《DK (Dropped)》Chapter XVIII - The plot armor is great in Slumbering

Once again I was underground, making my mind feel so relaxed.
"This is so fucking relaxing!" I shouted to myself, in a status of ecstasy.
(Before I forget about it, open skill tab!) I commanded in my thoughts.
Suddenly the tab appeared, showing everything that I made so far.
(Start Weak Shadow Minion!)
Weak Shadow Minion ETA: 3 Hours
"Now that I confirmed that the wasps are truly my allies with command vision, I think I should get a shadow minion to check out the west since going into that direction might be suicide, even with a 20 wasp escort."
With that part done, I closed the skill tab and rested.
At some point, I thought for a second to rise up, but then, a strange force made me not do it, it's like that feeling you have when you wake up after your most perfect comfortable sleep, and the only thing that you wish, is to not leave the bed.
(I think this should be enough to prevent those blackouts for some time.) I was thinking that maybe those blackouts where because I had spent a long time out of my grave.
Finally, I decided to open my vision and returned to the surface.
Like a tiny earthquake sound, I rose up from my grave.
The first thing I saw were the two wasps at the entrance, armed with what it seemed to be spears, followed by three wasps who were on my right side, using bunny blood to make sure the drawings would not disapear.
At that moment, the five wasps froze as they simply stared at me.
(Are they expecting something? Or is it just shyness?) I wondered in my thoughts as I stared at them (Anyways, I will simply wait, it is already good enough that they have not been wiped out while I was resting!)

Five seconds later, one of the wasps at the entrance turned his back to the outside, he appeared to be signaling someone only to turn his face to me again.
(I wonder where Cleopatra and the Generals are? Giving them the three red cloths was worth the trouble, as it seems, I wouldn't be able to tell them apart from the young wasps, well, with the exception of the obvious scar that Caesar has on his left eye!)
In the end, the only different wasp of their race, were queens like Cleopatra as they had a bigger abdomen compared to the rest of the Hive.
A few seconds later, a group of wasps entered the Hive.
It was being led by two wasps at the front. Wich had red cloths, one with a spear, the second one had a scar and two swords.
(Something happened while I was gone, I am seeing too many spears!) I saw that half of the group carried a spear.
The two generals sat down on their usual places in front of me as the rest of the group did the same behind them.
As they were more close, I noticed the details of the spears. (Oh! Those spears are not like the first two?)
While the first two spears were made of wood and both had an iron tip, these new spears had tips of wood.
(In the end, they look like oversized toothpicks to me! Oh wait, the size difference, looks more like an arrow to me?) I was huge compared the weapons that were made for people half of my size.
Suddenly, Caesar broke the silence.
"O Great White God! We hope that you took a fine rest, please be at ease as we did not slack while you were in your slumber!"

(Ragnar) "Yes! We have hunted, trained and taken care of our young for three days! Those with the wood tip spears were turned into warriors after getting our approval!"
(Wait a second, did he just say three days? I slept for three fucking days?!? No, wait, I went at sleep at midday, he said three days, that means I slept for 2 days and a half?)
"Tell me, where did you get those wood tip spears?" I inquired the wasps.
"Great DK! It was Leonidas idea of using the tree branches of the huge trees!" (Ragnar) "Please don't worry! He did not cut any of your trees down! And I am sure that everything we used will grow back eventually!"
(I don't really mind about the trees, but it is good that they worried about me caring about trees in my land!)
"Good, that way you will have plenty of wood tip spears without spending the forest trees!" (DK)
Even so, these spears were not much of a deal, it looked like they were very easy to break.
"So, I assume that no Arach attack has happened yet?" (DK)
"Fortunately, not yet!" (Caesar)
(This is very weird, there should be any kind of enemy movement by now right?) I wondered what was the reason for such ignorance from the Arach to this Hive.
"Please do not be afraid of what comes next!" I warned the wasps.
(Come to me, Weak Shadow Minion!) I shouted in my mind as I rose my right arm.
Slowly, a dark shadow appeared between me and the wasps, it looked like a black spirit, with two red eyes that seemed to be made of pure blood.
The wasps were surprised by this new creature as most of them showed fear to it.
(Amazing! I can see trough the shadow minion's eyes!)
"Go scout the western forest of this valley at once!" I proudly commanded.
The shadow minion nodded and immediately flew away, heading west.
As it disappeared, Caesar asked me. "W-What was that? Great DK!"
"Just one of my servants." I casually informed him.
Everyone stood silent.
(Was that little thing really that scary?) I wondered what would happen if they had seen the next level of the shadow minion.
"Well, it seems its almost supper time." (DK) "Should we call everyone, so we can all eat together?"
The thought of eating bunnies completely erased the shadow minion appearance from Caesar's mind.
"Yes! Excellent idea Great DK!" Caesar shouted with joy.
The rest of the waps in the room also agreed, so Ragnar took a few wasps to call everyone and fetch the food.
(It's time to check on everyone, nothing like a big meal to do it!)
Meanwhile, the shadow minion was already exploring the middle of the western forest.
Suddenly, it heard several noises.
(It seems the shadow minion can also share what it ears to me!)
(Follow those noises!) I commanded it.
As the shadow minion got closer, it was better to identify the noises.
(It sounds like barking, scratching and owling? Also a mixed of bones being broken?)
Finally, the shadow arrived at the commotion.

A Castle in a Teacup
One might say that to anger forces beyond the ken of fragile breakable mortals is a bad idea, others might say that meddling in dark forces with little chance of gain is also a bad idea, they would both be right by on all counts but they forget to mention also how incredibly stupid combining both of those things are. Stupid people don’t last so long on the mystic side of things, normal folks who wander over to the other side have a tendency to do one of two things, either A. figure out that the best thing to do is keep their head down and not draw attention from any entity that refers to humanity as “you mortals” , or B. something horrifying happens to them. As you may have guessed I fell into the second category, mostly because I thought there was a third option. See I though there must be an option C, an option where I got to end up not as some shitty back ally wizard cowering at the chance of discovery, praying that one of my wards or spells wouldn’t be noticed by something that goes bump in the night. No I would be the one who rose above all that. I would never have to be afraid. Well I made a good attempt at it that’s for damn sure, but unfortunately for me it turns out there is not an option C. At least not for me…
