《Reality Breakers (Hiatus)》Chapter 2: A normal feeling of uncertainty

The boy stood again as he began to walk to school because it was morning, lucky for him his school was close by, in fact a 15 minute walking distance. He lives in Tacoma, Washington and goes to Washington High, and started talking to himself.
I am Lexo Reign 2nd year high school student, everything went fine until that hobo did something weird to me. Phew I didn’t lose any memories or something, but that heavy feeling, what was that? And that vague conversation I can’t seem to put my finger on. What was also annoying were those stairs I got after I fell down. I mean they are American haha they don’t want any claims on their asses.
Since he was close already to the school he reached the front gate 2 people approached him.
“Hey Lexo!” A girl called and gave him a smack on the back.
“Hey, Vannesa!” Lexo greeted.
Vannesa had tanned skin with light brown brown hair with blue eyes, wearing a white long sleeved flannel shirt with some light blue denim jeans.
Lexo saw the other boy standing next to her.
The boy had pale skin, short black curly hair with dark brown eyes, wearing a dark blue denim shirt along with matching pants.
“Oh hey Lucas!” Lexo said hi.
“Ugh you always forget me.” Lucas complained.
“Sorry, it's just that you are very unnoticeable.” Lexo apologised.
“Pfft hey!” Lucas reacted.
“We should head to class now.” Lexo proposed
“Yeah, but with what lesson do we start today?” Vannesa asked.
“Algebra.” Lucas replied as they started moving towards the main entrance.
Lexo sighed as they finally reached the classroom and entered it. Lexo went to sit in the back right corner of the class and Vannesa sat next to him.
“Hey, what about me?! I am feeling left out” Lucas jokingly said.
“Pfft you know that you are good at this subject. Sit your ass in front.” Vanessa said back.

“I know, I know. I was only joking, jeez.” Lucas replied, moving to his table 2 rows in front of them.
When Lucas sat down and the rest of the class was present, the algebra teacher arrived.
“Okay everyone it's been 2 weeks since year 11 started and I want to test what you learned last year, so today I will be giving a year 10 mock exam regarding 1st degree equations.” The teacher said, bringing the papers around.
The students gave a big sigh.
“Ah man I suck at this!” Lexo panicked.
“Don’t worry I’ll help you out.” Vannesa whispered.
“Okay everyone spread out!” The teacher exclaimed.
After the tables were spread out they started on the mock exam. Vannesa whispered to Lexo that with equations what you do on one side you also have to do on the other. Lexo didn’t understand what she meant and wondered how he even made it last year as Vanessa started to give the answers by holding the paper up in an angle that he could see. 1 hour passed and the teacher signaled to put down all the writing utensils and stood up in order to pick up the answer sheets. He picked them up and said that everyone could go now and that the next lesson would have their grades.
Following the history and ethics lesson it was finally time for their break, where Lexo just got some food from the cafeteria and looked around until he saw his friend and sat next to them.
“Lexo, nice timing tell her why sleeping naked is awesome!” Lucas shouted.
“Wha…?” Lexo reacted.
“Dude what the heck!” A guy in the back exclaimed.
“Shut it, random bastard let us big boys have our totally constructive conversation!” Lucas shouted.
The boy didn’t bother to reply again and resumed talking with his friends at his table.
“Anyways you should try it one time. It makes your body feel cooler and more importantly it boosts your self esteem!” Lucas explained.

“Dude you are always coming with this kind random shit trying to convince to do something stupid. No way in hell am I sleeping naked for no reason and even if I did you wouldn’t get to see anything, so buzz off soy boy.” Vannesa dissed.
“Why you gotta be so mean.” Lucas said while making a fake sad face, trying not to laugh.
“Ummm.”
“Yes Lexo? You want to say something?” Vannesa awaited for an answer.
“If you both had the power to change the world, what would you do?” Lexo asked them.
Lucas went first.
“Hmmm I would probably…… uhhhhh solve world wide food shortages so that everyone can at least have something on the table each day.”
“How I didn’t know that a dumbass like you could have such a nice heart.” Vannesa commented.
“Hehe you know what they say don’t judge a chad by his cover.” Lucas replied.
Vannesa rolled her eyes.
“And you Vannesa what would you do?” Lexo asked her.
“Ummm… I would… make it so that everyone in the world could receive proper education.” She answered.
“Well miss, that is not too shabby either.” Lucas commented.
“Thank you.” Vannesa replied.
“But Lexo, why this question? Did you turn into our philosophy teacher or something? You're gonna be an old man sitting on some random rock with a thinking pose, even though there isn’t a single brain cell located in your head hahaha.” Lucas joked around.
“Hey stop it dude!” Lexo said while laughing.
“Anyways the break is over we should head to science now.” Vannesa proposed.
“Yeah let’s go.” Lucas responded.
After Science, Economics and English the classes for today ended where Lexo, Lucas and Vanessa head home, but separated in front of the school gate because Lucas and Vanessa take the bus while Lexo walks home alone most of the time.
While walking home Lexo was still thinking about what the hobo said and did to him.
With the answers that Lucas and Vannesa gave to his question, would he have laughed at them too? Moreover, what did he mean by me having to learn and needing someone like me? Am I not seeing something he does see? Ugh!
Lexo crossed an intersection and went inside an alleyway to take his usual shortcut when a woman jumped from the building situated on the left side and landed right before him.
“What tha!” Lexo reacted.
“Surprised? That is weird?.” The woman commented.
Taking a closer look, the woman had pale skin and long blond hair with green eyes wearing a complete white combat outfit with 3 black belts around her waist.
“Who are you and how did you land without breaking anything from that height!” Lexo exclaimed.
“Shut it don’t play stupid I know what you are! Oh I am Blitzia King, nice to meet you.” She replied.
“What do you mean by knowing what I am?! I know that I am human, big news!” Lexo shouted at her.
“What you really don’t know, the one who gave you the powers hasn’t told you?” Blitzia questioned him.
“No, what powers?!” Lexo asked her back.
So that is what that weird feeling back then might have been!
“Welp who cares anyway, you can only take responsibility for it.” Blitzia said with a shrug.
“Responsibility! I am only a high schooler. What am I supposed to do with this info?!” Lexo wondered.
“I am not here to chew things out for you. I am only here to take the competition out early, so prepare yourself!” Blitzia readed herself.
“Wha?”
Bitzia suddenly started to run towards Lexo beyond regular human speeds.
Shit this is bad, bad news!
