《Saints Row: The World Is Yours》Chapter 10 - Infection

Ana Markova was still playing with the Third Street Saints with her plan still being executed. During the time where she distracts the Boss and Shaundi using series of simulations programmed by her, the New Syndicate was occupied and currently busy dealing with their hostages Dustin and Viola. They were held for ransom or else, it would be their last moments.
Transferring them to the private, artificial island they have built which is formerly known as the Magarac Island, the place is now recognized as Loren Island. The area itself was renovated, removing the statue and some other significant properties in it for an expansion including its star-like formation itself. And upon making it a secretive spot, they installed hard-to-impossible to bypass security measures that no one would dare to hack through, even Kinzie herself that happens to be an expert about those kinds of matters.
Viola and Dustin could be seen in the island's helipad, being tied up in there to make an example out of them. The ballgags in their mouth were still intact, and they couldn't do anything but groan for help, hoping that the Saints would save them from being abducted. Even if a search for them was being done, they still couldn't find the two. Kinzie is almost done recreating her plans upon defeating Matt Miller using the same protocol, but this time, she'll take the risks.
Speaking of Kinzie, she was working on hacking through the simulation along with Oleg using her laptop. To be specific, she is creating a deadly virus that could pierce the firewall that Markova has created to block them, and Oleg is the one who is going to upload it once it's done. "Okay, this thing's ready for usage after it's done loading. Plug this flash drive into the supercomputer and I'll be the one sitting on the chair and upload my subconscious into the usernet just like what I did to Boss the last time."
"Are you sure about that, Kinzie? This is too risky." Oleg was worried about the virus that she rushed to program using her laptop.
"Just to it, you gigantic sissy!" After entering a few more codes, Kinzie passed the flash drive that has the virus in it after she finalizes the program.
"Alright then..." The Russian brute held the flash drive that was so small, he only uses his index finger to wield it.
"What am I, a cybernetic freak? The virus won't do anything to my system! It'll help me breakthrough Ana's firewalls. Once I upload my subconscious there, I could now co-exist with Miguel and Shaundi." She explained how it would work, sitting on the NEMO chair comfortably.
"Do I get to choose what avatar you should use to interact with them?" Oleg had a slight chuckle after asking.
Kinzie sighed before agreeing. "Alright, fine."
"Enjoy your visit to Markova's creation, Kinzie. That woman is too tough to handle..." Oleg gave her a thumbs up before closing the NEMO chair and prepare it.
"You're in charge, Oleg. Oppose her with simulations so that we could transfer them into safety." Kinzie spoke before getting rendered unconscious on the chair. Her avatar by default appeared in front of the monitor after she passed out.
"Why are you in a-" He was shocked upon seeing Kinzie's prototype avatar.
"Are you fucking kidding me?! Change this, now!" She began to walk around the simulation after bypassing its firewall.

Oleg soon programmed Kinzie's avatar, turning her into a Gat mascot. "There, that might make them comfortable."
"Not bad, but change this after." Kinzie could now interact with the environment, but she still couldn't find Miguel and Shaundi.
Walking inside a door, she found Shaundi sitting on someone else's lap. The confusion was all she had upon seeing her in the nude, and she would unmount when the Boss turned out to be the one who is she riding. "Oh, hi. And no, you're not a disturbance."
"Okay... Why is Shaundi naked and having raw sex with you?" All that Kinzie had to do is to ask the obvious.
"Because he's such a pussy and an overprotective scumbag." Markova soon reappeared, pointing a pistol at the back of Kinzie's head.
"Put it back in..." Shaundi begged for more, beckoning the Boss as she was driven by lust.
Ana made sure that the gun was loaded, cocking it before whispering in Kinzie's ear. "Don't you like it when you watch someone making it all up with a good pounding?"
"Oleg, now!" She held Markova's wrist, unarming her immediately before going to a new, random simulation.
This time, they warp into a similar platform where Boss and Matt fought. It's just them in the arena while Miguel and Shaundi were stuck outside, forced to watch both go all out. "Kinzie, I think she'll go for an avatar change."
"You gotta be shitting me..." She looked above the humongous avatar that Ana transformed into.
"This is my world, Kinzie Kensington. Changing simulation courses would be totally useless." Markova warned while loading her gun-like arms.
"Uploading your avatar now, Kinzie." Oleg notified, entering it.
She then transformed into a giant Saints Flow can, sighing in regrets. "Really? You could have copy-pasted hers!"
"I'm not a fan of plagiarism, Kinzie." Oleg toyed around.
"If Pierce is watching this, I swear." Boss covered up the awkwardness that occurred in the previous simulation.
"I knew this isn't gonna go well..." Kinzie had no choice but to fight Lady Kalashnikov.
"May the best agent win." Markova pointed her arm turrets at her, but Kinzie went for a takedown.
She ran towards Ana and wrestled with her soon as they hit the ground. Kinzie restrained her arms, not letting her fire any bullets or sorts of lethality. "I'm not with the FBI anymore!"
"Shaundi, Boss, run towards that door. It'll lead you to a new simulation I just made. Go!" Oleg told them to get moving.
Soon as they made their way to the door, Ana broke free of Kinzie's attempt to submit her. They both stood up only to hit each other simultaneously. Kinzie was groggy already, and Ana gets slightly dazed. The bullets soon came out of Markova's hands, piercing Kinzie's tin body with it before she bleeds but instead of blood, purple juices leaked out instead.
Before they could even engage for yet another clash, Markova brought them to a brand-new simulation where Kinzie is sitting in front of her computer while a naked Oleg chases someone holding a sniper rifle. This version of Oleg seemed bulkier, but the intellect he has is non-existent. It might not be him and it's just one of his clones, but who knows? Either way, the questions were answered when he opened his mouth.
"For one last time, Cypher. You are mistaken." Oleg spoke in a deeper tone, mentioning the former Ultor assassin.

"I have come to detain you, Oleg Kirrlov." Cypher stood in front of him.
"I do not work for Ultor, I said it already." He insisted that he isn't affiliated with the private military sector. And yes, it was clear that it's a buffed-up version of Oleg.
"I might not be taking orders from a corporation anymore, but would I lie to myself about this whole shindig?" She was about to bring out her handcuffs when Kinzie's arms are restrained by them.
"Kinzie?" Oleg noticed that it was her in a gimp suit.
They could only hear her muffling due to the mouth of her mask being zipped tight. Cypher was the one who unzipped it, and now she could tell them what is going on. "I know you two aren't real but listen, Ana Markova is the one behind this simulation and we have to work together to counter it."
"Ah, Kalashnikov... I know that I've gone rogue, but she took it from a whole new different perspective." Cypher knows who Ana is.
"Is anyone gonna break me free from here?" Kinzie shows her cuffed wrists.
"Don't tell me you forgot your safeword." She smirked at Kinzie.
She responded with disgust, citing her safe word. "Ugh, fine... Tea cup."
The handcuff would automatically unlock itself, crawling back on Cypher's uniform before she puts her sniper rifle down. The real Ana Markova was still nowhere to be seen, and the Boss himself is questioning her existence. Is she even real? The New Syndicate is just toying with them? That's what they are about to find out after they escape from the curse of a simulation made by her.
"Shaundi, where are you?" Miguel was reaching out to the door, asking Shaundi where she is.
"Behind you." Shaundi appeared and jumped on the door.
"Fuck it... Here goes nothing." Boss also leaped after her, landing on the radio tower where Dustin and Viola were tied up.
"Okay... Where the fuck are we? This better not be in the simulation." Shaundi makes sure that they broke free of the hell they went through.
"Okay, Dusty and Viola aren't here. We should ask Oleg to locate them." He didn't bother answering her question. This led Shaundi to go berserk again.
"Who gives a flying fuck?" She said while rappelling down below the skyscraper.
"Aren't you gonna thank Kinzie, at least?" He asked while using the rappel to go down below.
"No, fuck her." Just when he thought Shaundi is starting to like Kinzie, his hopes have deceived him.
"Wow, I thought you two were good out there. Oh, well. Let's get back to work, shall we? Find Dustin and Viola and extract them." Boss updated their objective, landing the road to start their mission off.
"Shit... More Deckers? Are you shitting me?" Shaundi sighed after seeing their vehicles pulling over near them.
"Quit bitching, more shooting." He passed an SMG on Shaundi before getting into cover.
"Hmph, sounds like a great banner for the Saints." They had a little chit-chat while waiting for the Deckers to stop from spreading bullets all over them.
"Now you take ideas from me? And I thought Pierce's idea for a porn studio is completely bullshit." He reminded her of Pierce's ideas.
She slightly gasped before shooting one Decker goon. "And what? Make me fuck everyone here in Steelport? No, I'm not gonna repeat history."
"Glad you're learning from your mistakes, Shaundi. Just one step at a time." Miguel had a smirk after speaking.
"I call bullshit. You still haven't apologized to me that night." She still hasn't moved on from the accidental kiss.
"I already did! Come on, what do you want me to say?" The Boss asked in a harsh tone.
"I'm so gonna kick your balls, Boss." Shaundi moved into cover, threatening him.
"Joke's on you, I'm into it." He's just out there to get on Shaundi's nerves.
They both looked at each other sternly while gunning down every Decker member out there, running away to get to the safest place possible. They are obviously mad towards one another, yet they work as a team flawlessly. The Morningstar comes next to subdue them, but no one could ever match up to their involuntary coordination and reluctant chemistry. Both went on roasting each other and yet they can't be touched by the ones who are attempting to take them down for good.
"Think we could get there in time?" Shaundi acted like she was downed just to distract him.
"I don't know, just shoot!" Boss wasn't bothered, however. He's so focused on firing his gun.
"We can clearly steal their vehicles instead of leaving a trail of mess, you know." She was looking for more of a technical approach than committing mass murder.
"Oh yeah? You go there and let's see if those sons of bitches won't kidnap your ass for the millionth time!" He was worried that they might abduct Shaundi yet again.
"And what makes you say that?" She cracked a smile, asking her while aiming for their heads.
"Because I- Fine! You go and steal their vans, I'll take care of these sons of bitches." Miguel finally agreed to her plan.
Once Shaundi began hotwiring a Deckers vehicle, Oleg made a phone call to update them. "Are you guys back online now?"
"Yeah, Oleg. We're making our way too... Fuck! Where are they exactly?" Boss doesn't have a clue about the New Syndicate's whereabouts.
"I might have located them already. They are in Magarac Island that is now under reconstruction to fortify its structure. You two are basically invading private property, and do keep in mind that Loren and his comrades are now holding half of Steelport. They can detain you anytime they want to." Oleg cited what they have missed.
"Half of Steelport? Put all of us to jail for trespassing a fucking island? Nah, fuck that. I'm taking back what's ours." Boss entered and drove the van while Shaundi peeked outside the car window to see if someone's following them.
"This place is a fucking ghost town ever since we got stuck on Ana's simulation. Do you think there's something fishy going down there?" Shaundi finds the happenings suspicious.
"To Magarac Island it is, or whatever they call it now." The Boss just disregarded Oleg's warning as he took a detour to the private island.
"Are you really out of your mind?!" Shaundi knew he's going to drive them to Loren Island.
"No... I'm doing this the old way."
