Hey guys,

A year and a half ago, after serious illness and catastrophic loss of notes I dropped this novel. The fact that there are still people following it, amazes me. I read stuff and when I find it's been dropped I'll read to the end and drop so the fact some of you have been holding out hope for this novel to come back astounds and has given me the motivation to at least finish this to where The Exodus Project (the very first attempt) got to.

So what does this mean? Well I've completely rewritten all the characters from the ground up, they still resemble the original ones, but I feel like I have taken some basic 2D concepts and really fleshed them out and have given them full personalities, backstories and depth. Part of the reason I dropped this is because I had just hit a wall and I didn't see any way forward without going back and rebuilding alot of this novel from scratch all over again and that didn't appeal to me then.

It does now. I want to finish this and I know where this is going and how it's going to get there. I've spent the last 2 months writing character files, story boards and the act of writing is fun for me again.

But, this means that there is going to be a process of heavy edits, some character changes are mostly superficial and some are not. The MC has been completely rebuilt from scratch including a new name but the kernel of his personality remains. Over the next two months I'm going to be updating the existing chapters to reflect this new design. After that there will be new material.
