《Dungeon Master Life In Another World!》Prologue
Advertisement
People had been living life for granted. Not knowing how precious it is. Wasting each day on things they don’t like for a future they want. We’ll at least that’s how I lived my life.
Before a large truck sped and hit me, turning me instantly into mush. My whole life was then displayed in front of my eyes like a hologram. From my childhood all the way to my middle school student life.
My first though then was ‘wow, what a boring and insignificant life’. I wonder why I even lived like that. Just when I was complaining to myself about the way I had lived, a flashing blind light appeared and this happened.
"So you're telling me that I died, got reincarnated, and now will become a dungeon master in your world?"
"Hmmm, pretty much"
“Oh ok, I understand… Is that what you think what I was I was going to say oh almighty God!”
I am currently talking to a self proclaimed god in a white room that seemed to extend for eternity. The self proclaimed god had a body of blinding white light so whenever I talk I always look to the side instead of looking at him head on. To be honest, it looks kind of stupid.
“Are you crazy? Who would want to live in a world like that!”
“Look… it’s not like I was the reason the world is like that. Besides, there are other gods too. Why are you only blaming me?”
“Isn’t that obvious, didn’t you just say that I was supposed to be reborn in Earth again if you hadn’t tried to create other dungeon masters as well? But nooooo, I just had to be reincarnated in a world without proper hygiene because of a clumsy mistake of a failure of a god. If I had been born on earth again, I could’ve been called a child genius!”

“…Even if you say that… it’s not like I did it on purpose you know. This is the first time this happened. Besides you’re not the only person from earth. There are reincarnated and transported people from there too”
“Huh? There are others?”
Because of my hesitation, the failure of a god saw an opportunity and continued speaking.
“Oh why yes. Of course there are. Some of them even became heroes while others turned into rulers”
“…”
I had to admit, this is now beginning to get tempting.
“Oh one more thing”
The failure of a god then continued speaking after seeing me hesitate.
“I forgot to say this. But the world you’re going to be reincarnated to has magic”
“I’ll do it”
“What?”
“I said I’ll do it”
“…”
After a few seconds of silence, the failure of a god then continued speaking.
“This is why humans are so… *sighs* just so you know. It’s banned for science to spread ok. Also please don’t let anyone get near your dungeon core since if it gets destroyed, you’ll die” Coughing a couple of times he then continued “Alright then I’ll be reincarnating you now.”
“Huh?”
"So, please make your dungeon thrive and don't let anyone destroy your dungeon core ok"
"Huh! Wha-"
"Goodbye"
My vision was then enveloped by a bright light.
Just like that, I was summoned into another world.

The Ruins of Magincia
They say all things end in time, but the exalted City of Magi would’ve begged to differ. Yet when an attempted coup goes wrong, the city finds itself brought to the very brink of destruction. In the wake of the calamity that left no survivors, the autonomous infrastructure still operating the ruined city seeks to restore what was lost. Luckily for it, the Mana-devoid Universe it awoke in holds an unexpected surprise: a planet full of sentient life forms. All capable—with a little help—to become the next generation of Magi. Back on Earth, Millie McArthur is a pregnant out-of-work mechanic struggling with the prospect of moving back in with her parents after leaving her unfaithful fiancé. That is until she finds herself just one of the hundreds that have been shanghaied by the callous artificial constructs still manning the ruins of Magincia. Now, she must struggle to learn magic, compete for resources, get good 'grades,' and fulfill the seemingly arbitrary requirements for her future job in this broken city. All while keeping herself, and her son, alive. Is the miracle of magic really enough to make up for all the pain? The Ruins of Magincia is a dark fantasy that's heavy on the drama (LitRPG aspects are very light). Chapter lengths can be anywhere from 7k-12k and there's no current release schedule as I'm focusing on wrapping up volume one.
