《No content》Martris, the deity of greed

Once he was properly shackled, the londals led him to the corridor leading to where Martris was at the time. When they entered the corridor, the gate was so massive that they had to gaze up to the highest point of it.
Cretus: All this for one person is excessive
Londal: Let me remind you he is a god, so he knows the mysteries of the world you don't know. It is quite normal for such a monumental figure to have so many treasuries
Cretus: What did he accomplish to be awarded such a reputation
Londal: Shut that mouth of yours you wretched fool. Do you want to die before the audience has even begun? All gods have finely tuned hearing that can hear from great distances. I can only pray that what you said did not reach his ears.
Cretus: Alright I get it, forgive me for my sin.
Later, the londal opened the massive gate, and there were at least 50 angels sat and gazing at Cresus as if he were a very dangerous person. That is, of course, what they all believed. Although londals have wings, they are tiny and unimpressive. The Angel wings, on the other hand, were magnificent and gleaming.
Cretus: *whispers* so many angels in one room, I wonder the crime I am charged for is the gravest of all...
Unknown voice: Indeed it is...
Cretus then turned to face a very majestic and dignified angel who stood above all others. His wings were 10 times larger and brighter than those of the other angels in the room. Cretus realized right then and there that he was the one... He was Martris, the greed deity.
londal: *whispers* kneel you, dirty peasant.
Cretus kneeled without any hesitation in fear of awaking his wrath.
Martris: You may stand... So, though I do not deal with cases such as this, I would most likely get you executed, however, the londals claim you deny the fact you committed the crime and cried sorry to your mother because you failed her

Cretus: My lord, I speak only the truth when I tell you that I did not kill that man on the street. I was only caught in the middle of it in the attempt to help him, just to find out that he was already dead.
Martris: If what you say is true, why is it that you attempted a very risky escape to flee the city?
Cretus: My lord, the londals are vicious and would never let me any time to explain the situation such as you generously are doing at the moment.
Martris: So you mean the londals are incompetent?
Cretus: ...Yes
Following that remark, there began to be a very large conversation among the angels, and it was difficult to listen to any of them due to the amount of noise coming from each section of the room. Cretus, on the other hand, was too afraid to lift his head and stand up after that response, so he remained to kneel before the god.
Martris: Enough noise... *the noise instantly stopped* anyways, I feel you speak the truth and that you did not kill the man. So you are judged to be non-guilty.
The noise became even more intense after that decision
Cretus who couldn't believe his luck could not help but just smile with joy while still bowing to the deity.
Martris: However, I heard in the hallway you said I did not accomplish anything to deserve so many treasuries.
Cretus: My lord is was just a misu-
Martris: *raises voice* Be quiet when I speak!
At that very moment, Cretus was scared. He was scared Martris would suck his soul.
Martris: I also heard you are very close to your mother *smirks* Bring it.
Suddenly, a londal appeared with a large and hurled it at Cretus. What he witnessed inside was something that no person should have to go through. His mother's head rolled out of the bag and in front of him. Despite having her head chopped off, she still maintained that sweet grin that assured everyone that everything would be ok.

Cletus's aversion to Martris had evolved to rage. Cretus tried to sprint towards Martris, but the londals stopped him and threw him on the ground to keep him from moving.
Cretus: What did you do to my mother you fucking bastard. How could you do that to someone who had nothing to do in this situation! I will kill you for what you've done! I swear I will hunt you down and I will kill you!
While he was cursing the deity, he told the londals to take him away and put him back in the cell.
Cretus was denied food for a week, so he supplemented his diet with raw rat flesh and drank from the leak in the brick ceiling.
After another week of living in deplorable conditions, two londal guards burst into his cell and hurled a bucket of cold water at him. This jolted him awake, but he was too exhausted to resist them. They carried him outside and to the Gate that leads out of the village, where they strapped him to a donkey and connected him from every side to ensure he couldn't escape. They then smacked the donkey on the back, and he bolted. He had spent hours on the donkey, but he was too weak to try to detach himself from it.
Suddenly, he arrived at a little farm where the donkey discovered some berries. The donkey began eating the berries, but the farm's owner, who looked to be a woman, arrived and spotted the donkey. She was a stunning woman with black hair, brown eyes, and a cotton tulle gown. When she approached the donkey to make it move, she noticed someone atop it.
She dashed over to the Cretus and untied him. He then placed him in bed and wrapped warm twelves around his legs, arms, and forehead.
She subsequently prepared clothing for him to wear and food for him to consume when he awoke from his slumber.

The Blade's Own Truth
This is a preview of the novel, I will only be posting 10 chapters plus the prologue, if you like what you read please consider purchasing the novel on Amazon. Thank you in advance, and I hope you like it! The Wilderlands are said to contain many dangers. On most maps the area remains blank and only the bravest of travelers will venture beneath its canopy. For monsters roam these woods, which made it the perfect place for a legendary swordmaster to disappear from the world for a time and raise a child. For seventeen years Holviti of Yuutan rased Duren in those woods, training in the sword, hunting the creatures that called it home, but as is the case with all young men, there comes a day when one must leave his fathers home and make their own mark on the world. Duren had no idea what awaited him in the world, but he was definitely looking forward to finding out. Sword in hand and Holviti’s lessons in his head he set out, thinking he was prepared for anything in the world. Up until the point he met her that was… Author’s note: This book contains an overpowered main character, graphic violence, creative language, sexual innuendos, and quite a few moments that cracked my creative consultant up. You have been warned...

The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.
