PHASE 56 - MY UNENTHUSIASTIC FUTURE BOYFRIEND IS BRANDED AS A PERVERT, MY FAULT
It really took me the whole night before I got all of it. Seriously, I never got a blink of sleep because of the sudden revelation last night. That’s too much information for my brain to handle, and luckily I managed to get it through the morning without having my brain explode.
First thing is first. Back during the past timeline, I used the to rewind everything, altering some variables in the process. Somehow, everything seemed okay nonetheless as I have quite saved the universe from being destroyed. However, Hades and Esperia still exist so everyone’s safety is not guaranteed.
Our main objective right now is to stop Hades and Esperia from commencing their plans. However, there is this problem that we don’t know their whereabouts yet. Even Esperia, who is supposed to be a part of the Black Cross Legion, is absent in this timeline. We’re back to zero leads on who they are.
Jecchan gave me a special mission, which is actually a continuation or extended quest about what I already had. My mission is to resume guarding Rikkun and somehow make way to recover his memories during the past timeline. I have to do it myself because Guinevere said that she cannot just shove her sword right to Rikkun’s ass. Guinevere said that she’s afraid that she might get banished for interfering so much, so it all comes down to me.

“With determination, I will never give up!” I pumped my fists.
“Hey, are you listening?” Rikkun asked me with a cold glare.
Apparently, I have been lost in thought for the past thirty minutes that I forgot that my objective is right in front of my eyes. Rikkun is in charge of showing me around the school since I’m a neophyte student. Good thing Macho Steel... err Mister Kent managed to convince him to show me around.
“Ah! I-I’m so sorry, Mister Alaric!” I cried. “W-Where were we again?”

Rikkun made a disappointed sigh as he repeated his explanation about the classroom.
“This is a classroom. It is a room that is used for the class.”
“Uhuh.”
I nodded as if I’m a country bumpkin, pretending to be a complete idiot. I already know what a classroom is, so don’t underestimate me! I’m just doing this to play along!
Rikkun continued to walk and I followed him. He finally stopped to introduce another room.
“This is the laboratory room. This is a room where you do your laboratory stuff.”
“Uhuh.” I nodded.
Then we moved to the next.
“This is the music room. This is a room where you do music.”
“Uhuh.”
Next room.
“This is the home economics room. This is a room where you do home economics.
“Uhuh.”
Next room.
This is the student council room. This is the room for the student council.
“Uhuh.”
Next room.
“This is the toilet room. This is a room that has toilets.”
I nodded with a forced smile on my face. Right now, I wanted to punch my future boyfriend in the nose for treating me like an idiot. Well, I know I’m one, but he did not have to treat me this way! He’s not even enthusiastic enough to make a good explanation about the rooms!
“What?” Rikkun had this cold green-eyed glare at me as if he’s pissed. He’s the very same Alaric Eisenhower I know who’s always grumpy, arrogant, and female-hater. He should be hating me as of this time.
“Uh, Rikkun…” I scratched my head as I forced a laugh. “I-It’s okay if you’re not fine being with me, I’ll just discover the school by myself.”
“No,” Rikkun said as he turned away, trying to hide his reddish cheeks. “As much as I hate this lousy job, I still feel that I have to do this for you. This is to repay your efforts for saving me yesterday… Besides, Macho Steel would scold me if he discovers that you got lost inside the school.”

“It’s enough already~” I made the brightest, cutest smile I ever gave to him in this timeline. I even matched the blush on his face. “You don’t have to stress yourself any longer, Rikkun.”
Suddenly, time stopped between our perspectives. Rikkun widened his eyes as he looked at me with curiosity.
“What did you call me again?” He asked.
This is the moment. I’ve been trying to inject his brain his nickname on the previous timeline during the past thirty minutes. This is the only way I can think of to recover his memories. I hope this works, because if it doesn’t… I don’t know what will.
“Rikkun.”
There was a five-second silence.
When the silence broke, his answer started with a deep sigh. “So you’re making weird nicknames now, huh? Ric-Kun?”
“I-I thought of that nickname overnight! I almost never got any sleep! Ahahaha!” I laughed, but I cried inside.
That nickname plan did not work! What am I going to do now!?
“Fine, you can call me anything you want,” Rikkun said with a hint of a smile on his face. Suddenly, he put his hand on his chin as if he’s questioning something.
“Hmmm?” I pressed my face forward and tilted my head like a curious pup.
“Nothing.” Rikkun shook his head. “Come on, let’s go back to our classroom. We need to fetch things.”
“R-Right!” I nodded as I pumped my fist.

We’re on the first floor. We are walking leisurely on the corridor, passing by some students. Most students would look at me with amazement with heart-shaped irises, while the same students would look at Rikkun with a sigh of disgust.
I am fully well aware that this is the height of Rikkun’s bad reputation. Alaric the Arrogant is a notorious man in Dradecim National High School, and his negative charisma only slightly fell down when I appeared in this school. During the past timeline, whenever I punch his nose for savagely rejecting a girl’s confession, the rumors of Rikkun being a punching bag quickly reigned in the headlines. I might do the same for this timeline so that Rikkun will learn his lessons.
Speaking of punches, maybe I can recover his memories if I punch his nose over and over. Shaking his brain that much might make him retrieve his lost memories.
Let’s try it.
“Hey…” Rikkun stopped walking, which stopped me from executing my evil plan. He seemed to be in shock so I looked at his pale face.
“W-What is it?”
“Look at the students here. Why do they look like that?”
I looked around and saw a group of students with hollow black eyes. There’s black blood oozing on it without them knowing. Those black blood flowed to the ground like watered ketchup which slowly flooded the floor. I have seen signs of Eidolons, but I’ve never seen it this severe!
“there's an Eidolon nearby! And it’s powerful!” I shouted out loud.
“H-Huh? Monsters again!?” Rikkun cried. “Give me a break!’
“Come with me!”
I grabbed Rikkun’s hand and led him to a less secluded area, which is the woman’s bathroom. I think this is the nearest perfect private place where I can open a Gate without anyone knowing.
However, I am wrong about the secluded part. When the bathroom door opened, several girls were there, half-naked.
“Kyaaaaaaaaah!!!” The girls in the bathroom cried as they saw Rikkun in the area. Without much time to react, Rikkun became the target of flying soap, hand sanitizers, tissue rolls, shampoo bottles, and even a bald cat. Then, the girls all ran away, leaving us alone in here.
“Thanks a lot, Tiara,” Rikkun said with sarcasm as he wiped the mixture of liquid soap, tissue papers, and hand sanitizer on his face and hair.
