Shaken by his sudden change of face, everyone backed up a step, noticing that he scared them he snorted and turned around.
"I'm going to check other rooms for more bats." He said as he left the room, rest of them stood there dazed and lost in the thoughts.
Why do I have this weird feeling inside of me, what is this feeling, it feels empty, like there is something hollow inside of me, is this what they call longing? Bahh i don't care, i have my brother and my sisters, they are all the family i will ever need, they will never betray me or abandon me.
Tenebris stood in front of doors and thought, after finishing his thoughts he headed towards doors across theirs and pulled it slightly open.
Well, there are bats here but they aren't as numerous as the first room, never mind, i'll let you guys be my vent for my anger. He thought as he entered the room and closed the doors behind him.
Ding!

"That's one down, two to go." Said Tenebris as he finished up with all the bats in the room, whole floor was covered with bat corpses.
"I'll let them collect those orbs, I'm gonna clear rest of the rooms..." He went out and entered the room next doors, once again the massacre began, bats were falling one by one, they were fast, for other people they would be too fast, and there was at least 50 of them in each room except for the first one, so it took Tenebris a minute or two to slay them all. Slicing last bat in the room another series on notifications popped up in front of him.

Tenebris was slightly confused by this last notification, but after a moment he cleared his head and clicked yes, after which a video started in his head.
"Oh so its a battle style skill, cool i've even forgot about that, i guess i was too used to using it non-stop that i even forgot that I'm doing it."

"Well fuck me if i will allow this stupid system to name my skills. Phantom edge!" Tenebris said as he named his skill.

"Well this is a nice surprise, but how do i use this shadow damage? Huh it might have something with those runes, i'll check that out later, two down one to go!" Mumbled Tenebris as he continued to the last room.
Opening the last room doors something peculiar caught his attention, there was one big bat, that was at least 3 times bigger than the rest of the bats, and there was at least two hundred bats tightly stacked through the whole room.
"Inspect!"
Shadow Bat Lord LVL 30 Semi-Boss
"This is excellent, now lets get this party started!" Said Tenebris as he charged into thick mass of bats, beginning his slaughter.

The Arcane Gunslinger
A lazy celestial being's mistake leads to Sergeant William Remington, a decorated member of the Coalition Marines, to be placed into a new body. His old life aboard the Valkyrie, an interstellar destroyer has also been replaced as he finds his new body in an unknown world. Where he learns of magic, skills, the system, helhorses, and slinging lead with ancient revolvers. Initially, he is skeptical of his new norm but the desire to survive leads him to try to earn a living while he figures out what just happened to his life. He's a fighter but far from the elite, a grunt with some experience. But what better way than to fall back to what he's familiar with, weapons and going after criminals and rebels. With the added challenges of monsters. This is my first Litrpg writing. It's a wild west fantasy setting with the MC taking a role as a gun-slinging bounty hunter in a world of magic and monsters. Hope you enjoy it. UPDATES AT 3PM EST ON MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS! Warning. The story has a slow start because I'm trying to keep my MC realistic. It takes him some time to adjust to his new surroundings, start to make some friends, and really get into the swing of it. I kind of think it's dumb when an isekai's MC manages to blink twice and suddenly adapts to their new world without any sort of struggle or learning period. So not doing that but don't worry Will may be confused and a bit unfocused at first but he'll grow into his own. Also using it to practice my digital artwork... which is far from par but improving. Keep an eye on author notes for maps and depictions of monsters and characters.
