《Origin of death》Chapter 5: Plains of death

Amirel after opening his eyes notices that he is inside complete nothingness. If not for the fact that he does not see even a single soul around he would think that the whole ordeal was just a dream or that he finally starts losing his mind.
He feels strange. Amirel doesn't know how to describe this feeling but it is something that he hasn't been in contact with for an extremely long time. It didn't take him long before he understood that It's about his body. Indeed, It's about the same body that he along with the system's help created before falling asleep.
He immediately starts familiarizing himself with it. He tries moving his muscles and realizes a shocking truth.
'I'm not able to move my new body properly'
As his new body has such an unusual structure and as long as he remembers hasn't had any, he will have to spend some time to get acquainted with his new vessel.
Ah. You're finally awake!
At this moment system interrupts his 'stretching exercises'.
"Hello. All right, where are we and what do I do now?"
After uttering those words a portal appears next to him. He tries to see what is on the other side but unfortunately, it does not have such a function.
'It seems like I have to go to the other side.'
He goes through a portal and... another empty space with a few souls floating around.
'At least this one is full of grey colour'
"Hey, you!"
Suddenly he hears someone or rather some soul 'shouting' at him.
Amirel turns around and sees a typical white blob flying towards him. As soon as he looks at it he realizes what is the name of this soul, what kind of person he was and even his family members.

When he gets closer he asks a question.
"Who are you? You are not a spirit like any of us."
"I am Amirel, the origin of death."
A soul named Mercas starts slightly shivering from fear or other reasons.
"Oh... I'm sorry about my previous behaviour."
When you're done talking to him, fly away from him into an empty space And then I'll tell you what's next
"I'm sorry Mercas, but I have something to take care of."
"Oh, yes, but..."
Amirel does not let him finish and just walk a little bit further away.
If you want to know, we are now in the realm of the dead that you rule. The soul you just talked to belongs to one of the dead inhabitants of the world Spark created.
"So the change in his behaviour to me is due to..."
That he heard about the origin of death? Probably, but I'm not sure you would have to ask him yourself to certain. Back to the main topic, normally to add or change anything in this place you have to spend your divine energy, but as we have to make the land of the dead from scratch we can add the most basic things for free. The principle is the same as usual. You make up your mind, and I'll tell you if it's feasible.
He quickly notices a very concerning issue.
"Wait a minute, where should I get this energy from?"
Divine energy. What is this type of energy? What are It's other uses? How to gain more? These are all questions on his mind that he needs to ask a system.
From prayers to you or your subordinates, performing your duties as the god of death and so on
"I understand."

He creates It as a land without any clouds, with a black sun, the ground made entirely from ashes and the omnipresent fog.
He knows that It is dull and barren, but since he can only have basic things for free and also does not have a lot of divine energy he has to find the most basic and mostly free solution. In the future, he will be able to add more details but for now, this will suffice.
"Okay. Now to change or improve anything here, I need to get more divine energy."
Exactly. By the way, to make it easier for you to calculate the amount of energy needed, I will present it in numerical value. At this point, you have 20.
"Can I do anything with that amount?"
Nope
"Why so few?"
You get one for each worshiper every year and for performing your duties.
"Does this mean that I have only twenty of them?"
…
They both turn silent. Even for a start, this number of worshippers is... pitifully low.
Okay, now how will you deal with souls here?
Truth be told, he already has an idea about that.
"At least, for the time being, I want souls to come here on their own after death to be judged for what kind of person they were during their lifetime. If they were good people, they can be reincarnated or would stay here and would help me to take care of other spirits. If they were not, they are forced to stay here and work for me to redeem their guilt. If they do not want to change, they will be sent to the void."
Okay, that will be enough as a basis. And now an equally important issue... What will this land be called?
Amirel only smiled slightly.
"I already have an interesting name."
I'm listening
"Spark"

Balancing of the world
Just as humanity reached the height of its power, it fell again. Mana was introduced into a previously balanced world, sending everything present into chaos. Humanity losing its technological advantages, fell back to the dark ages, back to when survival was all but guaranteed. Mana though useful for enhancing the body isn’t unlimited, and humanity fell behind fast. From experiments, a being of mana, born into this chaotic world. The first of its kind. Rather than thriving in a world to which it belongs, it has to model the world so it will suit its needs. As a lone being, it has to use its power over mana to influence beasts and humans alike to abide by its will and further its goals. It will manipulate intelligent lifeforms to do its bidding while believing that they are becoming stronger. It will help lower lifeforms and guide their lives until they fit into the world as envisioned by our being. Read how our protagonist starts in a small area, changing it to suit its needs, and then grows until the world is balanced and at peace again. This is my first story, and I don’t have an editor yet. My English should be good enough, but I expect to have to go back and do editing later on. I would classify this story as litRPG. There will be a type of system with blue boxes and all, though the perspective is the system itself and how it came to be and why it does what it does. As a single mighty being, there will be dungeon core influences such as expanding the area and influencing all within though there is no such thing as an actual dungeon. As humanity is trying to survive, there will also be some city/base building influences, and I will have some perspective changes to show how the forces are being perceived by the affected people. As I have a busy job, it will be hard to update consistently, but I am quite a bit ahead of what I have currently uploaded.

Wanna Join a Band? (TodoBakuDeku)
Izuku Midoriya was a college student, just trying to get his teaching degree. He had been living in the sam duplex house for a year now and hadn't had any problems with the elderly woman who lived below him. She was a quiet and lovely neighbor. Until she died. Sike, I'm not that terrible guys. She just got put into an assisted living thing. Which meant the bottom floor was up for rent and it didn't take long for Izuku's landlord to find a new tenant, or tenants. Katsuki Bakugou and Shoto Todoroki were the two guys that moved in below Izuku. They were also in a band. A very loud band. Izuku was close to going crazy with all the noise he now had to live with and the two wouldn't quiet down, even after he asked, multiple times. Eventually, Izuku listens to them practice so much, one of their songs gets stuck in his head. He takes out the trash, not even realizing that he was singing it softly to himself. Until the two boys hear him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Izuku threw the bag into the dumpster on the side of the house, softly singing the lyrics that were now stuck in his head. "Hey, that's our song." A voice said from behind him. Izuku snapped his attention to the two guys sitting on the stairs of his front door. "It's stuck in my head because neither of you seem to have common courtesy to practice somewhere else." Izuku snapped back, not wanting to deal with either of the arrogant males.Shoto seemed unfazed by his attitude. "You've got a nice voice." He mused. Izuku eyed him suspiciously, not trusting his compliment. "Thanks I guess." He muttered. "Wanna join a band?"
