《Why are there so many insane people in the world?》Chapter 4 Plants?

Buddhist temples were a place of serenity.
People came to the temple for learning and education, as well as to practice martial arts and cultivate their minds.
Monks would regularly create a platform for town folk to gather and discuss dao, life's meaning, and seeking the truth.
Recently, town folks have had questions about things they shouldn't know about.
“What is after life?”
“Are there such a ghost in this world”
“I heard from my friend they saw a ghost weiling at night”
“Me too, my friends tell me to not look at mirrors at night.”
After being pressed too many times to answer those questions.
The temple dispatched monks to inform the townlord.
And deploy teams to investigate the rumors.
They found a cult called the Brotherhood.
There is one headmaster, six fathers, and approximately 100 brothers in this organization.
The cult preached mostly in the mind area, they heal or cure people for free with rune magic.
They keeped discussing the afterlife. But did not touch the topic involving ghosts.
“We still have not found solid evidence about ghosts.”
“That your jobs, mages. Are your runes useless?”
The head monk jabbed our mage faction. What a sharp tongue. Are monks allowed to use foul language? That attitude.
“I just checked all the runes in town.”
“Everything seems to be fine. In fact, no ghosts have been shown in town. I guarantee.”
Master Anna ended her statement and gave me a quick glance.
There is a freaking ghost, I saw it with my own eyes.
At the very least, one is in my room. Master Anna seemed to warn me not to mention anybody about it.
“You sword practitioners. Did you come across anything?" Lord abruptly inquired.
“Yes, we cut down some lunatics outside the town.”

“I don't think it is linked to any of this Brotherhood Incident.”
“They killed many creatures including humans then stored them inside trees around our towns.”
“ We just killed them all”
The Lord gave those blockhead swordsmen a serious frown.
The Monks and Master Anna looked at each other for a sec then they rushed to the sky.
“Those plant loser schemes to break my runes” Anna said furiously.
“How long can your rune last?”
“Let me check”
Master Anna casted nine runes simulately. three of them circulating around her.
The other three appeared on her chest, left and right palm.
The final three appeared in her eyes and on her brow.
Anna gathered mana from all the runes to her brow.
The runes resonated with the town's runes.
All the hidden runes show themselves in the sky, the earth, and in town hall before vanishing.
“The runes work perfectly fine. But there is something leaking into the town right now.”
“Do you want my temple to help? We can replace your runes with our scriptures anytime”
“No, if I let you do that, those plants are gonna rush us down.”
“The mortals aren't gonna survive”
“Then we just wait here for you to deal with those leaks?”
“Yes, are you capable of handling it? My side is gonna clean those weeds.”
“Sure, let's depart”
Master came back to the town hall. She told us the situation.
She’s gonna do solo cleaning some weeds outside the town.
She assigned us to patch the holes that are going to be leaked inside the town.
“If anything serious happened use this echo stone to contact me”
“I feel this is only the beginning of something tremendous.”
“Use these star stones to track the breached.”
“When you are there, you must prepare to combat and restore it.”
Brother collin took all the stones then stored it inside his rope.
Inside his rope, there are several pockets. I want that as well.
Master, please give me some love.
“Alright, Collin, you led this team. Teach Zost how to fix the breached. Lets go”

Truck-kun Gets Sacrificed
Driscoll is my own version of a world with a game-like "system" of endless possibilities. MC has his own status, classes, skills, magic, and a living greatswordstaff in a world of monsters, demi-humans of all kinds, and even the supernatural. Sound good? Well, at first for Tru, it was a dream come true(I'm sorry). At least until reality hits him again and again. His quest from God is vague and must be discovered by him along the way. Hopefully, he can figure that out someday but for now, this new world's threats and his potential for power are motivation aplenty. With His new partner by his side, he's ready to embark on his mission of infinite sacrifice, however many lives it takes. The setting is pretty standard for fantasy, with my beginner attempts at writing. Litrpg elements are definitely involved here but It'll calm down as the story progresses and the world's foundation is laid. Judeo/Christian themes and principles take a major role and will be a backbone for much of the story. The fights will paint a picture in the mind rather than just be a bunch of number crunching. While he is meant to be a sacrifice to save all of Driscoll, he needs to gain enough power and influence to be a worthwhile sacrifice, or so he thinks. And so carnage will ensue as he avoids death as best he can while at the same time sacking himself for others. Truck Coon is your average determined, jiu-jitsu practitioner, tax associate that just started his new career. He dies to save kids from a semi-truck(Truck Coon got truck-kun'd, making him Truck-kun) and is transported to another world rather conventionally by God. Upon his arrival, he is quickly confronted with his first conflicts in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Chapters are currently between 2300 and 4000 words and I try to post weekly, but also deal with severe limitations that cause late posts often. I have zero actual experience with writing stories and only recently started reading web novels in 2020. If you end up hating it, let me know your thoughts in a detailed comment or review, especially if you love it though :D I want to get better and welcome the feedback, so expect changes to be made with any flaws that y'all point out which I don't already have plans to address in future chapters. That being said, keep it constructive in nature, please. I have no Idea how the formatting and such will go, so if you like or dislike some techniques I try, give me that well-appreciated feedback! Thank you for reading.

One night an old friend of Ned's wakes him up from his sleep only to inject something into him. The next day he was found murdered. From that day on Ned's life changed. Ned found his world altered, different from how it normally was. This story is about how he tries to navigate through his new view on the world and tries to figure out thes secret of how his entire world had somehow turned into a game of sorts. AN: New writer...somewhat, haven't published anything and this seemed a good time as any so there and this idea was kind of annoying me as well.

Patchwork System
Notification (cannot be ignored): For being the first being to kill another of its own species after Sublimation, Lyam Aldren is awarded the Title of Cain’s Successor. Let all fear the Kinslayer!!! Lyam Aldren, killer for hire, was just going about his business when he suddenly received a notification from something called the System. Apparently, the entirety of Earth, its denizens and its matter were transported into the world of the System, planted in 'patches' all throughout the infinite world. The world of the Patchwork System is one of challenges, where life is cheap, power is king, and Classes and levels are a thing. In a brutal world, there is perhaps room for a killer with bloodstained hands to find his own way, free of his past. However, his Title and his inherent nature plague him, his fragmented personality laid bare to those with the eyes to see, and if he doesn't become powerful enough to defeat or escape those who would use or destroy him, he will quickly be devoured by the merciless world created by the System. Compared to my previous work, this is a more 'classic' litrpg setup, with clear (if somewhat complex) progression through levels and skill gains, with a 'system apocalypse' setup. Unlike most system apocalypse story protagonists, Lyam is neither a leader nor is he particularly interested in saving his fellow Earthlings. This is a story of a man who is both endangered and set free by the destruction of his old world, as he finds both power, new discoveries, and adventure in a place where his past matters not at all and power is the only language most speak. Later in the story, there will be harem elements, but the first volume is dedicated to Lyam's first months in the System. For those who are more interested in the Heirs of the Hooded King, I am putting it on hiatus as I rework the setting and future story developments a bit.
