《CY》Entry no. 22

I hired a horse and went on my way back Lugrus city, I was going to go through Lost Forest again just so that I could cut the traveling time. I soon heard that the land around Oculus mountain turned into a scene of hell, they said the demon's number was small but all of them were elite warriors not only that, the demons also had stronger physiques which is one the reason why the Asgard army had a hard time dealing with them. The demons at Oculus mountain were all killed at the cost at least 300 men from Asgard City.
I heard continuous notification after I killed Margaret but I ignored it, since I was a bit bored I decided to check my status and found out that I've leveled up to 57... no new abilities though.
The lost forest was as gloomy as ever, I need to move before it gets dark... I want to get home as soon as possible. I traveled until it got dark, I've battled a few monsters but I managed to win so all is good. I set up a fire and leaned on a tree while Azazel leaned against me, I could only close my eyes and relied on Lilith to not let me fall asleep. Not getting sleep will take a toll on my mental help but I at least could rest even a little, the night swiftly passed without any problems and dawn soon arrived. I killed the fire and rode the horse before continuing on my way back to Lugrus, I managed to get out of the forest unscathed this time. Traveling alone really is quicker than going with a carriage, I saved a lot of time will reach Lugrus city after 8 hours of traveling.
I soon reached Lugrus city and found out that the adventurers everywhere had this weird desolate aura, I couldn't be bothered by them and quickly presented Margaret's head at the city hall. Everyone was shocked when they saw Margaret's rotting head, the receptionist even had to make a few calls before the supervisor inside the city hall inspected the head himself and finally recognized it as the head of Margaret the witch. It caused a commotion but I stood still and awaited my reward, it's what I'm here for. After a few more minutes, they finally gave me my reward and asked me to show my Guild symbol so they could award 30 guild points. I requested to make it private and whoever will award the guild points must never mention my guild, they agreed and led me to a room. I sat on the sofa, waiting for the person to award me my guild points, the door soon opened and a lady in a red dress came in.

"You are Zeno?" She asked
"Yes"
"Good afternoon, I am Astarotia. I will be the one to award you with the guild points"
'...Zeno, the woman in front of you seems to be infatuated with you, also, she seems to be covered by a huge amount of energy... she's strong, I can't properly scan or predict her strength and level' Lilith alerted me
'What?' she's powerful? is she perhaps the chief of the city hall?
"Hello Astarotia, may I please ask something?" I asked
"Please go ahead~" She sat on the seat beside me.
"Are you perhaps the chief of the city hall?"
"Close but no, I'm the secretary of the chief" If she's already that strong then how strong is the chief?
"Oh... I see" I could only force a reply
"Please... take off your robe" I saw her let out a warm breath
I took off my robe and showed her my back which was covered in DK's armor, energy gathered around her palm before she placed it on my back. The Aegis symbol glowed and floated out and expanded afterward, Astarotia brought out a scroll and opened it. The letters inside glowed and floated out, it read as 30 guild points, the letters merged with the Aegis symbol it returned to my back.
'Lilith, what happened' I asked
'It's the same as when you learned the new skill, [Illusion strike], the symbol of Aegis and the letters from the scroll emitted the same amount of energy before they mixed together and merged as one'
'Good work'
'Thanks'
I put back on my robe and was about to leave but...
"Leaving so soon? why don't you stick around a bit" Astarotia brought out a tea set and started making tea
"I'm sorry but I have places to be" I bowed and left

"Too bad~" I heard her say those before I closed the door
I left the city hall and soon arrived at the guild house, Lea was right there waiting for me at the entrance.
"So? what do you have to say for yourself?" She asked
"I deeply apologized but I am in dire need of money" I bowed
"...How much?"
"What?"
"How much do you need?"
"Just enough to buy me a land"
"Then how about 100 gold?"
"I'm thankful for your offer but I already have the reward..."
"I forgot that you succeded in your mission..."
"How did you know?"
"When a guild point is rewarded, everyone's guild symbol will start glowing for a few seconds before it fades"
"I didn't know..."
"Anyway, for you to kill an S class demon like Margaret, good job, but let me tell you something, don't get too arrogant because of this. Margaret is considered an S class demon but she can actually be considered a middle A class"
"I know, don't worry, my head won't expand because of this"
"Good, now come inside, Cynthia has been patiently waiting for you... also one of the members has finally returned from her mission, we can have a feast prepared for her return and your success"

The Power of Ten: Book One: Sama Rantha, and Book Two: The Far Future
(Author's Note: If you're wondering about the views, it's +1.8 million more on Webnovel, its original home. Updated daily starting Dec. 26, 2018, and continued with Book Three.) Some time ago, a planes-traveling archmage made up a video game to train some people on the planet Earth for the catastrophe he knew was coming. That game was the Power of Ten. The gods seized this opportunity to take the templates of some of those characters, and even their souls, for use in other worlds, and other realms. Sama Rantha is one of those characters, and is going to find out that being a Hagchild and having to survive after your Hag Curse fails to murder you at birth is much, much less fun than setting it as your Race at level One on a gamescreen. Join Sama Rantha on her Road to Ten, and letting her Hagmother know exactly what she thinks of her... ------ Warning: This book starts with a HARD OPEN! It was written as an extension of other stories that have not made it onto the Internet yet for National Novel Writing Month in Nov/2018. Book One/Sama Rantha: A traditionalist LitRPG in the fantasy world vein. The beginning chapters will be heavy with gaming terms and the supporting math as Sama exploits the rules as much as possible, minmaxing her heart out to get one up on the world trying to kill her. The math and rules lawyering tapers off, but are never eliminated, as Sama is going to do everything she can to exploit the rules of reality here and not die, while making sure those responsible for this get exactly what is coming to them... ------ Book Two, The Far Future (starting Ch. 286): The Warp, the final frontier; in the grim darkness of a galaxy far far away, there came a hagchild...QX! Sci-fi/Fantasy/psionics mashup, grimbright clashing with grimdark! Sama is sent into a setting she'd rather not be in, but the heart of a powergamer never says no, even in the crapsack galaxy of the Tellurian Empire. BOOK TWO IS COMPLETE WITH 357 CHAPTERS AS OF 9/2020. ----------- Book Three (updating daily): The Human Race (next Book!) - Urban Fantasy world. Three Power of Ten gamers come together in a world under the Shroud of the Cancer of Death. Whatever might happen when they do, and what might they find there? Book Three is complete with 500 chapters: right here. Book Four: Power of Ten is dumped into the Marvel Universe. Surely there'll be no changes to canon when that happens? A Fanfiction variant, with teeth! Dynamo The Original Sama Stories: Being posted at: over in this location. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Discord link: in zis location is always up if I'm online. Welcome dear friends, to the Virtual Reality Full Immersion System called Bookworld Online! Your name is David Drake and you are a 10 year old slave to the Marsh Hag. You were bought from your parents when you were only a small child at two years old. You don't really remember your old family at all. That's a good thing, since you would hate them on sight for selling you to her. All you've know for your whole life is pain. You are usually quickly healed and receive a lot of training and experience as her unofficial apprentice. It's unofficial because she would never pay to have you registered as an actual apprentice. To everyone else, you are just the boy she took pity on and brought into her home. What they don't know is that you are much more than that. So much more. You are her food. She uses you as her own personal buffet and she indulges herself quite often. You even have the permanent scars to prove it. You have learned many things from her, mostly without her knowing, since you have been helping more and more with her spell work the last few years and her potion making. The only parts you can't do are the magic condensing rituals that her potions require and the mana infusions that a lot of her other creations need. Do you wish to initiate the Main Storyline with these parameters? Please Note: I publish daily.Second Note: I changed this story to a fan fiction. It is based on Swamp Boy. The old story is about 4 years old and was dropped after 19 long chapters. The author hasn't been online since then, so I figured it was safe to do my own take on it.
