The morning in the house of Kanraver family was peaceful and typical. Kara was cooking breakfast, Aedus was looking out of the window, Elza was already out in the yard training with her sword and Kari was sleeping, along with Lis. No sound, except for Kara's cooking, was heard. Aedus followed occasional bird flock with his eyes as they flew over the capital.

"Honey, Don't you think that Kari was asking weird questions yesterday?" Aedus heard voice of Kara from the kitchen, which then was followed by herself. She had a worried expression on her face.

Aedus remembered the day before, When Kari came back home and they were having lunch.

"When he asked us if someone else than Rorsak knew of our age? Yup, I remember. He also asked us about time before we met each other, right?"

"Exactly. Why do you think he was interested in those things?"

"Maybe he's aiming for the first place and our social status will hinder his progress at the academy?" Aedus said with a slight disappointment in his voice. Kara had same kind of face as before, but then they heard a voice.

"MOMMY! DADDY!" Lis came downstairs as fast as she could. She was breathing heavily, but she had joyous expression on her face.

"W-What is it, sweetie?" Kara asked, as she lifted Lis from the ground.

"KARI ISH BIG! HE ISH BIGGER THAN DADDY! HE ISH ALMOSHT LIKE MOMMY!"

"Wha-?" Kara and Aedus exclaimed at the same time as someone naked came downstairs.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Aedus screamed as he recognized that person.

Did I change so much? Or is he just jealous because i'm taller?

"WH-WHO ARE YOU?" Aedus shouted as he unsheathed his sword. Kari quickly raised his hands up.

"Relax dad! It's me! Your son Kari!"

"Like hell you are! What did you do to my someone?"

"NOTHING! I AM YOUR SON AND I CAN PROVE IT!" Kari said as he used his Psychokinesis to pick his father's sword sheath from the ground, placing it in his hand." AND as another piece of evidence, I know that mom thought of you as an idiot who could only swings swords."

Aedus was now sure that this boy, who looked like he was 16 years old, was definitely his son. He still had black,unruly hair that was even longer now and black eyes. He also had slim body that looked as if his son was going through harsh training for a few years. But the most noticeable difference was his height. He was almost the same height as his mother standing at 6'4 feet while his mother was 6'6.

"B-But..." Kara tried to say something, but then she realized that her son was butt-naked. "At least, P-Put something on."

"Oh shit, I forgot! Wait a minute."

"Language!" Kara said as Kari rushed upstairs.

The whole family was gathered at the table in the living room. Kara and Aedus were looking at Kari. They still couldn't comprehend the situation. Lis was sitting in her brother's big lap, while Elza had expresionless face.

"Ho-How did it happen?" Aedus finally broke the awkward silence.

"Well... It's the part of my power. I can manipulate my body however I want. Before you ask why, I will answer. I did it because there definitely is an age-restriction in the Aptitude testing. I thought about changing my body little by little since last year, but it seemed too weird. So I decided to use it before the big day. Yesterday, I asked you about weird things and now I will explain why. This body looks like that of a 16 year old. When I will register for Aptitude testing, I'm going to tell them my fake age. Since almost no-one knows of your age except for Rorsak, I think that it'll be pretty safe." Kari exhaled, inhaled and the continued. "I'm pretty sure that I weirded every single one of you out, except for Lis, but please understand that it'll be for the best like this."

I must win universal award for "Weirdest fucking kid in the entire existence".

Kara and Aedus needed some time to intake all the information, but before that Elza spoke.

"It's weird, but I understand. I have only 1 condition." Kari looked at Elza as she looked returned the gaze to him. "You will still acknowledge me as your big sister."

"HAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHA." Kari laughed as Elza pouted. After finally calming down, Kari said." S-Sorry. I was going to keep things the same way anyway, but you saying it out loud made it so hilarious. Anyway, Testing will start soon! I'm gonna have to depart soon. Unfortunately, I heard that families can't attend. Only mage council and teachers from Magical Academies are going to observe us. And they said something about us battling each other."

"You're going to battle and you're so relaxed about it?" Asked Aedus as he raised one eyebrow.

"Of course. They are mages meaning that their bodies will be really weak. They'll be vulnerable to physical attacks."

"Even so... By the way, What is your power?"

Aaaaah shit... I knew that he would ask me this sooner or later. Gonna have to bullshit my way out of this.

"I don't know it's name, but if you'll ask me, It is power to control objects around you. I can move my body faster and stronger too. I can also change my body like this and maybe even someone else's." Kari said as he looked at the ceiling.

"I suppose you're right." Aedus said as he stood up. "I'm going to go now. I'm not gonna wish you good luck, because I know that you will do well without it."

"I think i'm gonna go too." Kari stood up as well.

Aedus offered a handshake to his son. Kari accepted it and shook his hands firmly.

"By the way dad..." Kari said as he grinned mockingly. "How is it down there?"

Aedus was already in the ground in the orz posture.

Holy shit! Orz actually exists outside of anime!
