When he woke up, it was as if something was trying to dig its way out of his skull. The pain just kept on growing worse over time, and he almost went crazy thinking it would never stop. Maybe something had pity on him since the pain disappeared just as suddenly as it appeared.
When he was finally able to open his eyes, he was astonished. He was floating in what appear to be the infinite cosmos. He was surrounded by pure darkness with the only light source coming from the infinite number of stars twinkling in the distance. It was breathtaking.
“Enjoying the view”
When he heard a voice behind him, he tried to turn towards the noise but couldn’t. He felt as if the voice was crushing him, making it impossible to move.
“Don't worry little critter, it’s probable better that you don’t look upon me. The last thing we need is for you to lose your mind, even if this is a mere fragment of my true self. My voice should be enough.
‘Are you some type of god?’ was all he could think to say, but no words would leave his mouth. That’s when he remembered how he had been called a critter, so he moved his arm up to his eyes only to see a little black paw. ‘I’ve already turned into a porcupine, great. That’ll make it much easier to communicate.’
“You don't need to worry about communicating, I can see all your thoughts. To answer your first question though, I suppose I could be called a God based on your perceived notion of one.”
‘OK, well, hello and thank you for answering my question Mr. all powerful god. If I could ask another question, what am I doing here?’
“It's OK, you don't have to worry about where you are, this is merely a place I chose for aesthetics. Now enough with all this nonsense and silly questions, let’s get to why you’re here. That’s what’s truly important.

OK, so you know how you can use points to buy skills, titles, bloodlines, and all sorts of good stuff, right. It's not even that hard to get ridiculously powerful in a short amount of time. I’ve always felt that I made it a little too easy, but what can you do, this was merely an early test version of my system.
So far so good right? Well the real problem comes from those lucky few fellas that become overlords of their own worlds. They always try to advance to the next level of power, only for them to die slow agonizing deaths.
You see, when you buy things from the system store, it’s not really your own power. So, all it does is stain your soul little by little until it makes it impossible for you to grow in power without ripping your soul apart. But apart from that it’s fine.”
‘How is that a TINY problem?!’ If you consider that a tiny problem, I don't want to see a big one.
“It’s fine, all they had to do is not buy anything from the system, but you don’t have to worry about this. I’m going to give you something special, some special little things called pristine points! Don't want to use those dirty little points, exchange them for pristine point!
