I’m finally finished… it is done. My hatred was my driving force, their destruction was the only way it could end. They killed my family, my town, my everything. Looking into their terrified eyes as I slit their throat was pleasing. Them begging for their lives funny. Why would I give compassion when I have never been given any? Who do they think they are? Thinking that their lives are worth more than my friends, my family…

Hearing them scream, seeing them run, it made me feel great. The feeling of satisfaction was even more intense after killing their chief. I reveled in it for a long time before I woke up to the burning city. Death scattered all around, and fire blazing. I heard the wolves howl as they were coming to clean the city of meat.

Walking out of the city, I sunk into thought. What do I do now? Everything I wanted in life is over, I have nothing. I lost everything. What is there left for me, is there anything for me?

After I got over the last hill I headed to the stream to wash up. In the stream’s reflection I saw my mom, my dad, my little brother, my elder sister, and my friends behind me. I can’t take it anymore, I broke, tears started to fall. I lost control, my world is over, I’m over. I don’t want to live anymore and now that I have finished everything, I can be with them

I picked up my umbrella and flipped the switch. My blade popped out, I guess this will be my last kill. I chuckled to myself as I whispered, “Sorry mom, sorry dad, sorry Emilea, sorry Andrew.”

I pointed the blade at my throat, and quickly cut across it. Relief overcame me, for the first time since I was young I am at peace.
