Chapter 4 of my book. This chapter has once again more fighting in it. The beginning isn't what i wanted it to be, but the ending is worth it, for me at least. Enjoy.

Chapter 4-Eldor
When he got into the shop, he realized he had landed into a pile of burnt coal. “Goddamn it.” He slipped and collided face first with the ground. He began bleeding from his nose.
When he got up, he looked around to make sure there was no one in the room. It was almost pitch black, but luckily Sear could still see because of his “connection” with dark magic. He walked over near a bin and peered into it. Inside, all he saw were clumps of iron and some larger clumps of copper.
Leaving it aside, he continued looking around. All over the wall were racks with tools, but no weapons. Deciding that there was nothing in this room, he moved into the main room. There he found what he was looking for. Inside of a small glass display, sat all sorts of weapons.
He saw throwing axes, a few longswords, daggers, war hammers, even a damned great sword. It looked like it required a beast of a man to handle it. When he went up to it, he realized it was locked. He had completely forgotten that he needed to get new lock picks. Instead of waiting around, he did something really dumb. Sear smashed the glass.
He dove into the mess and picked up all of the higher quality daggers, along with a few other weapons. He hid it all in his cloak and ran back into the other room, going straight for the chimney. Behind him, he heard someone going down the steps and he thought he heard a sword coming out of a scabbard.
He propelled himself upward out of the house and began running for dear life. He knew that in less than a minute, the entire city guard would be there to hunt him down.
He ran faster than he thought he could, and after what seemed like an eternity, he stopper and turned around. It seemed like he had gone towards the base. Instead of going into the sewers though, he decided to go into an inn.
“Excuse me, how much is a room for the night?” Sear was impatient, knowing that at any moment the guards could burst in.
“A room is 20 a night lad.” Sear felt like killing the man right then and there. 20 pots! That was double the price of the last in. Instead though, he paid and ran to his room.
Once there, he took count of everything he had taken. He had 4 iron daggers, a copper broad sword, and a bronze throwing axe with him. He reckoned he could get at least 400 pots for all this.
He fell asleep and that night he was troubled. All throughout the night he kept waking with an image of a man in his mind. The man had shoulder length black hair, a lumberjack beard, multiple scars, and most surprisingly, his pupils were blood red. Even though it was only a memory, or an imagination, he was scared by it.

Throughout the rest of the night he couldn’t sleep, for the man would not leave his head. Once morning came, Sear made his way out and went back to the guild base. He sold everything he got except for 1 dagger and got 465 pots from it. While strolling around the halls, a shorter man with chain armor and a long sword came up to him.
“Limbo is asking for your presence immediately.” The man stood and left, not even looking to see whether Sear payed attention or not. He realized that this was most likely quite important, so he ran the way to the office. Once there, he knocked on the door like Greb had done.
A faint “Come in,” came from inside. Once inside, he saw Limbo holding a piece of paper next to a picture and a map.
“I have a job for you, to test your skills. We just got an assassination request for Gef N’Eldor, one of the nobles that commands the court in the palace. You have to kill him in the next 4 days. The reward for completing this is 10,000 pots. Will you do it?” Sear knew he had heard the name before, but he didn’t know where.
But then it hit him like a cannon. Gef N’Eldor, the man who “controlled” the village he grew up in. He was the reason for all the pain that Sear had felt during his life. A few years back, the man had come to the village when Sear was only 1 and pronounced him as the destroyer of the village.
Since then everybody either shunned him or outright hated him, for they all feared Gef.
“I accept. He will be dead tonight.” Sear got up and left the room with determination in his eyes. He knew exactly where to find Eldor, the noble brothel. He felt the two daggers in his hand, and knew that tonight both of them would shower the city with blood.
He hastily left and began walking towards the center of the city. He knew that the brothel had to be somewhere around there.
In this part of the city, everything was much more spaced out. In between each shop was space for another 2 or 3. There were trees, grass, small ponds, and luxurious houses everywhere.
He knew that most of the people here had gotten this fortune by scamming others. It angered him to see how easily they got to such high status while people how actually worked always struggled and were laughed at for it.
After a few more hours of looking around, he finally located it. It was a large stone building with very few windows. There were guards surrounding it, so he knew that many nobles were most likely currently inside. He would wait for the perfect time to strike.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“C’mere you swine!” Sear heard the crack of a whip and the wimping of a girl. When he looked, he saw a girl, no older than 15, being attacked to a chain. It was already dark, so he knew that it was getting to be time for him to act.

“This girl here only cost me 5,000 pots! She even still has her chastity!” He heard a man say. Apparently, a nobleman was bragging about it to the other nobles. He could hear the whip again as the girl was hit again.
The nobleman stepped out of the shadows and Sear lost control of himself. The man standing in front of his was none other than Gef. He was a fat, horrid man that smelled of rotten eggs. He had a double chin for his double chin, and there were rumors that he needed a 2 horse platform to be able to ride.
He gripped his daggers and began to move forwards, toward Gef, towards the group of nobles, towards the pack of over 60 soldiers and guards. “You there! Stop where you are or you will be executed!” He looked over to see a guard pointing a lance at him and beconing him to back off.
Instead, Sear ran forward, slashing the man’s throat as if it were melting butter. Blood gushed from the wound in all directions. Most of it was sprayed 15 feet to the side, towards the pack of nobles.
When he looked over, he saw them all staring wide eyed and with horror at what had just happened. Not only that, but they had also been covered with blood, causing one to collapse and start screaming. Instantly, Sear was surrounded by men moving closer and closer. He couldn’t see because of the hood so he took it off.
“YOU! Its you!” He looked over to see Eldor looking and pointing at him. “I told them that you were going to be a bad person! Guards, kill him!” The men all charged in, closer and closer to him.
At the last second, Sear jumped upwards and landed on a man’s shoulders. He drove the blades downwards, cutting into the man’s shoulder blades and eventually cutting his arms right off. The man screamed and ran as blood poured from his body.
Once again, Sear turned into a bloodthirsty animal who’s only goal was to kill and devour. Sear went on a rampage, slicing through men and armor like nothing. He ripped their eyes out, split their head right down the center, decapitated them and threw their heads at other soldiers.
He did everything he could to kill as many of them as possible. He hadn’t been hit once yet in his attacks. Men were starting to back off, seeing that it would be almost impossible to kill this living demon.
Sensing his opportunity, Sear ran at the nobles who were too stunned to move. When he got close, the jabbed his daggers into the man’s gut. The man doubled over, but before he collapsed, he pulled his daggers out once more, bring the man’s whole intestine with him.
Men threw up at the sight of a man’s whole digestive system being pulled out of their own body. As he went to each noble, he began to do more and more gruesome things. For one, he ripped their eyes out then stuffed them in their mouth before cutting his throat. For another he started cutting from the hands of his left arm and continued the slash until the man’s right hand, cutting a meter long slash along the man.
After a while, all that was left were soldiers who were too scared to do anything, Gef, and the girl. Now would be the part he would savor the most.
He slowly began to walk towards Gef. ‘No! No! NO! Get away from me you madman!” He tried to stand and run, but he slipped on the blood and collapsed once more. By now, Sear was right above him.
He loved seeing the fear in the man’s eyes. The fear that made a man regret everything he had ever done in his life. Fear so strong it would affect him even if he lived. He slowly bent over, getting closer and closer to the man. Once he was close enough, he cut the dagger up to the noble’s mouth.
“This is the end for you. Your time on this planet is over, as it was for the rest of the men foolish enough to follow you. You die now.” His voice was much, much deeper and sounded raspy. He sounded as if he hadn’t drank in years.
In one final attempt to protect himself, the man tried to punch Sear, and only ended up with a dagger plunged in his hand. “AAHHHHHH!” You could have heard the scream from miles away. It was the type of blood curling scream that gave you goosebumps.
To eager was Sear, when he plunged the dagger into the man’s neck. He saw the life leave his eyes.
After a while, he had calmed down. He looked around and saw everything he had done. There were dismembered body parts everywhere. There was enough blood to flood a town. He looked down at the girl and saw her terrified look. He unlocked her shackles and began to run away.
He knew that if he got into another fight like that and lost control again, he would end up turning the city into ruins.
