《The Epoch of Magic》Vol 1: Chapter 4: Birth?

Just as always, Daron had passed out from his cycle of intermittent unconsciousness. However, this time round, he did not wake up.
The water from near his head began to slowly flow somewhere unknown. Naturally, the system within Daron’s mind was still fully functional in terms of it being the backup system and using only 20% of the total processing power, and was taking recordings according to the instructions Daron had given it in case something happened, regardless of whether he was awake of asleep.
Soon, his head had reached some sort of opening, becoming stuck in that opening for some time, before he was finally ejected out of the opening slowly.
Daron had finally gained freedom! However, he was still unconscious to celebrate this accomplishment. Now outside, Daron’s senses were still not working properly, since the light was too bright to see, no sound could be heard since his ears were still slogged with that liquid, which he could only assume to be Amniotic Fluid.
Since he was sleeping, movement was not something he could do, and feeling was also out of the option. The only thing that was still working for him was the system, which was somehow able to see everything now, even without his own eyes, and could hear everything.
Sirious had a few core functions which it could complete by using 0.0001% of the total processing capacity. They were; recording everything and storing this data. This recording so far was limited to thoughts, sight, smell, hearing, touch, and the other normal senses of the human body that Daron could feel. The other core functions were still locked within the main system, and this backup system did not possess them.
Sirious was diligently recording everything.
Sometime later, Daron was jolted awake put an incredibly painful shock to his left arm, and his body instinctively started twitching and trying to move, but he was held him place by someone.

*Bwaaaaa*
Liquid began to flow out of his lungs as he began to cry with all his baby might, squirming around, trying to escape the grasp someone had on him, trying to escape the deep pain on his left arm, just below his shoulder.
‘Aaaaaaaaaaah!’
In his mind, Daron was yelling even louder in his mind that his baby body was on the outside. The system decided not to say much and let things happen for the time being since there was nothing she could do.
Soon, the pain began to subside from his arm, but instead began to spread slowly in different directions. Over the course of what felt like an eternity of pain, fainting from the pain, and being awoken by that very pain, it had spread all the way to his fingers on his left arm, completely wrapping his entire arm making Daron feel like chopping it off would be less painful, and had climbed up from his shoulder, across the left side of his chest, and moved up to his right cheek, finally stopping at his left eye.
Suddenly, all the pain instantly vanished as though nothing had occurred, and Daron’s crying also subsided. However, unable to see anything, Daron only felt like he was being moved around for a long time, before he finally stopped. Then, he fainted once more.
When he woke up, he still could not sense anything. Therefore, he just asked the system which had reincarnated along with him.
‘Sirious, play to me what happened’
[Of course]
The video was all dark again, with only the sounds of heartbeats, and some faint, incredibly faint yelling. However, as soon as he fully left and entered the world, the video instantly turned form audio to audio-visual. Sight, sound, and smell could be felt through the video to Daron and he relived his birth from a third person viewpoint. Except touch, which he had intentionally switched off since he remembered the insane pain he had felt.

As soon as he was brought into the world, he could see everything within 5 meters around him. He was in a closed off room, which seemed to be underground. There was a woman in front of him who had just fainted from exhaustion with a strange tattoo on her left arm. It was there, but almost as though it did not exist.
[A new form of energy has been detected. Do you wish to analyse it? This task will take up a large amount of processing power currently available to the back-up system, and can be completely in around 12 days.]
‘No. Use 5% of the total to slowly analyse it. This energy is not that important right now.’
[Yes, Master Daron.]
[Initiating analysis…]
While the analysis began, Daron had paused the video, and was just looking at the pattern. It covered a large portion of her left arm from her elbow all the way till her shoulder. The colour was a deep black, with random lines of varying lengths and thicknesses crisscrossing across the entire covered area.
However, it almost seemed as though it did not exist.
Daron’s attention was captured by the other people in the room other than himself and his mother. There were, a total of 3 burly looking men who had incredibly sharp eyes. They too had these tattoos on their arms, but the area they covered was not that large, just like a thin bangle around their biceps of their left arms.
What was more shocking was that even though they were wearing a few layers of clothing and armour, the tattoo was hovering above their layers of clothing, still visible to Daron and Sirious, in its ethereal state of existence and non-existence, glowing slightly in distinct colours of light blue, slightly darker blue, and a very, very faint red.
There was also another person. He seemed to be a much older male, with no armour around him, whole seemed to be the one in charge of delivering the child.
He too had a tattoo, but his was about half the length of his mother’s, and the colour was a vivid grey colour, much more saturated than the three men, but less than Daron’s mother’s.
Daron played the video once more, and what happened next was completely unexpected.
