《Lord of the Red Castle》Chapter 21

After the treaty was signed, the delegates of the kingdom of Leon left Vartica.
But this did not create a time for relaxation for either Doran or Albert. On the contrary, there was much to do and build in the newly formed kingdom. The wall to be built in the passage, the Parliament building, and the constitution were among these.
Materials for the construction of the wall were already on the way, the remaining Parliament building and the Constitution were a little bit looking at Doran's handling of events.
“I think we should select members of parliament before construction is complete. That way we'll be more comfortable,” said Doran, and leaned back in the chair.
They were in the study as usual.
“Is the Constitution ready?” Albert had learned more or less about this system after long conversations with Doran. A parliament could be formed with members and nobility while the parliament building was built, but for this they needed a constitution.
"Almost done. If there's something you don't understand or want to change, now is the best time to do it. Father.“Doran took a scroll from the storage ring and held it out to his father.
Albert took the extended scrolls and began to read. His facial features were changing with what he read. When he got somewhere he stopped and lifted his head.
“This clause will not please the guards.”
"Which one?" said Doran. He more or less guessed the answer.
Albert began to read what was written on the parchment.
“Article 77: Every prisoner is innocent until proven guilty by evidence. And the prisoner has no obligation to clear his guilt.”
“Yes, things will get a little harder, but that way, the chances of someone innocent being punished will be pretty low.” said Doran.

“From what is written here, it looks like we need a lot of departments to run the Kingdom” said Albert, tapping the parchments with the back of his hand.
“Yeah, I wanted to talk about that too. Currently, there are no qualified people to work in these departments. We may need to make a few changes to the academy that Maverick will open.”
"Like what?"
“When I examined the academies of the surrounding countries, I saw that they were only made to train Mages and Cultivators. We can also teach social sciences courses in this academy. Those who graduate from here can start working directly in these departments.”
"Yeah, good idea. We could arrange a place among the Military Officers. General Werber was complaining about the poor training of new officers."
“Huh, speaking of general, what do you think of this article?”
“No military man can serve in the Parliament, but after retirement, they can be admitted to the Parliament.”
“It's always good to separate the military from the politics. Even if the current generals are loyal to Vartica, we cannot allow anyone to gain more power than is necessary.”
Albert nodded in agreement with Doran's words.
“Okay, let me examine the Constitution in more detail and then we'll talk again. You also need to talk to Maverick about changing plans for the academy. I'm sure he'll be happy to have you involved in the planning. He's been going crayz with this academy business for the past few days.”
Doran realized that they had come to the end of their conversation for the day. "Okay, I'm leaving, then." said.
“You have five days until you come of age. We'll have the wedding the day you come of age. Did you talk to Ashley?" said Albert.

“Yeah, don't worry. huh. Father, I need to talk to the tailor of the castle. I want to prepare something special for Ashley.”
After Doran got his father's approval, he left the room.
—-----------------------
Albert put the constitution aside after reading it from beginning to end.
He took a deep breath. What he read was absolutely shocking.' This boy will put me in the grave.' he thought.
He got up from the table and came to the window of the room. He began to think about the consequences that might occur if they enforced the constitution. Although He didn't say anything while Doran was in the room, this constitution was breaking many unwritten rules of this world. It gave every human being basic rights, and that was very dangerous. If people in other kingdoms started demanding these rights, they would be in big trouble as the kingdom that started it.
“I guess I should get a little stronger for the things he wants,” he muttered and smiled.
Although the ideas in the Constitution were dangerous, they created a growing excitement in him. The rules and laws of the world have been the same for thousands of years. One reason for this was the longevity of the Cultivators, and the ruling group generally belonged to this long live span group.
This constitution could send a shock wave that spread across the world.
—-----------
“What will you do with my measurements?” said Ashley.
Doran and Ashley had gone out to the courtyard of the castle to have some tea.
Ashley had settled in the castle after the delegate left. She was excited about her new life.
"I'm preparing a surprise for you for our wedding," said Doran mysteriously.
"Oh I'm curious now"
“You'll have to wait if you're wondering, oh by the way, what did you do with my mom?” Doran said.
After breakfast, Elizabeth took Ashley and went somewhere. Doran wondered what they talked about.
Ashley blushed when she heard Doran's question.
“Female issues,” she said.
“I guess I'm not the only one keeping secrets,” he said and smiled.
"Are you sure you don't want a big wedding? I don't care if you're the main wife or not, if you want we can have the biggest wedding in Vartica."
Marriages other than the main wives were usually small and unpretentious, but Doran wanted to get her opinion because he thought it would be unfair to Ashley.
"No no, everything is fine."
"If you say so."
"I have to leave now I need to meet with Maverick, see you tonight." Doran pressed a kiss to Ashley's lips and walked away.
Ashley, on the other hand, stood still and looked at the thief who had walked away laughing, the thief who had stolen her first kiss. Then a smile formed on her face.
Due to my exams, I will take 2 week break, See you guys soon!
