Runeskin
Runic - The most unusual and mysterious of the humanoid races, Runeskins very closely resemble humans in appearance. The main difference in appearance between the two is that Runeskins have glowing “glyphs” that appear all over their bodies. They do not make any indentation on the skin, and one might not be able to tell that they were there by feeling the skin if they were not warm to the touch. These glyphs glow a light, aquatic blue, generally bright for visibility in the caves, caverns, or ruins they reside. The glyphs are also warm because the caves in which Runeskin live are usually damp and cold. The markings do not have any particular pattern- every Runeskin has unique patterns. They have tougher, thicker skin than humans, and their eyes glow brightly. Runeskin glyphs always connect to their eyes at the end in some way. Runeskin do not have eyelashes, but rather an extra protective layer across their eyes. Runeskin are one of the more mysterious races on Yvitril, as not many know of their origins. Runeskin have no reproductive organs, and do not have any form of gender, although they are generally masculine in figure. Their voices are smooth and melodic. No one knows how Runeskin are able to speak, but they are able to learn language and speak it as any other race. Runeskin are not known to require any form of sustenance, and do not show very much emotion (because of their isolated nature). Runeskin have a strong resistance to air pressure, due to their thicker skin and denser (or lack of?) bones. They also do not require oxygen, and do not breathe as a human would. They lack internal organs as well. As a result of this, they are able to access high-pressure areas, such as deep caves, peaks of mountains, and bottoms of large bodies of water. Runeskins age as a human would physically to a certain point, but can live for hundreds, if not thousands of years. A Runeskin reaches the point of "maturity" (full size) after roughly 1 year. They retain information on a much, much greater level than humans while in their growing period.

The Type Specialist
Alex wakes up in the world of Pokémon. Obviously, the next step is to become a Pokémon Trainer, but not just any Pokémon Trainer. Why should I be mediocre with every type when I can be an expert in one? The Type Specialist is my first attempt to write a fiction. It is solely about travelling the world and building a strong team. Don't expect a solid plotline outside of Alex taking on the Gym Challenge and dealing with small problems that pop up here and there. Updates 5 times a week, every weekday until caught up.
8 141Somnium
Something happened to Ria, she was supposed to be dead. Now she is in another world. The world of Somnium. A mysterous place filled with adventure, fantastical beasts, dungeons, heros and magic. But it's not real. It's man made, and there are more people than just Ria here. Trapped or saved? Somnium is broken, it was never finished by it's creators and something is trying to take over, trying to remake and control the world and its people. Ria must make her way in the world, survive it's strange environments, monsters and fight to protect her new world. Because its the only one she has left. (update edit: 7/3/2020) there have been some changes in the chapter order made. Old chapter 3 is gone, chapters have been re-numbered to reflect this. this results in no plot changes as chapter 3 was not following the main character. Other characters shall be released at a later time and more fully fleshed out. - thanks
8 53The Tower at Suthsea
Yannick is out of the game. He's retired, and that suits this old mage just fine. That is, until the Archbishop summons him and twists his arm into one last crawl through the mythical Suthsea tower; a trap-filled dungeon deep in the heart of enemy territory. Completed, for now - but I'm working on a prequel or sequel.
