Kuronagi's vision clouded as blood lost made his condition worse. Ashe was now running towards him as he shouted her.

"Ashe! Run!"

As he said that, she glared at him as bis condition was getting worse. She saw Kuronagi panting hardly as he wouldn't last longer. The monster that appreared was a dragon. It had red scales as his breath spew fire. The draon was roaring tbat made all of tbe animals in the forest feared him. Kuronagi gripped his sword as his red eyes almost lost color. Ashe didn't listen to him as the dragon had change it target to her.

"Kyaa!"

Ashe scream as the dragon was charging towards her. The dragon had hit the wall Kuronagi made as he used his remaining arm. He taunt the dragon.

"Your enemy is me. Com'on!"

The dragon had went towards Kuronagi as he casted many spells to the dragon. Ashe tried calling out Kuronagi as she was trapped by the wall he made.

"Kuronagi! Kuronagi!"

Her wails did not stop as she tried to slice the wall. The wall started to break. She kept on breaking the wall as Kuronagi grew weary. He has been fighting the dragon as many injuries and from the blood loss since 30 minutes. As the dragon prepares his final strike, Kuronagi followed.

"Lets go!"

*Roar*

The two charge each other as if this was the final strike to decide the battle. As Kuronagi jumped at the dragon, he aimed at the dragon's neck as he jumped. The dragon had ripped Kuronagi's remaining arm as Kuronagi use his mouth to slice the dragon's neck.

As Ashe had broken through the wall, it was already over. The dragon's head rolled towards her as Kuronagi was standing. She quickly rushed towards him as she was shocked. Both of his arms were gone as he stood unconscious. His eyes were dead as he just stood.

"Kuro...nagi...?"

When she touched him, Kuronagi feel down. She quickly use magic to restore his injuries but she couldn't restore the arms as she cried.

"Why...why did you help me?"

"..."

She kept cursing him as he smiled. Kuronagi knew that his life almost end as he said something to her.

"Pl..ease...be...my..fri..end..."

As he said that, Ashe was surprise at his words. They just met and he willingly sacrifice his life for her. Her heart kept on beating as she smiled at him.

"Yes..."

"I'm...gl..a..d..."

Kuronagi close his eyes as Ashe held onto him. Her cried had reach Liliana and Mika who was at the forest.
