Tom jumped off the couches and ran over to his bag, but before he could get there she seized his arm. Looking over his shoulder to see her smailing at him and in a mocking voice she asked.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Not wanting to drop the beer, he transferred it to the arm she had a hold of.
"Ummmm, No where. I just need to get som'n out of my bag."
She looked a bit surprised.
"O-ok What are you getting?"
Feeling round inside the bag, he found what he is looking for. Closing his eyes as he pulled the pin to a flash bang. Tom tossed it in the air, as he casually said.
"Say cheese."
Following its ark in the air, she only got out one word.
"What-"
There was a deafening bang and he felt something heavy hit the floor. He couldn't a thing hear and he looked to see why she let go of his arm. She was rolling round on the ground and with her hands on her ears. She was probably swearing at him to. Thinking to himself.
'May have over done it. Don't cat girl have really good hearing?'
He recovered the bag and ran out the back door. Lobbing the dragon scale behind him and jumped over the fence. Didn't spill a drop of beer by the way. Making his way over to the train tracks and walked along them and pulled out the burner phone. Tom looked up on the internet when the next train is coming.
'Looks like in about two hours, need to find a place in the shade til then.'
After about five minutes of walking, the burner phone started to beep. Looking done at it, there was a text from Jonathan.

Tom's paranoia
'The dragon is going to get this number form him... somehow! Burn the burner phone!'
Not going to questing it this time, Tom drops the phone and stomped it into the ground. Walking for all most an hour, he could see the train yard.
'Cool, just need to wait for it to get here. That looks like a nice tree over there.'
Sitting in the shade of the tree, Tom got out the water flask and did inventory.
-Three liters of water
-Hand-pump purifier
-Light weight tent
-Sleeping bag
-Lighter and waterproof matches
-Three MRE's
-Fishing kit
-First-aid kit
-Roll of duct tape
-Pair of socks
-Bathroom towel
-Toothbrush
-One smoke grenade
-Two flash bang
-Knife and multi-tool
-Picklocks
-357 Magnum Revolver
-12 silver bullets (six of them in the gun)
There was no ten foot pole, so it was not best bug out bag, but it will have to do. Seeing the train off in the distance, he got prepared to jump on it. Then something small hit his lag. Looking down at the dragon scale and somewhat panicking, Tom examined the grassy field. There was no one out here but him.
Tom's paranoia
'Not Good!'

The Legend of Rayola the Deathless [Dead]
[This story is Discontinued] Another story based on the lore, which has been expanded and with far more details and hopefully better writing shall be released later on. After about the tenth time she died, Rayola started to think, that maybe she didn't come out quite right, even by supernatural standards. Of course, the pale white skin and hair, plus the blazing orange eyes might have been a clue and it was getting harder and harder to blend in. To top it all off, she has no memory of who she is and there's an incredibly suspiscious, snarky voice in her head making quips about her life choices. Even worse was the inability to sleep. At first, she thought that maybe she was just an overly messed up zombie or even a vampire! But she was proven wrong time and time agian... there were too many inconsistencies and it made her uneasy. The final straw was the issue with her own identity. At first she was okay with being her own brand-new person, but as more and more ghosts of her past started to slowly catch up, she had no choice but to set off on a journey... A journey to discover who she once was, and to find out what had happened to her. It was for no noble cause but merely one for personal salvation. Yet, her actions left behind a legend in her wake.

Savage Hunters
Giant monsters roam the land Civilization is frozen in a savage age. For the beast slayer Alden, power and survival are one and the same. The ancient evil that once ravaged his village and murdered his ancestors has returned. At the same time, politics hurls Alden and his crew into gladiator pit battles for control of the throne. When Alden takes possession of a cursed sword promising untold power, the hunter is determined to save his people by slaying every giant monster standing between him and the throne. But the angry ghost trapped inside the blade has other ideas. Buckle up for the brutal LitRPG ride of a lifetime Savage Hunters is an alternate-world neolothic fantasy. Characters grow their powers with explicit stat blocks presented right in the text, including levels, attribute scores, and unlockable skill trees. Experience is accumulated by battling enormous monsters the size of buildings. Political intrigue and romance elements ramp up as the series progresses. I originally wrote this story after playing Monster Hunter with my niece. She was 12 at the time, already an avid reader, and wanted to read my other published books. I'm a licensed psychotherapist specializing in severe trauma so I tend toward darker fiction. I told her my usual books are too brutal for her but I'd write her something special. The result was this series, which has been praised by both teens and adults for its depth and universal appeal. It begins with an emphasis on cultural elements because I consulted with a trained anthropologist to craft this neolithic setting down to exacting social detail. After these opening chapters, it rapidly shifts to an action-packed adventure. The first 3 books are fully written as of November 2020, totalling approximately 69 chapters. The first book has been professionally edited already. The following two books require some editing which I'll do on a chapter-by-chapter basis as releases progress. I welcome reviews and comments. Writing is a passion, and reader engagement makes my labor all the sweeter.

Voidsong (A NaNoWriMo 2018 winner)
Synopsys: The Empire thought humanity died, and forgot all about it. The Empire is mistaken. A Note From the Author: This story was written as a National Novel Writing Month 2018 entrant. As such, its entire 50,000+ word length was written between November 1, 2018 and November 31, 2018. Overall, I would consider this no more than a polished draft. In that vein, the chapters have no names, only numbers. Special thanks to Chronus on youtube for answering my questions on NATO radio procedures! My Apologies to the Finnish Language, which I have abused in (probably) unforgivable ways to create Twisted Empire names. If anyone is interested, break the names up by commas and toss them into your favorite translation program (I used Google Translate, and tried to avoid umlauts and other accents) for some semi bilingual boni. If I got something wrong (and I know I did… somewhere…) let me know over on reddit and I will see what I can do to fix the mistake. Lyrics, where included, are cited in footnotes.
