《CY》Entry no. 5

I entered my room and what I saw was a simple bed, a chair, a table, and lastly a closet. It was simple but was enough for one person. I went to lay down on the bed and read small book, the rules were simple
first: we must do our best to contribute to the guild.
second: we won't do anything that will cause harm to the guild and it's members.
third: if you want to leave the guild, notify the guild master
fourth: During emergencies, we are all required to work together
Those were it, all that's left on the book were an explanation on how the guild was founded and the past guild masters. I didn't really care so I just went to sleep, I've got to conserve what energy I have left. The next day we were called in the guild canteen, food was free but the food was like military food, tough and tasteless. After Cynthia and I had our fill, Marcus came to get us and led us to the guild hall.
"Alright you guys here are the new members!" I heard Lea's voice on the other side of the door before it opened.
"Hello guys!" The first to greet was a female elf, she had a slim body, briaded hair and a very bright personality. Her weapon of choice is a bow.
"....Hey..." beside the elf was a young woman who wore a hood that covered her head, she was reading a book and seemed like she can't be bothered. she looked like a "dark magician" from the old database.
"Oh! fresh meat!" a burly bald man quickly sized me up, this gave me the shivers.
"Oi, Uncle Fujo, please don't scare the man" a young man with a handsome face and a rapier quickly stopped the bald man from looking at me any further.

"The elf's name is Liralei Greenwood, that unfriendly woman beside her is Ella Ray, and that burly man is Shi Fujo, although everyone calls him Fujo, lastly the man with a rapier is Rick Roil" Marcus introduced everyone to us
"Good morning everyone, my name is Zeno Abbadon, due to some circumstance, I cannot reomve this helm and show my face" I introduced myself and apologized at the same time.
"I am Cynthia, Zeno is my master" Cynthia's introducted herself.
"There should be 3 more but they all went on a mission" Lea spoke
"We really want to give you a little feast for joining our guild but we're a little short on funds so we'll have to postpone it" Liralei said as she gave me a small pouch
"what's this?" I asked
"It's a little charm~" she said as she skipped back to Ella
"Thank you" of course I never forget to say thanks
"Okay, that's enough, let's all go back to what we were doing and let the newbies pick their quest" Marcus said as he pushed everyone
I walked to the quest board and most of the quests were either subjugation or escort quests the highest was D class. Quests were differentiated by class, the higher the class the more difficult the quest it. The highest class is SSS while the lowest is F.
Here are the difficulty levels:
SSS > SS > S > AAA > AA > A > BB > B > +C > -C> -D > D >E > F
The rewards for the quests on the board was a bit low but it should be enough so I picked a simple subjugation quest.
{
Goblins have been spotted near our mansion. My daughter usually killed them off but she's away because of her job so there's no one left to kill the goblins, at first I wanted to wait until she returns but the goblins kept increasing at an alarming rate

Kill 50 Goblins
Difficulty: +C
Reward: 5000 silver coins
Job given by: Maria von Dutch
Location: Dutch Mansion
}
5000 silver coins is a very kind offer
The currencey of this world is Gold>Silver>Copper>Bronze
1 Gold coin = 100 Silver coins
1 Silver coin = 100 Copper coins
1 copper coin = 100 bronze coins
I took the quest and went to Marcus so he could approve it but he gave me a weird look and said
"Are you sure you can do this? this is 50 goblins you know"
"Don't worry Marcus, we can handle this" I was a bit confident with my abilities
"But-" before Marcus could finish, Lea stopped him
"Don't worry Marcus, have some trust in our newbeies"
"If you say so..." Marcus stamped on the quest and wrote our names
"Let's go" I beckoned Cynthia
We left the guild and headed for Dutch mansion.
"Are you really sure? The Dutch family are you know..." Marcus asked Lea
"Yeah, a military family. Don't worry we'll follow them and observe, that Zeno is someone I can't trust just yet... his background is a little shady so a little investigation is needed." Lea spoke
"So you had this planned all along" Marcus spoke
"Come on" Lea said as she grabbed a sword and a shield before leaving through the backdoor

I'm Always Talking to Myself
My name is Zach. I’m a typical bland featureless protagonist type. The kind of guy who has purposefully few defining characteristics so that people can project whatever they want on me. Like Luke from Star Wars or what’s her name from Twilight. Most main characters are like me. Kind of flavorless blank slates because we all secretly doubt that we’re Harrison Ford, but pretty much anyone could be Mitt Romney. Yep. Yes indeed, I do spend basically my entire life running an internal dialog to no one. Usually I’m imagining that there are people listening. Like maybe philosophers from Ancient Greece, or researchers from another planet who act suspiciously like the characters from that Instagram comic with the aliens. Stupid Instagram comedians stealing my internal monologue and turning into a wildly successful enterprise which I would imagine has a vibrant merch dropshipping arm and hundreds of thousands of daily dopamine hits for loyal followers. I basically spend all of my time explaining random things to imaginary people (and aliens, and animals, and household items which have inexplicably gained sentience and frankly have some concerns about this whole existence thing). Honestly, it’s both highly entertaining to me, in that it makes me think about why we humans do all of the bizarre things that we do, but also horrifically exhausting and kind of makes you feel like you’re either, worst cast, losing your grip on reality, or best case, becoming Abed from Community. Anyway, I’m sure that I have some distinguishing characteristics, but, in the interest of hypnotic suggestion I’m choosing to omit them until I’m pretty sure that you have subconsciously come to identify with me, or until I feel like it. (By the way, in case I forgot to mention it, a higher power called Aww Thor or something told me to say that this is a slice-of-life comedy adventure and that it's set in a fantasy world with isekai and LitRPG elements.)

In order to protect the home he has grown to love, Beau must travel out of Hattan and journey to the Middle Islands to seek safety among people loyal to his father that he has never met. He must put his trust in Nasila and a hired warrior named Gavin with questionable motivations. His cousin is the only person he can truly trust, but he must take a chance and put his life in the hands of others if he plans to survive. ***This is the first long-length writing I have ever undertaken, and I wish to get some critical feedback. I am not professionally trained as a writer but I have tried my best to teach myself and make the chapters as clean as possible. I believe I have reached a point where my limited skills cannot improve the work or make any more corrections. It is very difficult to show this work, but if I do not, I fear I will never improve and learn. So here it is. To anyone who lends the time to read all of this and any of my chapters. Thank you.

[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)
