《Lucid Dream》Chapter 7: Loli Goddess is as scary as normal children

I woke up in melancholy. A new day, still no world ending cataclysm yet.
I went out to buy breakfast, appreciating the mundane life after yesterday event.
I decided to adopt the little girl, Sofia Bruno considering she had lost everything dear to her. The child was young, only about 5 years old but she was way smarter for someone her age. She knew her situation and accepted my offer.
It was perhaps better to bring her to an orphanage because what can an university student know about childcare, especially one that had gone through such tragedy. However, I had already become a new spiritual pillar for the girl after I rescued her that day. No matter what, she refused to leave me, and for the life of me I could not stand her trembling small frame when we arrived at the orphanage.
My second uncle looked at me funny when I brought home not one but two lolis. Luckily, he did not ask questions, summing it all up to Mutants things. How his mind work was still a mystery for me.
Well, I need his help if I wanted to take care of them. We were currently living in one of his many properties afterall. I just cannot casually bring two little girls back to my dorm room, can I?
By the way, I told my parents I had found a babysitting job so that they will not blast me with nonsense about bastard child or something like that. Temporary solutions, but I had to make due.
Today menu was Pho, much to the girls delight.
As expected, Sofia cannot speak English or Vietnamese. The only way I can communicate with her was through Nami and her universal translator.
Speaking of the little Goddess, she was as odd as a deity went. Despite being I-didn't-know-how many-years old, she still had the mentality of a pre-kindergarden kid. She said it had something to do with her escaping her tiring jobs by jumping straight into the River of Soul and reincarnated somewhere random in the multiverse.
And like every other child, she was pestering me for ice cream right after breakfast, which I strongly refused because it was not good for the stomach.
After the uneventful breakfast, it was time for me to uphold my duty as a glorified poop-collector and walked the dog, Grizzly, according to her Majesty divine decree.
I met another cannie friend of mine, Marcus, on the way and walked him too.
As I watched the two girls having a great time at the park playground, I inquired Marcus about yesterday incident.

"We had him locked up in a Mutant Max Security Prison even though it was not necessary. You broke him good man. What did you do to him anyway. He keeps muttering something about nightmares, monsters and turtles of all things." He reported a bit creep out.
"What about the fallout?" I asked, not minding the jab at my method.
"We managed to keep it under the rug considering there was no witness. However, the UN was not happy, the Elementals are also pressuring us to release the bastard. We ignored them of course, but they are moving south. I think they are after you man." They never knew when to stop, didn't they? For a long time the Elementals had been arrogant jackass who think they were the shit.
"What about the Royals?" Last time I heard they were knee deep in war.
"The Royal Legion were barely holding on. You think some mass produce enchancements can content with millenia old monsters?" Make sense. Despite getting their ass kicked by the Werebeast, they were still the oldest orginization in the world.
"They want war? I will give them War. Call the boys. We strike next week." I declared. I took out my phone to call my uncle. Times for our Mutant squad to make a debut.
I had to take a break though. Trashing that mob Zues was more tiring than expected. For an old piece of turd, he sure was quite durable.
-----
The Elementals had sent an elite army, about 200 men strong. There was about 50 mutants in midst. Marcus brought his body guards of a dozen Werewolves, 3 Werebears and 5 harpies. My man consisted of 20 mutants of various power. We were currently laying in ambush at the northern border wilderness, where my trusty information broker predicted the assholes would go through. I had to fork out 500 mil for this so they better be here.
"Sir, there was movement, 1 kilometres North, heading straight toward us." One of our scout reported, his name was Thien I thought. His power was Vision, which was the mutant version of Byakugan. He was also our resident sniper.
"Finally, I had been waiting for hours." Said Marcus, the most eager to kick some Elementals asses.
"Let's start with a bang, shall we?" I signaled for my bomber, who carried the power of Exxxxplosionnnn (with exactly 4 x and n, achivist were weirdo).
A massive blast shattered the ground right in the middle of the approaching army. The Teleporter appeared next to another group carrying 15 kilograms of C4. Cyclop wannabe also swept the forest with his laser eyes. All of our long distance fighters open fired next. The rest followed up with guns.

The initial strikes was super effective. The enemy was about 50 guys lesser. Our bombardment continued until a simmering ice barrier block most of the firepower. The Elementals bastard returned fire with iceshards, fireballs, lightning strikes and all kind of projectiles. We knew we had lost our advantage so we send in the melee. The Werebears who were both stronger and much tougher than the Werewolves, were our vanguard, I joined in right after, bulldozing our way through squishy targets. The Werewolves split into two to assault their flank, the harpies harrassed the power users in the air. My men attacked in their own way.
We were outnumbered but we had ME.
A colossal robotic dinasour tore through mutants and soilders alike, shooting laser out of its 6 eyes, beathing fire out of its massive maw. Yes, it was I, Kaiju version.
I had my fun rampaging until the confusion was over and concentrated elemental power hit me like a wrecking ball.
They sure are the elite, the Elementals bastards quickly orginised their formation and started to counterattack.
I transformed again into my Grim Reaper form. Bullets passed through harmlessly amd teleported to dodge the rest. I casted my dark magic, how I did that I had no idea. Now I thought about it, my power made no sense at all.
The foot soilders collapsed like puppet with their string cut, hit by the magic. Torrent of something green (again don't ask me) swept through enemy rank, leaving behind dry corpses. Ghostly hands sprang up from the ground, binding the mutants in place, some unlucky dudes got strangled to death.
The Werewolves also crashed like an unstoppable tsunami, shrugging off attacks like mere breeze. They focused on the Elementals, suppressing them thoroughly with their resistence skin and fur.
The battle quickly descended into a massive brawl, and boy oh boy were we good at it. Getting into melee was the only condition we need to win. Despite the easy battle so far, if we continued to stay at range a few moment longer, we would no longer have a chance at closing the distance. We used our strongest and flashiest attacks at the expense of a few of our men at the begining so that our main force can close in safely.
I hated to admit it but the Elementals was the best at long range battle.
I dropped my transformation. The Grim Reaper was good at dealing with normies but it cannot affect the natural energy within mutants.
I came face to face with the leader of this little expedition. He was a lanky guy, his frame marred with battle scars, a burning halo surrounded him, blocking off superpower my squad threw at him.
"I heard you are looking for me?" I taunted.
"Nyarlathotep!" Said the imbecile through gritted teeth. "The Elementals will not let--"
I cut his head off mid sentence with a bust of speed. I did not need to hear a dead man word. Talking to him was just a distraction.
"Beside, it's classic villian talk anyway." I mused quietly.
"What's that?" Asked Marcus.
"Nothing. How's your end doing?" I asked, though knowing full well that he being here meant the battle was almost over.
"We are cleaning up the mobs. This was easier than I expected." He said. I immediately activated my power the moment he raised the flag.
The burning hot sensation on my skin proved I was right. I blocked a massive ray of fire, the heat sizzling the air. The headless corpse I assumed to be very dead rose up like a badly made horror movie. The head automatically reattached itself with a very punchable smirk on it. So I did just that.
"I told you the Elementals will not---" the 2 bits T1000 said. I once again cut him off mid sentence and blasted his brain to kingdom come then burned the body thoroughly.
I observed my surrounding for anymore suprise. Indeed, a few Elementals I went out of my way to kill were nowhere to be found, the high ranking kind.
"Headless bodies wasn't suppose to do that." Stated Marcus matter of factly, although reality just hit him in the face.
"I don't know Marcus, but I smell trouble. Tell your father to pump up security, and watch that shitlicker closely. I may have to make a trip to the Archive." I lamented. The problem was getting into the Archive without raising an eyebrow. I didn't even know what or where to look in the Archive.
I just wanted a quiet university life for fuck sake.
