I almost forgot I had a fire stone!!.
I don’t want to get burned by my own spell. Should I cast a water barrier first?
No. no. I should concentrate on how to construct a fire rune.
Zost guided fire energy out from the stone. He controlled it with the same feeling when he controlled the water rune for the first time.
The stream of fire slowly gushed out from the fire stone.
The surrounding area was getting hotter and hotter.
The flame intensity was out of Zost control.
“ar shit!!”
Zost conjured a water ball to stop the fire but the little amount of Zost’s power can’t do anything to the fire from stone.
A shadow stayed under the tree shaking his head.
“You started the fire, why not even try to construct the rune now.”
Zost calmed himself down, Zost felt the way of flame gushing out. It was not like water.
It didn’t need to control it precisely and just guide it wildly in one place.
The flame swiveled into a flame tornado. It was getting smaller and smaller to the core.
When the flame died down, what was left was the rune.
Zost’s fire rune had appeared.
“Yesss, I got my Fourth rune!!!. It’s too eas…”
Inside his body, the three water runes shaking unsteadily.
One of them collapsed on its own. blood rushed out from Zost's eyes, ear, nose, mouth.
Zost stood still shakingly while bathing in his own blood.
Swoosh, a shadow rushed out to Zost, he hurriedly cast healing rune.
Zost’s wound stopped bleeding, and color returned to his face.
“Nobody teaches you to prepare before constructing a rune? Who is this guy's mentor? WTF!”
Zost slowly opened his eyes to meet with the stranger who was not so stranger.
He opened his eyes much wider, then he jumped out from the spot.

“Why are you here?”
“Me? I’m living here”
“But but you trying to kill me in slum area”
“No, that was not me. I got processed. Thank you for trying to help”
“Now I’ve returned you a favor so we don’t own each other anymore. bye”
“W-wait. Who are you?”
“Me. Call me shadow.”
Shadow literally merged with the shadow and disappeared from the field.
“Shadow huh, cringed boy.”
Zost got punched in the face by something.
“Sorry fellow, sorry don’t hit me”
Silent returned to the training field. Zost was in no mood to train anymore.
The fourth rune almost killed me.
Master O master why didn’t you warn me when you gave me fire stone.
A fiery eyeball observed the whole situation, squinted its eye before disappearing.
Countless engraved runes shone dimmingly, Anna reading a report while drinking coffee.
The Town situation was under control.
The people seemed to accept their fate to live with ghosts.
Town lord used all of his forces without sparing any to prevent ghosts from rampaging in town.
Three major forces: monks, sword practitioner, mage producing charms to ward off those ghosts. The business was running nicely. Even though anti-charm lunatics proclaimed the ghosts were not real, The Charm was not effective.
I hoped those anti-charm idiots would die sooner. I don’t want to live in a world with too many idiots.
Those brotherhood spread their influence too much.
A blood sacrifice for a blood vial that practice needed to be shut down.
The investigation team seemed to not get any useful clues.sigh.

“Come in”
Anna placed her coffee on the tray then gazed intently at Zost's body.
“Oh. didn’t I tell you to deconstruct a rune before constructing a new one?”
“...N..”
“Nevermind, The previous task, you still have not finished it. this time go with Meiji. She will told you in the detail”
Anna waved her hand like a previous time, Zost’s body sent flying from her room. the door closed on its own.

Hey! I once lived on your world back in 2056. But that was a long time ago and there’s probably no records of my existence. Or, maybe, I haven’t even been born yet… …I’m still figuring out of the timelines correspond. Anyways, I was or will be, or whatever you want to call it (maybe I am?), John Pitcher, a resident at St. Jude’s Hospital for the Mentally Ill. I was a computer programmer and my parents had me admitted there because I was convinced that I had been contacted by Set, the Egyptian god of chaos, about creating a world. Well, apparently, I’m something akin to the great times a hundred grandson of over 10 000 gods, and they didn’t want me to live an ordinary, dull life (well, except for the god of normalcy, but he doesn’t count). Set gave me three years to prepare myself. This begins right at the end of those three years. [participant in the NaNoWriMo Royal Road challenge] I originally had this as part of the prologue, then I realized that it made a better synopsis. Please note: this might seem a bit clunky because I haven't done a lot of writing, and this is supposed to be a kind of prequel to another story that I plan on doing in the future. I will not be fully explaining everything but instead will be explaining things in that other story. This is mainly to help fill in the lore of the world so that people will have at least a basic idea of how things function. Regardless of that, that story won't be written for at least another year, so deal with it. Note: I am using ideas from several different authors in order to make sure that this can be a proper story. You may or may not recognize where I got them. I am not writing a Fanfiction and do not claim these as my own. I will add to a list of titles below as I find myself using those ideas.
