《Azura the Slayer》Chapter 17: Empire of Sibir

After Wilhelm released his victim and really looked at her appearance. His eyes suddenly widened. ‘H.. How is this possible?! She looks almost identical to her! It can’t be though! She died 100,000 years ago! She also never had descendants! No.. No.. It can’t be.. It must just be a mistake.’ Wilhelm was extremely shocked, she looked exactly as the person he had read about in the ancient scrolls he read.
Azura was also inspecting Wilhelm and saw his reaction. She saw the shock, terror and awe in his eyes. After another minute of this staring competition his eyes regained their composure, once again staring at a little girl and not a divine god.
Wilhelm stroked his beard as he turned to Amelia. “Your friend is very good! Of course it’s only my granddaughter that can make good people friends!” He laughed as he bear hugged the two girls. It seemed that everyone in the family had a habit of doing something, whether it was pulling or hugging.
After releasing the girls he took something out of his bag, which looked very small but Azura knew instantly it was ‘Bag of Holding’ with the holding space of a small house. “Here, this is something I found on one of my adventures about five hundred years ago. Take a good look through it.” Wilhelm handed it to Azura as if his life depended on it, and in his mind, it might.
Azura looked at the old, yellow, aged book. It looked familiar to books in her previous world. “Thank you.” Azura thanked him and went back to her bed to go read. “Ok, let’s go, she needs to read that!” Wilhelm did not want to interrupt her if she was her.
Azura watched as they exited and opened the book. The first chapter was named, Empire of Sibir. Azura shook. ‘How did this book get here?’ She was extremely shocked, how did the book get here from her universe, the God had told her that she would be sent to the furthest universe possible! She quickly continued reading it, becoming shocked beyond imagination.

After her sudden disappearance, her brother took over and began attacking and integrating the neighboring empires and kingdoms that she had raided. It took 90,000 years to control the whole universe, it took hundreds of generations to conquer the universe, but they did it. Yet, her brother never forgot her, neither did his descendants. She is the empire’s Immortal Empress. Her brother gave her that title so incase she ever returned, she could take back the throne no matter who sat on it.
After 9,900 years, the empire discovered another universe, it took them 50 years to build the technology to enter it, and finally after 99,950 years, the empire had a new universe to conquer. This planet, Solvit, is the first planet that they are spreading their influence to. They are not attacking with the full empire’s force because it takes a lot of energy to travel between universes.
Azura’s face was wet. It was the first time in her long life that she cried. She had always thought that she would be forgotten, but instead of being forgotten, she was known by everyone in the empire, even known as an Immortal Empress.
She turned to the last page and saw a picture of her holding a sword and dressed in armour. She remembered the raid where the picture was taken, it was the raid where she had gotten the record of the highest amount of heads taken.
She closed the book and left her room. For telling her this news she would take the old man under her wing, along with any family he has.

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.
