The wooden floor creaked and groaned as the ship rocked in the wind. A tall lean man, dressed in black leaned against the wheel, peering out from behind his floppy black knit beanie. His eyes peared at the horizon, dried blood smeared across his arms.

Skill gained! Eagle eye lvl 1!

When this popped into his vision, he was quite surprised. It had been a while since he had gained a level but after he had slain the wyvern that had attacked the ship, he was finally Lvl 10 Prince. He wasn't sure if he would lose his class or ability to level when he was forced to leave the kingdom. While his status naturally slid by most peoples vision, most just saw him as a soldier.

It was his Cursed of a Fallen Race title that lead to his Exile title. He was blessed with the his legendary title upon his birth. He was the first they had seen recieve the title. He was also gifted with a curse, that was left with no explanation. When he told his parents about his title, they were elated. He just happened to keep the curse part to himself. He didnt tell anyone about it except for his now ex best friend Lucas Manalink Noble lvl 12.

Reglar was a very large island covering a million miles of forests. Hundreds of beasts had infested the terrain around the underground bunker. They had to collapse the original entrance after a team of adventurers breached their dining hall, ending in their quick demise. The exit was a maze that only the royal family could navigate. Jackson knew that when he was deemed unfit and exiled, his father knew he could find his way back.

The sale of demonkin blood required an exhange with the Avarack Elves of Reglar. About a century after the demonkin went underground, as the demonkin slaves aged, the Nort mages created a ritual to make slave collars. The Norters were excited to get rid of thier pink and blue skinned demonkin for magical voluptous and sculpted Norter elves.

The Avarack Elves of Nort had named themselves because they used to grow thier homes from Avarack tree seeds. Avarack trees are incredibly dense and incredible building materials. The tribes of Elves' became subjugated under the crown of the Nort kingdom because of the appearance of the breathshroom in their villages. It chased them from their homes for decades leading up to their enslavement and escape. Their children began being born with the racial trait Major poison resistance. And not so coincidentally, as their villages began to crumble, the demonkin began to die off.

It happened slowly. First they enslaved the tribe leaders who couldn't pay their increased taxes. Then they returned and took the strongest. This continued until all that was left was the old, sick, older women, children and men with trade classes. Some of the younger ones escaped, dressing as humans or disguising themselves as old and sick. As this was happening families began moving East to the abandoned Reglar. Talah was never an option as it had never been known to be friendly to other races.

The families who saw the signs were the first to charter a voyage to the deserted villages on the Eastern island of Reglar. They began populating different parts of Reglar, claiming each land, growing new cities with their magic. Unlike the demonkin, the elves were able to defend themselves once they knew the dangers. The lands they occupied were now above the demonkin strongholds. They knew the demonkin inhabited the lands but few knew how to reach them. And sometimes the demonkin liked to trade.

Finding a demonkin trade with was always a profitable event. Either they recieved demonkin blood or horns for a trade, or they just took the demonkin to sell to the kingdom. Although they knew the demonkin blood made the collars that enslaved them, a single demonkin could be sold for enough gold to last two lifetimes. Titles were granted to whoever bartered the trade. Trading for the demonkin was a taboo subject. They liked their luxuries lke every other race. The King even liked his Reglar dwarven made whiskey. Luxuries came with risks. The king refused to recognize or support these risks. It was quite the hypocrisy.

Demonkin couldn't impregnate other races. They also couldn't expand the size of their bunker. When the humans of Nort began enslaving the elves some came with their slave collars still active, able to endure the pain until the ritual of undoing could be complete. The ritual was just demon blood being applied. The towns made a celebration out of it. It took demonkin blood to undo the collars, but unbeknownst to the elves it also took demonkin blood to activate them. The elves actively hunted the demonkin so they could unshakle themselves. They didnt realize their mistake until they found the ditch of broken collars empty. Their coexistance was volitile.

When the collars were fixed and the blood was applied, an elven brothel was installed in a new section of the keep under the dungeons. Each room was lavishly furnished like the kings own very chamber, except for the manacles at the head and footboards. For the first hundred years the princes and princesses would kidnap the prettiest maidens and handsomest men and trap them in the brothels to be shared at their leisure. After years of service and the elves deemed too old, if they chose to leave they would be blindfolded smuggled and released near a randomly picked city with enough demonblood to support their familes for life. As the years passed, the Spellheart family who helped run the brothel acquired a Procurer class stone from the tunnel connected dungeon.

Class crystal: Procurer Rare quality stone created to locate intended target. Boon granted! Charisma +1 per level! Skill granted! Persuasion lvl 1! Crush to absorb class and begin your adventure.

Soon the brothels were expanded and they became open to the public and the elves began to notice their people go missing. Adventurer elves would actively hunt the elusive demonkin.

The Avarack Elves found that pain resistance could keep them alive with the collars for three years without their masters. Some elves would trade a bastard son or daughter to unlock the rest of the families collars. Some brave elven farmers and merchants would choose the trade, in dire need of the blood for a collar. With elven trade came Reglar whiskey from the Reglar dwarves. With the above ground distance between the Southern Bunker and the Dwarven mountains, trade was the only way to get the stuff anymore. And with the poison tolerance of the elves, they only traded with the dwarves for the good stuff. Many trades like this happened, and sometimes the blood found ran full circle back into the Nort hands.
