah, self-high five!
"She is nuts!"
"Yeah, there is something wrong with her ?"
"Does augmentation do something like this to the human mind ?"

Aaaand now why all of them became silent and began to slowly move away from me. Did I mess up with the answer?
Maybe I should immediately go as a joke route and show more emotion as one appears on soap opera. I should smile and play along as a joke and leave become things escalate.
I should use a cute smile with a 70-degree head angle as I saw on shojo shows.
"Hiih!"
"AAAH!"
Why are you screaming didn't seen a special effect smile?
"Heh, in the end, it is just a joke you don't have to take that hard from just common ex noble like me. There are many people like me around entire galactic I just choose to be more open."
"Now excuse me I need to prepare more for my deployment in a few days."
With my charming smile, I went past the crowd then I noticed a small hair clip with a golden rose on Bernice's golden blonde hair who is walking in front of me with her bodyguard.
Seems like she already left when she finished hearing all of her answers.
Wait a sec Bernice and golden rose ?!
Oh, no wonder why her name felt familiar. She is Bernice Whiteroad and little sister of Adonias Whiteroad or Adonias Whiteroad De Vale Fiora the first male lead of My Love For The Star novel.
A typical cold-hearted type of male lead that usually ends up open his closed heart to a female lead and began to insanely dotes on her.
If I remember correctly he should meet a female lead while vising my homeworld Karn to take his sister but why her sister in here ?.
I don't want her to mess up the plot by happening something before meeting with the female lead. The good thing is she now alone with only her bodyguard.
So I walked back to Bernice and warned her.
"H-hey what are-."
Before her bodyguard is do anything I immensely pressed a few of his pressure points making him unable to move a muscle.
"W-ha!"
"It is a simple technique nothing dangerous thing will happen to you or your princess."
"W-what do you want!"
Bernice said while trying to act tough but her whole body said the opposite thing. What a cute child.
"Princess Bernice, I answered all of your questions now allow me to warn you a thing. This is the orbital station that moving extremely close to an area that about to turn into a battlefield."
"So I warn you, princess Bernice. Leave this station while you can before turning into an unidentified body along with this station and cleaned by some garbage disposal withought anyone ever know."
Now time to use that convincing cute smile.
"So leave this place right~"
You gotta cherish your life unless you want to die like me.
"...."
I take that as okay. With moments later I saw the princess and bodyguard leaving this station with their private ship.
'Job well done.'

Homeland
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER -- In Cory Doctorow’s wildly successful Little Brother, young Marcus Yallow was arbitrarily detained and brutalized by the government in the wake of a terrorist attack on San Francisco—an experience that led him to become a leader of the whole movement of technologically clued-in teenagers, fighting back against the tyrannical security state.A few years later, California's economy collapses, but Marcus’s hacktivist past lands him a job as webmaster for a crusading politician who promises reform. Soon his former nemesis Masha emerges from the political underground to gift him with a thumbdrive containing a Wikileaks-style cable-dump of hard evidence of corporate and governmental perfidy. It’s incendiary stuff—and if Masha goes missing, Marcus is supposed to release it to the world. Then Marcus sees Masha being kidnapped by the same government agents who detained and tortured Marcus years earlier.Marcus can leak the archive Masha gave him—but he can’t admit to being the leaker, because that will cost his employer the election. He’s surrounded by friends who remember what he did a few years ago and regard him as a hacker hero. He can’t even attend a demonstration without being dragged onstage and handed a mike. He’s not at all sure that just dumping the archive onto the Internet, before he’s gone through its millions of words, is the right thing to do.Meanwhile, people are beginning to shadow him, people who look like they’re used to inflicting pain until they get the answers they want. Fast-moving, passionate, and as current as next week, Homeland is every bit the equal of Little Brother—a paean to activism, to courage, to the drive to make the world a better place.
