Monoksbones
Reshimael looked down up the world and could not see the faith emanating from the people below in the way it should be. Small pieces of faith were flowing up to her part of the sky, coming from a few different sections of the world. Larger chunks of faith were making their way to other sections of the sky where the other gods resided.
She hissed at the thought of such a small number of people believing in her.
“Once I had been all they understood. I instilled fear within the masses.”
“Reshimael,” a nearby god was moving over towards her, his larger chunks of faith solidifying his cloud, “that is not the way of the world anymore. The people believe in themselves, and not the forces of nature. A god of Fire and Destruction is not a needed god anymore…”
“Shut up. Just Shut up. What would a god of steel know? You think steel will be eternal? That they will always worship you? You are not even half my age and you dare to speak to me like that?” Her rage was flaring up and it knew no bounds.
“Calm yourself, Reshi, I was just stating facts,” but he was slightly scared and he drifted away again.
I know what the masses need, to believe in me again, they need a catastrophe…
Reshimael was considering how she could gather more faith and her view shifted to a large city residing on the side of a mountain. Very little faith was coming from within the city. She focused her vision and could see that the mountain was a dormant volcano. She smiled… They would worship her whether they wanted to or not!
Grabbing her umbrella she unfurled it and slowly descended from the sky, taking a more corporeal form the closer she got to the ground. Gently her feet touched a rocky outcrop above the city, in full view of everyone.

She raised her hands high and slowly the magma within the mountain pulsed upwards. It surged and pushed against the top of the mountain. She dropped her hands and then dramatically raised both of them high, like conducting the crescendo of a symphony.
The mountain swelled and then the magma spewed forth from the top. Rocks caught fire as they flew through the air and struck buildings, setting them alight. Lava gurgled from the top and slowly but surely made its way down the side of the mountain, flattening and burning anything and everything in its path.
Faith started to flow in, as people cursed and believed in the Reshimael, the God of Fire and Destruction. It felt so good, it made her so happy. But it wasn’t enough. Standing on the side of the mountain, umbrella in hand, everything on fire around her, Reshimael prepared to make other places believe in her presence too.
