Chapter 0009
Sylphie, Erica and Leviene decided to split up searching the city for clues. It was a surprise when all of them got +1 to wisdom for their decision. Leviene figured they could cover more grounds separating although the looks Sylphie and Erica were giving each other bothered the Perrian Let.
The three girls decided to put off trying to figure out the status bonus they got and instead focus on finding information. Other players might announce in general chat if or when they find something but the three girls knew they can’t depend on other people.
If it wasn’t for the map and the internal compass the game provided, Leviene would have gotten lost a thousand times. She have no sense of direction. The short Perrian Let admit it to herself. In front of other, she’d deny, deny, deny. She has some dignity.
Her lack of spatial awareness was one of the many reason Leviene don’t wants to play first person shooter games, although a lot of her family tried to engage her in the game. Oh have they tried though. Have they have tried.
Boom, headshot.
Boom, headshot.
Boom, headshot.
After a wall of boom, headshot appearing on her screen the first couple hours Leviene played first person shooter games, Leviene gave up. Her brothers claim she was a great asset to their team, but the young girl got tired of playing bait or defense. It was not fun.
Leviene went north, Sylphie south and Erica east. They would come back to the coliseum and explore west together. The city was design in a circular fashion with a white marbled tower, 20 to 25 stories high at the center. Ledges stick out on each floor, allowing for easy access to private residence.
The tower is a giant condo. Leviene got a “Would you like to purchase an apartment?” message when she entered the lobby of the tower. The poor and broke Perrian Let ran out of the towers so fast, trails of fire were created by her skid marks.

In a game Leviene once played, there was a skilled call [Blazing Trail] where fire emerges behind the mage. It is one of the spells used to kill mobs running after a weak mage.
The spell exist in this game. Definitely. The fires behind Leviene is part of the spell. Yes it was. Death to the naysayers.
Surrounding the tower are the shopping districts. Armour shop, gear shop, potion shop, various restaurants, taverns, bars and the most important shop of all, the auction house. Leviene flagged the AH on her map and continued her exploration. Off to the corner was the mount district. The penniless Perrian Let drooled over their tiger land mounts, armour charger, unicorns, bears, and oooh is that a pegasus? Griffon? Dragon? Prices? Nothing she could afford, yet!
The greedy player dragged herself out of the stables with great, great! reluctance. Hey, she never denied the advertising and increase in consumer spending agenda of the gamer developer didn’t work on her. It worked all too well. It’s why she is poor even though she play the game six hours a day.
Leviene noticed a block on the mapped encircled in red. Whenever she point over the area, it says limited access. Hmmm, curious. The more limited access, restriction, guards or sentry they have in an area, the more Leviene wanted to explore.
There are 3 entrances to the limited access area with no name. Leviene decided to take the direct route, but she had to make some detours as the area was well patrolled. Indeed, the area was well patrolled. It wasn’t because she had to take a right here and a left here and ah…. forget it. Area well patrolled. As she got closer to the area, the more Leviene notice more NPC loitering around.
The short Perrian Let watched the gate suspiciously. There were few guards at the door and the few that were there weren’t really interested in guarding the door at all. The guard themselves look like visitors to the area. Still… limited access area.

Looking around, the little Perrian Let a saw a group of NPC heading towards the door. Leviene walked in the area with the group, for once her smaller size gave her an advantage. Barely anyone can see the midget player over the top the giant NPC’s head. The NPC themselves took no notices of the new addition to the group, intent on going where they were going. Leviene’s advantage worked as a disadvantage as well. She couldn’t see beyond the press of bodies and wings. Once they gotten the main square, the groups disperse to various building of their choice.
Leviene should NOT have done that. For that matter she shouldn’t have come here in the first place. Encircled in red. That was a big enough clue to tell anyone with map reading skills what this area is!
The red light district.
The raunchy act of fornication was not limited to inside the building either. Bikini clad female stood on the windows, balconies and whatever surface available, advertising their wares. Those NPC into exhibition were copulating right there for all asunder to see. And is it even possible to bend that way during sex.
Leviene stood there like a tourist, gawking at the sights and sounds, trying to figure out if the sex position they were in was even possible. Now anyone knows people watching porn get arouse. Leviene like to say she was different. She wasn’t. She was, in fact, worst. That tail of hers reminded her it has a mind of its own though it likes to work in conjunction with Leviene’s subconscious instinct to fulfill a goal.
It also reminded the young human turn Perrian Let that tip has 3 flexible little claw? Fingers? Joints? And Leviene got to know how flexible it is as it worked over her sex organ. There Leviene was, a prime example of how someone can actually fuck themselves. She asked the deities if this can get any worse.
Good old Murphy’s law. If it can get worse, it will. “Hey you. This isn’t a place for a kid to act like that. Get out of here!” a guard yelled at the short Perrian Let.
He had to yell didn’t he? Embarrassed by all the stare she received, Leviene squeezed her thighs so her tail couldn’t do any more damage, and waddle slash ran out of the red light district. She didn’t care where she went to as long as it was private.

I am...*sigh* a speck of dust.
Hey, I'm...well, I'm not human anymore so I don't suppose that name matters. Anyway, just call me D. Why? Cause I'm dust. Not like, "Oh, no one notices me, it's like I'm dust in the air", but like..actually just a speck of dust. Nothing exciting going on, no action packed fights or cringey romances. Just...dust. I have a little system menu and everything, like all the 'OP' protagonists, but I mostly use it for the notes feature. Like right now. So, if anyone ever sees this, like, if the System stores it somewhere or whatever, just move along. Nothing special here.
