《The Journey to Godhood: A Madman's Dream》Ch: 5

A week had passed and nothing much happened. My new mother was crying herself to sleep like usual and my father came back from work like a zombie.
Aiya, it was rather heart breaking, I'm not an heartless person and these people are my parents after all. Well, whatever someday I will talk and then they are gonna shit their pants. It was difficult to play the mute, I had to be on guard the whole time.
The greatest time was breast feeding time. I must admit it was the best time of the day.
"Thorus it's time for you milk."
Hohoho, yes indeed it was time.
She put out her mountain peek to engage in a sacred act of breast feeding.
The moment my mouth made contact with her breast there was a roaring sound inside my head. I sucked like a madman.
The sacred juice made its way down my throat, this was better than those flavored milk I drank as a kid.
I couldn't deny, I was trying to distance myself from my family. My mother however was making it difficult for me. Her providing with life juice was not the only reason. She was so loving, she didn't once raised her voice. Not even when I smeared shit all over my room to act like a retard.
After the breast feeding process ended she carried me to my room. I had my own room, I didn't sleep in the same room as my parents.
My mother took out my toys for me to play.
"Look this Mr.. Teddybear. Say hello."
Hello, I'm mute.
Well she was trying so hard so I pretended to be happy.
"Sophie I'm back."
"Roland, we are here."
My father came with a white robed elder behind his back. He had a long white hair and a long ass white beard. He was like a character out of a chinese kung fu flick.
"Who is this?" My mother asked.
"Allow me to explain. I'm Zell Outy, I'm from the division of healers from the order of light."
Joy spread on the face of my mother.
"Does this mean my son can be healed?"
"I don't want to promise, but I sure can have a look."
"Yes, please do so."
My mother put me on my bed.
The elder put his hand above me.
"Oh light, have mercy on those in need. Heal."
A white light coated his hand. A warm feeling spread through my body. So this was magic, I can't wait to cast magic myself.
"Did it work?" My father asked.
"Hmm,. Let me try another spell."

"Oh light, have mercy on those in need. Remove Condition."
The elder sighed.
"I'm sorry but there seems nothing wrong with this boy. Healing magic doesn't work."
"How can this be." Tears welled up in my mothers eyes.
"Don't worry dear, we will find a way."
"We have a school for people like your son. You can admit him when he is two years old. We have experience with handling cases like your sons. It will be beneficial for him, we also experiment with various magic to make the children normal."
"Really? There is such a thing?" My father asked.
This school sounded suspicious, it sounded more like a concentration camp for unwanted children. They even used experimental magic on children, my parents had too much faith in these white robed hippies.
"I don't know, will it be really a suitable place for Thorus?"
Finally someone with common sense, I wouldn't trust a guy who went by the name Zell Outy.
"What is there to worry about my dear, the people of light might be the only ones that can help our son."
"I can understand your worry Miss, but it is unfounded we are the leading people when it comes to curing illness, even if can't heal your son our special classes will allow him to cope with the world."
"You speak reason elder. Dear, let's give it a try. There is nothing to lose."
I didn't like where this is going.
"You are right, it is for the best I guess."
"Good, good. You people are good parents that only want the best for your child. You made the right choice, there is no better place for your son to be."
"We thank you great elder." Both my parents bowed slightly.
Why did I had to be so stubborn and refuse to make some sounds. I could have avoided the whole situation.
Well maybe there will be big rewards, they say that with great rewards came great risks. So I didn't wanted to blow my cover.
The elder left and with that my carefree life. I had to get strong as soon as possible. Who knew what they'll do to you in the school. Maybe I'll become a test subject or worse my ass will be sold. Aiya, strength, I need strength.
_ _ _
It was night time and my parents went to sleep. I rolled out of bed, since the bed was not high I didn't take any damage. Looking through my toy box I put out various items that seemed of value.
There was a genius magic wand with a red crystal also a blunt sword could be found. I like it, it seemed like my parents want me to pick either of those. My father was a swordsman and my mother a mage after all.

Since I have the power to convert things into something I desire, I wanted to try it out. I was still an infant and unable to walk due to my weak legs I needed strength. A pill that enhances my strength without gaining muscles seemed to be a wise choice. Also enhancing my mana pool and magic seemed like a good idea.
I took the wand and tried to convert.
"Convert this shit."
Nothing happened. Well that was to be expected.
"Oh spirits of whatever.Converticus."
Hmm, my chanting was top notch yet nothing happened.
I closed my eyes and sat down. After a while I could feel a power inside of my body, this must be mana. My mother told me a lot about magic, she was keen on brainwashing me into becoming a mage.
She said that every one had a mana core were mana is produced. There were different types of mana, each had a different attribute. There were fire, water, wind, earth, light, dark and neutral magic.
Everyone was able to cast neutral magic since the grey colored neutral mana is in every living being.
Most people had one attribute, neutral magic excluded. There were cases were one had even two, these people were considered geniuses. Three attributed people were stuff from the legends.
It was time to find out my attribute. Concentrating on my mana core a tiny ball of mixed colors showed up.
Holy crap, it was six attributes, I had an affinity with all elements. I was overjoyed but not much since it was an expected outcome.
In the next two hours I tried to control my neutral mana inside of my body. Since I was a genius that comes once a millennium I had already established a basic control of my mana.
I should try to convert the magic wand.
I stretched out my hand and imagined the strength pill while I directed my mana. My mana left my body to coat the wand. The magic wand shined changing its form. After a short while a black pill as big as a pea formed.
Tiredness washed over my body and I shat my pants with great force. The diarrhea exploded out akin to a thunder clap.
My vision turned blurry and I was about to lose consciousness. Before that I managed to eat the pill.

"Thorus." A worried voice woke me up from my deep slumber.
"Oh no, what happened to you."
I was feeling good, no I was feeling awesome. I guessed that the pill worked.
My mother toke me into her arms, she was about to cry.
Cleaning up my shit, she talked about how I must be more careful.
I once had overheard that the only reason I was allowed to sleep in my own room was to grow up independent.
If they were so worried they shouldn't allow for such thing but I was glad that it was how it was.
I had underestimated my mana consumption. I guess it was too much for my infant body to handle.
My mother sat me down in the living room while she prepared breakfast in the kitchen. My father was still asleep.
Using the opportunity I tried to stand up.
It was working. After a few shaky steps I was walking. I could feel a great deal of strength.
I tried to jump, my body took of like a rocket crashing against the ceiling.
I panicked fearing that my mother heard that, but she was still humming in the kitchen making food.
This was to much I almost made a hole in the ceiling. After a few minuets I could already control my strength and I was doing back flips all over the place.
"Good morning dear." My father woke up.
I needed to act normal quick so I took out my diaper and threw it around.
"Ah, Thorus you are quite lively in the morning, good."
After breakfast my mother fed me with some milk, the best time of the day I must add.

It was night time again and an other uneventful day passed. I think it was time to head to the forrest to test my strength. Logic dictated that there were fierce beasts, the perfect place to test my strength.
I took out the blunt sword and converted it into a sharp little dagger. I was not as tired as last time since my mana pool and magic was enhanced. I also converted my bed sheet into a black robe with a hoodie. The robe had no special abilities since it was converted from plain bed sheets.
After taking a little break I was ready.
I jumped onto the window ledge, opening the window I leaped out.
Looking around I could see no people. Our house was rather isolated from the rest. It seemed like I was living in a village.
Since no one saw me I was a bit relieved.
I didn't hesitate and headed to the Forrest.
