《Stuck in a zombie world with an OP shop》Chapter 12

At the closing of the day, Ryan climbs to the top of the manhole. Taking a glance at his credits, he grins at the number, 10224. While he could kill a zombie every three seconds, it took some time for them to gather. Ryan silently thanked whatever God had given him this location, and he reaches the top.
Laying under the van, on the right side, Ryan purchases a concrete block for 15 credits. 'Cheep,' He thinks, and the block fills most of the distance between the van bottom and the pavement. Ryan pushes the block to the tire, then buys another one. After ten concrete blocks, the distance between the wheels on the right side has been filled. With four blocks for the front wheels and four blocks for the rear wheels, Ryan has the entire area blocked off.
The entire creation only costs 270 credits and has given Ryan a safe place to sleep for the night. For 400 credits, Ryan buys a pillow. After eating a steak dinner for 215 credits and throwing the trash into the manhole, Ryan goes to sleep.
The next morning, Ryan wakes up and repeats the cycle of killing zombies and eating food. To speed the process, Ryan bought the skill Spears four times for 1200 credits, raising his current level to Spears 5. To test out the pistol, Ryan bought electronic earplugs for a whopping 3200 credits, and six .22 LR bullets for 6 credits.
The action of the pistol still worked, so Ryan had high hopes for the gun not exploding in his hand. Even thought he wanted to test the gun, he wasn't going to fire it inside the manhole or inside his secure base. Instead, Ryan placed the gun inside the inner pocket of his jacket and went back inside the manhole. If another person tried to attack him, Ryan would use the gun in a cramped location, but not otherwise.

At lunch time, Ryan climbed the ladder up and then went onto the roof of the van. There, he had a great vantage point over the street. A few zombies had gathered, so Ryan felt it would be a good time to test the gun.
The first shot, Ryan aims it at a zombie approximately sixty feet away. He turns on the earplugs and holds the gun with both hands, then fires. The gunshot echoes through the city, and the bullet misses. 'Damn,' Ryan thinks, and he buys ten levels of Shooting for 3000 credits. At his next shot, the head of the targeted zombie explodes.
After four more shots, Ryan has killed four more zombies. To reload, Ryan buys a high table for 400 credits, and ten bullets for 10 credits. Placing the pistol on the table, Ryan loads the magazine with all ten bullets and then places it back inside the pistol.
A few minutes later, Ryan has killed all the nearby zombies. The credits earned was enough to pay for the bullets, but not the skill levels he bought. However, if the pistol would help when fighting hostile humans, the cost of three thousand credits would be well worth it.
Ryan washes his hands with a glass of water and places the gun inside his jacket. Leaving the table on top of the van, he returns to the manhole and resumes the killing of zombies.
At the end of the day, Ryan sleeps under the van. He's gained a large sum of credits for the day's zombie killing, but most went to skills and the earplugs. Ryan wonders what the battery life on the earplugs is, but they were only on for a few minutes, so he thinks they will last a while longer. Even if they need to be replaced every day, the cost would only be a few dozen credits for each battery.

Issekai Mockery
The story begins with Alvaro Brad, a genius young man in his teens. Alvaro excels at every subject of his school, chemistry, physics, mathematics and programming are some subjects that he enjoys the most. That seems to be the first impression that people have about him though. Alvaro has another side to him, he is addicted to gambling. Since nothing seems to challenge him anymore, he has taken upon himself to beat luck itself. The only moment he feels any kind of joy is when he takes risks and gambling has given him exactly that. After skipping class to gamble yet again, he sees something on the way to the club. After looking closer he finds a small coin on the ground and as soon as he picks it up he is transported to another world. -Issekai Mockery is exactly as the title suggests, a satire fiction novel making fun of the Issekai genre in subtle and not so subtle ways with the sole purpose of putting a smile on the readers' faces, the novel will feature a lot of Issekai and mmorpg jokes. Don't forget to comment and rate the fiction as I want to listen to some feedback.

Hattoran Chronicle
There is a hostile sky above me. Man will never conquer space. He may live in it, but he will never conquer it. The sky above is void, and very black, and very hostile. -- Joseph Kittinger A pair of extragalactic supersoldiers are betrayed and stranded in the Milky Way at the end of the 29th century, potentially shaking the balance of power within the galaxy, but there's far more going on than anyone realizes. Allies are few in a galaxy eager to learn their secrets, and their ancient enemy continues to threaten the existence of the entire universe. The two Hattorans are forced to rely on each other and a few unlikely allies to solve a problem they for once can't simply fight their way out of.(Technically Star Trek fanfic but outside of existing storylines and I'm considering how easily the serial numbers could be filed off) This is all in progress and constructive feedback is strongly encouraged! I've got a lot in the air as I bring this all together.
