In each capital there are at least one or two guilds that protect the place. this guild was once the strongest guild in the whole continent until the war last three years ago. During war we chose our strongest S rank mages to help aid the battle. the reports said that we were going to win. Until a sudden bright light enveloped the whole battle field, next thing we knew everybody disappeared without a trace, no blood no body.

The war happened because the humans and demon Draco tribe wanted peace so they were planning to make the leaders meet to sign a peace treaty, but all hell broke loose when a male Draco killed a human child during a festival to celebrate the peace treaty.

So far the war has died down, but recently there have been sightings of the Draco’s killing bandits and hiring people to work for them, but all in all its still safe to go outside.

You wanted to know about the social standings and the people here in this capital, yes? Okay then let’s start with social standing.

First of is that there are three types of people here. The first one are mages, mages are people have talent and skills in magic, either it be strong or weak they will be branded has mages. At the age of ten they can join a guild, but it depends if the guild will accept them or not.

Second are the bestia qualitas. These are people that are born with qualities from animals. Just like your horns.

people use to despise them because it’s a taboo to have a baby with a transformed animal or magical creature.

This happened a few eras ago, a few magical creatures and monsters gained human transformation and roamed the human continent, the bad ones would just kill people. these were done from the monsters that just wanted to eat and kill.

While the magical creatures were pacifist, some didn’t bother at all, while some fell in love. I only remember that much, if you want to know more just head to the library about the history.

Third are the commoners, it doesn’t matter whether you are poor or rich, if you don’t have the ability to wield magic then you will be branded as a commoner.

The people here in this capital all ranges from those three types I just said, the magic council that run the guilds here suggested that we should just be a capital that accepts any kind of people, but the ruler of this capital opposed it.

so the people here made a rally to accept the suggestion. In the end the ruler had no choice but to listen to his people and accept,

while she was talking about the people and guild I was just eating and nodding at the same time. it seems that this place did not have the common race in games, which is usually elves, dwarfs, and demons. it all just falls in the bestia qualitas category.

I was finally done eating up the last chicken nugget, dipped in a sauce that tasted like sour cream.

It looks like viria was looking at me, waiting for my response.

“I see, so you’re telling me that it’s just humans and half beast?” I assumed that the Draco tribe she said was either a high level lizard or dragon that gained human transformation or was a half that had stronger blood from the beast side.

“Yes, there were rumors of people with long ears and high affinity with earth magic, but it was just a false myth and doesn’t exist” it looks like I won’t be able to meet an elf.

“So... What is the problem this guilds facing right now?” I already understand that all of their strong members are either dead or missing, I just don’t get why the guilds empty.

“Yes, it’s just has I said that the strong members are missing, but the other members here are also missing has well, it all happened two years ago when the members started taking missions that are posted on that wall” she said pointing at the left side of the room.

“After a few days they didn’t return, we usually assume that the mission they took is hard and they gave up, but it was months and months until they didn’t come back.

We had a search party to look for them but found nothing, we assumed that they died so we stopped taking missions for a while.

After a year it happened again but nobody noticed it, one by one they all disappeared until it was just me and primus” I was really surprised that this all happened within a span of two years, I mean usually in a guild there are usually around thirty to fifty members in it.

I was curious about the name she told, if there are two of them left then shouldn’t that person be here.

“Just wondering, who is primus?” a master should also be here, a master is usually the one who runs the guild and also is the founder of the guild, I ask about that later after she answers my question.

“well he is the first person to join the guild, the eldest in the guild and is also the son of the guild master. Ah! I forgot to tell you, the master who is founder of this guild also went to war to take care for the members who participated.

The guild master is strong that’s why I think that they didn’t died from battle,” I see so he is basically the next person to inherit the guild if the guild master died.

“So.. Where is primus? How come he is not here?” I’m taking a wild guess that he is maintaining the guild, both financially and politically.

“He is temporarily with the magic council taking care of our guild, the guild master had a position in the council so when he disappeared during war, primus presented himself to take the position temporarily until master comes back along with the members”

She said with a really sad voice, showing that she really misses the guild members.

It looked like she was going to cry until the double doors of the guild opened.

The one that opened the door was a handsome man with a sturdy jaw line, black messy hair, eyeglasses, eye bags and a beard indicating that he was seriously tired.

he was wearing a white v neck, on top of that was a black unbuttoned blazer, skinny pants and black high cuts.

‘Are all cloths here so modern, kind of reminds me of my world’ I swear his cloths looks really modern, I was going to say something until he spoke in a loud voice.

“Viria the south wing of the capital is being attacked by a bunch of flying lacrimalis, we need your help” it seemed that this man knew viria. I guess he must be primus viria was talking about, but isn’t viria weak?, she couldn’t even move the baby.

“Okay primus, but is it okay if I bring along our new guild member” I could see that she was happy introducing me to him, and it seems that he was just has happy then her because I was greeted with a hug, after the warm hug he held both my arms while looking down.

“Thank you, thank you so much..” I don’t know if he was happy or tired because his voice was manly serious but had a hint of sleepiness with it.

“You’re welcome I guess?, hehe” I was scratching my head, well it’s kind of embarrassing, after a few seconds he finally left my side and went to viria.

“Yes! You can bring him. the enemies are low leveled, but a lot of them have gathered outside, it seems the other guild from the north will not bother coming here for help, so I came to ask if you if you want to join” it looked like viria was hesitating.

“Okay I’ll do it, I may have lost some of my skills but I practiced with ones I have now so I may be useful” viria accepted and followed primus towards the door.

I also followed them along with the baby that was walking beside me.

I was kind of worried because of their numbers all their levels range from 5 to 14, but there had to at least be hundreds of them.

We walked towards a clearing and immediately both of them started using their skills.

Viria raised her hand and a number of forks and various knives appeared. she then waved her hands downwards and the utensils started moving aiming at the monsters at the sky with tremendous speed, making the monsters turn to ash, she did this continuously but with other various kitchen utensils.

Has for primus his eyes were glowing white. He did a clap. when his hands separated light scattered to the monsters making them explode. it looked like his skill makes use of light beams?

I was going to use [info] when viria stopped throwing utensils and spoke to me.

“Phew.. I am so tired. hey looks like you’re interested in primus magic. well I am not too sure myself, but I think he can control light and make them into beams and also control them and shape them in various ways, also I’m curious about you, what’s your magic? Can you show me?”

Looks like it’s my turn to showoff, I stepped back away from viria and took the two keys from my pocket.

“Open key of the light blue slime, AQUA!

Open key of the grey jackalope, ARGUS!”

I told the chant while drawing the symbol. A swirling of water appeared and splashed came out aqua. As for Argus a thunder strike hit the ground and out came Argus clad with small sparks from lightning.

“Whoa! A summoner. cool!” I swear viria looked like her eyes were sparkling.

‘You called father?, hmm what’s up with these pest above us and who is she!’

‘Ah master I’m so sorry for making you fall down before, ’

“Looks like your both okay now, is it okay if you can do an attack that can kill a lot of monsters in a group?”

‘Sure! Anything for you father. This is also my chance to test out my new skill!’

‘Yes master, hey aqua stop boasting and just atta-’

‘[Whirlpool]!’

Before Argus could continue, aqua already did her skill which summoned a tornado like water pillar that killed a lot of [lacrimalis]

It seemed that Argus did not want to lose so he also did his skill, which made his horns spark with electricity and shot it out.

‘[Lightning shock]’

Braches of electricity was aimed at the lacrimalis making them explode, on closer inspection it looked like the lightning connected to other lacrimalis making a chain effect.

Almost all of the lacrimalis died and turned to ashes, seeing that there’s none left I dismissed aqua and Argus, turning them back into keys, "thanks guys!"

“Whoa I didn’t knew slime's can attack like that..” viria looked in a daze, it seems like primus was also coming towards us.

“Didn’t knew you were a summoner. they are really rare here..” looks like I’m a class on my own, I saw that the baby was running towards me.

“Hey watch out!” viria shouted, but the first to react was primus, he immediately hugged me and moved me out of the way from an attack,.

*boom*

I heard an explosion and also saw a blue beam fading, I looked up to find a winged creature that had two heads.

the head that just shot the beam closed its mouth and the other head suddenly opened its mouth getting ready to shoot another beam, but before it could it got hit by something light and fast. after it got hit the monster was suddenly encased with a blazing fire killing it.

‘I know that attack’ I looked at the baby who was also looking at me and received a notification I thought I would never get,
