《Mother Dryad & Father Dragon》Chapter 13

[You're fortunate that your mother was able to heal you. During that little craze fest, you lost at least half of your health]
Hey, you were the one who encouraged me to keep going before changing your mind and becoming concerned about my health.
[I was torn between your mental and physical well-being. I knew you had to get out of there or you'd do something you'd later regret. I had no idea you were going to pull it with your hands like that. My role as a Little Helper is to provide you with information about the items and yourself. I have no idea what's going on in the outside world. You can either ask your parents or find out on your own. It's time to ask them now you've been in the unknown for a while.]
For the past hour, I've been lying on the ground pretending to sleep. Half of me was still afraid to confront them, while the other half simply enjoyed the sensation of grass. I could only lay on my bed or the hard floor for the first five years of my life. This grassy sensation is incredible. I want a small house surrounded by nature after I fix this whole world thing. I'm hoping that doesn't come across as a Druid thing. After all, I am half-dragon.
[Oh, for God's sake, just confront them!]
“Mother, father, I have some questions?” I quickly asked. My mother immediately raises her head and embraces me in her arms. I could hear my father wiping away his tears in an attempt to hide his embarrassment.
“Why did you do that, you stupid child?” My mother says as she rubs my back.
“I couldn't stand it any longer! Being confined in that room for so long! It felt like I was in a cage, and I couldn't help myself when I saw that light. I saw freedom and decided to take it.” I explained. My father's pained expression was visible, but my mother's expression was more curious.

“What do you mean for all these years?” She questioned. Oh my gosh, the words just slipped from my lips. A thought comes to mind quickly about what to say.
“You know how you guys always say things like I'm smart and a genius? You're not entirely wrong. I'm not sure when it happened, but I suddenly felt smart. I got what you were saying and wanted to do what you were doing. You know how difficult it was for me to walk. It was a disaster. I knew what I needed to do, but I lacked the strength to do it.” I say.
“We always assumed you were too young to comprehend your situation, but it appears we were mistaken. You were well aware that you were trapped in this space. Did you think we were holding you as a prisoner?” My mother expresses her concern.
“I neve knew there was meaning behind it, I just didn't know what,” I say, shaking my head. " I tried to bring it up occasionally, but you guys always seemed to avoid it. I was sad and angry at times, but I never considered myself to be a prisoner. If anything, I'd describe myself as stuck. Now, could you please explain why I was trapped in the room and why we are in a massive cave?”
My father walks up and sits himself down beside me before placing a kiss against my head. “It’s going to be a long story, son.”
