Chapter 32-The King Scores

In the science department building, we are conducting some test to the pipe quality. We put mild running water inside of it in a half an hour now. In the first few minutes, the water isn't clean and there is some plastic that mixes in the water. Next, we increase a bit of pressure of the water that running inside, surprisingly, the pipe is more durable than we thought. With the help of Lin, we increase the pressure again in the pipe, the pipe is still intact and no visible damaged that I saw. I`m a bit happy after the two hours of testing, the water is clean and the pipe looks like gonna hold for a long period of time. I told to the science department members that they should continue the testing in a month, I also told them my water and sewer system plan.

After the testing of the pipe, I go to the main army headquarter to visit my uncle. When I arrived, I can't see my uncle anywhere. While walking, I arrived at the front of captain Rowena bedroom.

‘..Maybe she knows where my uncle is..’

"knock, knock, captain Rowena, are you there? I just want to ask you something.." I said in a gentle tone.

After a few moments, finally, she opens the door. When I see her, she is wearing some a bit transparent gown, she looks alluring.

"Cough, You said before that my uncle will going to sleep here, but I can't see him here. Do you know where is his location?" I said, after my eyes roll to her body, I turned around quickly and hold my nose.

"My king, general Leon told me that he will sleep here. I think.. he maybe in vice-general Damascus house sleeping.. And my king, why are you turning around? Are my clothes weird? The clothes shop owner said that this design is comfortable when you sleep." She said in her usual military tone.

"No, that night clothes is looking good to you.." I said in a soft spoken voice and quickly blink outside.

"Woah!.. That weirdo girl.. I almost lost myself there." I said in a low voice, my thing became a bit hard and I panting for a few seconds.

In the next morning, Ms. Dana Evergreen told me that the mapping of the different structures in the royal city is already finished but the remaining cities will take a long time. After escorting little anna to her school, I go back to my room and draw some plan on how to take the water in individual house using the new pipelines. There are 7 springs in the royal city that constantly generating a good amount of water.

'..This may take a long time, for 1 month, I think we can only install the 30% pipe of the house here in the royal city.. I should continue this project next year after I go back from the empire.. I wonder what that empire look like..'

After I escorted little Anna in the early school, I go immediately to the lower limb city, my plan is to learn how to use daggers. I need to protect myself in close combat especially in the empire if the mastermind of the last war is still there, he may try to assassinate me.

When I arrived in the lower limb city, there is a group of archer soldiers that doing some flexible training, vice-general Lucas Drend is the one who training them. Lucas Drend immediately notices my arrival and signaled to stop the training, they all bowed at me for a moment.

“My king, it`s quite early, Is there a problem?” Lucas said in a well mannered tone.

“Well, after I know the information of the mastermind, I need to learn some close combat fighting skills, I want the dagger one. Do you know some expert dagger user here?” I asked in my usual tone while checking out the training of the archer soldiers.

“My king, why not just use swords? We don`t have any soldiers that focused on learning on how to use the dagger.” He explained, he looks like still pondering things.

“Well, the dagger is fast and quite light, I can hide it to my hips without hindering my movements. I don't want it to store in my storage ring, I just want to take extra precautionary measures when I arrived in the empire.” I said then signal some of the archer soldiers that some of them are doing the training wrong.

“My king, that make sense! How about post it as a mission to adventurer guild?” He said, his suggestion is right on target.

“You're right, I'm also considering that, by the way where is captain Rowena and uncle?” I asked.

“My king, They are talking earlier, I think general Leon borrowed some money to captain Rowena and left while captain Rowena said to me that she misses princess anna, I think she's in the early school and probably she will buy again some new clothes in the merchant city.” He said, his jaw tensed to biting posture as his lips curve down when he mentioned captain Rowena`s name.

After our talked, I immediately go to the adventurer guild house. Inside, I see the old women monster talking seriously on some slim tall man that over 7 ft. tall there are two huge swords behind his back that forming a letter x.

When they notice me, they stopped for a moment, the tall man tries to intimidate me. When I see his face, there are many scars on it that look like cause by some sharp objects and he slowly approaching me.

“King Michael, do you need earth element user again?” Old woman Brena Breath said in a loud voice. When he heard the voice of old Brena, the man stopped for a moment and bowed at me.

‘..Is this guy wants to kill me?.. Fuck, I even activated my quick reflex skill..’

The killer looking guy just passes by and exit in the guild house.

“No, Madam Brena, I need an expert dagger weapon wielder that will teach me his dagger skills.” I said in a loud voice while slowly walking towards the reception table.

“King Michael, most of the dagger weapon experts are in the assassin guild, it will take a lot of time before we can find one.. How about this, I know how to use daggers but my skill on it is only at the intermediate level.” She said in a polite tone.

“That`s fine! But looks like you're expertise fee is quite expensive, you should give me some discount, you know..” I said in a hopeful tone.

“Haha, King Michael, I`m not going to ask golds or anything.. I just want you to tell me some stories of your otherworld dreams as a reward..” She said, her eyes glitter after she said the reward.

‘..Looks like this woman is quite a curious type.. I wonder if I can recruit her in my science department, I need her to be more curious about the earth, she might help me in the future..’

“I don't know what should I tell about that world but I will do my best to describe it. Let`s start my dagger training first!” I said in an excited manner.

“King Michael, please wait for me in your royal castle, I need to call someone that will temporarily act as a receptionist in here, I will go to your castle immediately as soon as I can.” She said, she stands up and asked the nearby adventurer to guard temporarily then exit to the guild house to find someone that will act as receptionist.

When I arrived at the royal castle, I told to the royal guards to let them enter Madam Brena if she arrives. Surprisingly, they all know who is the old monster woman. I go to the royal treasure room to pick up some daggers and do some warm ups.

After an hour, one of the royal guards told me that the old woman is in the castle. When I arrived in the training field, I see Madam Brena, her posture is perfectly straight.

“Let`s start madam Brena!” I said as I smiled and she removed her robes. My mouth agape after I saw her removing her robes. She is wearing the sleeveless shirt that I designed. Her arms has really good well balanced tone muscles.

‘..This grandma here.. Only her face is old, I think her body is better than mine..’

“King Michael, I will teach you first some basic stance and..” Madam Brena said politely, we do all the basic stance, slashing and some throwing. We don`t do some sparring yet, she told me that after a week or two if I look ready, we can do some sparring sessions.

‘..Finally, A sparring with an SS-rank user! I wonder how strong she is.. Sigh.. After living for over two years in this world.. I feel like I'm changing.. I shouldn't be excited like this before, especially in just sparring or fighting sessions..’

When we see the sky's getting darker, we stopped our basic training session. I invite the old woman to eat dinner in the royal castle but she refused. I eat dinner with little anna and go to my bedroom, I continue to draw on where the water and sewer pipeline should be put.

‘..Where should we put the shits?.. Should we put this outside the kingdom, just do some burn process and let nature take its course?..’

In the next morning after eating breakfast, I go to the training field and do some dagger training. Madam Brena told me that I need to do this in the next five days.

After my training, I go to the early school and planning to stalk, I mean to see karylle.

We go together to the arrow merchant city and eat. After our tummy is full, we watch some circus performance.

She's trying to remove her hand but I insist on holding it. “King Michael, what.. What did you say?” She said in her stuttering voice but she gave up on removing her delicate and smooth hands.

I look closely on her face, “I said, I like you since the first time I saw you and I can't stop myself..” I said in my trying to be hard romantic voice, I try to kiss her but she moves her head sideways.

“But. But.. king Michael, you have a fiancee and she`s from the scarlet sun empire, she will be your queen..” She said softly as her eyes widen and rounded while her cheeks become red.

“Sigh, you're just saying excuses, just say to me that you don`t like me! The king can have multiple wives..” I said, I free her hands and turn around.

After a few moments, “No, king Michael.. I like you too.. But I want to be your only on..” She said, I go back again in her front. I hold her head and kissed her sweet tender lips.

After a few seconds, “We like each other, there's no need to complicate things..” I said to her and kissed her forehead. The both of us go to some inn that equivalent to a hotel back in the earth, we enjoy the night and at last, my beast inside came out.

Lower Limb City, Main Army Headquarter (P.O.V Captain Rowena)

As I close my eyes, I heard someone knock the door of my bedroom.

"Captain Rowena, Are you there? I just want to ask you something.." King Michael said.

‘..King Michael? Is he planning to do that to me? He can't endure my beauty anymore..’

I get up and changed my clothes to a bit transparent one as fast as I can. When I open the door, our king sees my whole body. My head tilted forward while my lips averted to a pout and trying to seduce him.

"Cough, You said before that my uncle will going to sleep here but I can't see him here. do you know where is his location?" He said, I see his face became a bit red after he rolled his eyes to my body and turn his body around and hold something on his face.

‘..As expected, this transparent clothes is really effective..’

"My king, general Leon told me that he will sleep here. I think he maybe in vice-general damascus house sleeping.. And my king why are you turning around? are my clothes weird? The clothes shop owner said that this design is comfortable when you sleep..." I said in my usual military tone.

"No, that night clothes is looking good to you.." He said in a low voice and quickly teleported somewhere, I can't see even his shadow.

‘..I thought he`s gonna do that to me.. Our king is really different than any other man..’

In the next morning after I eat my breakfast, I go to the early School in the royal city to visit princess Anna. When I arrived, their teaching session is already started. I go to their room and watch on the side, there are also some mothers that watching their child and trying to cheer them. I see princess Anna always raising his right hand to answer but her new teacher didn't do any favor for her and just called her occasionally.

After few hours, I'm going to buy again some bold clothes and I will show it to our King again if I have given another chance.

‘.. Next time I'm sure our King will surely notice and appreciate my beauty..’

After I bought the new bold clothes while walking I see our King that wearing some hooded clothes. I still notice him because I'm familiar to his different aura. As I about to approach him, I see the new teacher of princess Anna. They look like close to each other, I see them talking and laughing. I tail them, they stop to watch some performance in performer district.

When I'm about to approach them again, I see our King holds the hands of the new teacher. After a few moments of talking, our King kisses the lips of the new teacher.

‘..Our king like her?..’

My sight becomes a bit blurry as I looking at them and feels some beads of water is falling down under my eyes.

“Am I crying?.. Why I am crying?.. Hick,”
