《CY》Entry no. 22

I hired a horse and went on my way back Lugrus city, I was going to go through Lost Forest again just so that I could cut the traveling time. I soon heard that the land around Oculus mountain turned into a scene of hell, they said the demon's number was small but all of them were elite warriors not only that, the demons also had stronger physiques which is one the reason why the Asgard army had a hard time dealing with them. The demons at Oculus mountain were all killed at the cost at least 300 men from Asgard City.
I heard continuous notification after I killed Margaret but I ignored it, since I was a bit bored I decided to check my status and found out that I've leveled up to 57... no new abilities though.
The lost forest was as gloomy as ever, I need to move before it gets dark... I want to get home as soon as possible. I traveled until it got dark, I've battled a few monsters but I managed to win so all is good. I set up a fire and leaned on a tree while Azazel leaned against me, I could only close my eyes and relied on Lilith to not let me fall asleep. Not getting sleep will take a toll on my mental help but I at least could rest even a little, the night swiftly passed without any problems and dawn soon arrived. I killed the fire and rode the horse before continuing on my way back to Lugrus, I managed to get out of the forest unscathed this time. Traveling alone really is quicker than going with a carriage, I saved a lot of time will reach Lugrus city after 8 hours of traveling.
I soon reached Lugrus city and found out that the adventurers everywhere had this weird desolate aura, I couldn't be bothered by them and quickly presented Margaret's head at the city hall. Everyone was shocked when they saw Margaret's rotting head, the receptionist even had to make a few calls before the supervisor inside the city hall inspected the head himself and finally recognized it as the head of Margaret the witch. It caused a commotion but I stood still and awaited my reward, it's what I'm here for. After a few more minutes, they finally gave me my reward and asked me to show my Guild symbol so they could award 30 guild points. I requested to make it private and whoever will award the guild points must never mention my guild, they agreed and led me to a room. I sat on the sofa, waiting for the person to award me my guild points, the door soon opened and a lady in a red dress came in.

"You are Zeno?" She asked
"Yes"
"Good afternoon, I am Astarotia. I will be the one to award you with the guild points"
'...Zeno, the woman in front of you seems to be infatuated with you, also, she seems to be covered by a huge amount of energy... she's strong, I can't properly scan or predict her strength and level' Lilith alerted me
'What?' she's powerful? is she perhaps the chief of the city hall?
"Hello Astarotia, may I please ask something?" I asked
"Please go ahead~" She sat on the seat beside me.
"Are you perhaps the chief of the city hall?"
"Close but no, I'm the secretary of the chief" If she's already that strong then how strong is the chief?
"Oh... I see" I could only force a reply
"Please... take off your robe" I saw her let out a warm breath
I took off my robe and showed her my back which was covered in DK's armor, energy gathered around her palm before she placed it on my back. The Aegis symbol glowed and floated out and expanded afterward, Astarotia brought out a scroll and opened it. The letters inside glowed and floated out, it read as 30 guild points, the letters merged with the Aegis symbol it returned to my back.
'Lilith, what happened' I asked
'It's the same as when you learned the new skill, [Illusion strike], the symbol of Aegis and the letters from the scroll emitted the same amount of energy before they mixed together and merged as one'
'Good work'
'Thanks'
I put back on my robe and was about to leave but...
"Leaving so soon? why don't you stick around a bit" Astarotia brought out a tea set and started making tea
"I'm sorry but I have places to be" I bowed and left

"Too bad~" I heard her say those before I closed the door
I left the city hall and soon arrived at the guild house, Lea was right there waiting for me at the entrance.
"So? what do you have to say for yourself?" She asked
"I deeply apologized but I am in dire need of money" I bowed
"...How much?"
"What?"
"How much do you need?"
"Just enough to buy me a land"
"Then how about 100 gold?"
"I'm thankful for your offer but I already have the reward..."
"I forgot that you succeded in your mission..."
"How did you know?"
"When a guild point is rewarded, everyone's guild symbol will start glowing for a few seconds before it fades"
"I didn't know..."
"Anyway, for you to kill an S class demon like Margaret, good job, but let me tell you something, don't get too arrogant because of this. Margaret is considered an S class demon but she can actually be considered a middle A class"
"I know, don't worry, my head won't expand because of this"
"Good, now come inside, Cynthia has been patiently waiting for you... also one of the members has finally returned from her mission, we can have a feast prepared for her return and your success"
