《Money Grubbing Demon Lord》Ch 2 Produce

The town of Rotenburg was slowly changing. People were happier and fed. If any of them got sick, all they had to do was earn some money by selling their food in another town and pay Lord Beltos. Everyone worked together to provide aid.
Wild animals stayed away thanks to the Goblins and Kobolds marking their territories. Work was progressing smoothly, as people all had some knowledge of every trade. Now, if they went to another town, they could work for a lot of money. Sometimes, that was what they did.
When there was a lull in work in Rotenburg, some people would travel abroad and earn money. They also secretly passed on information as rumors of a Demon Lord being a better leader than a human.
More people had come to join, apparently. The Kingdom was still ignoring them, possibly because the town of Rotenburg was so close to the enemy border. Maybe because they didn't care.
But when magical weapons were being traded, a shiver passed throughout all of the outskirts of the Holy Kingdom. But then came powerful medicine.
Not only that, the magic dust was used as a fertilizer, making the food they grew to have magical properties. Wanting to express her thanks, Villager C had wanted to make Lord Beltos some food.
"What a waste of time. Besides, I have never liked human food. It's why I import mine straight from the capital."
But the Goblins and Kobolds were fine with scraps and leftovers.
However, Villager C and everyone else had gotten a better hold on Beltos' character.
"We…just wanted to express our gratitude…we thought we could help you out in some other way…"
She appeared to be downcast, but her long brown bangs covered her sparkling eyes.
"Fine…hm. Congratulations."
She jumped but instantly smiled in glee. This was her true feelings, after all. She hadn't lied, but if Beltos were to see the humans try to do more than necessary, he still had to indulge them. If it didn't work out, however, the person would be scolded for wasting money.

But he would be lenient. The Demon had some heart, apparently.
"It is the best human food I have eaten. It still suc…no…hm…"
Lord Beltos stopped to ponder the taste. Somehow, it held a little bit of something that reminded him of a past memory.
"If I call for this, be ready to make it again. Get back to work."
"Yes, sir!"
Villager C happily went back to her house. It had been renovated since she used the achievements of succeeding in the creation of new products. She was looked at differently now, and the town was becoming prosperous, even without money.
Why had they wanted it so bad in the first place? They had food, they had shelter. What more could they want? Working for the Demon Lord seemed only natural at this point.
Three months had already passed, after all.
The main harvest was nearly upon them and Villager C had some special plans that would involve this new creation of hers.
The magic cookies. Instead of sugar, they used magic dust!
The magic power inside would help in recovery and also provide bursts of energy. She had to change up the recipe repeatedly, but she felt that this would be a good thing to start selling as the town's specialty.
Everyone agreed. However, it had a slight toxicity.
People became drunk if they ate enough. It was the process called Mana Overdose.
And it was going to make for a fun party next week.

The Brotherhood Archive:Crossroads(Revised)
All people great or small have a story - Patriarch Lord Theris'Heron Soletus, was on the verge of becoming a warden in the Dias Brotherhood until his father holds him back. Instead of proving his skill with culling monsters that plague the land, he is given an assignment different assignment. It isn't one that test doesn’t test his physical strength, but his strength of character. He is paired up with a shy and traumatized boy name Mien. Between Mien’s anxious behavior and the crime he committed, Soletus doesn’t know what to do or what to think. He wasn’t trained for the duty he is performing and has no idea if he is doing the right thing. However, when Soletus’s resolve to help starts to waiver, Mien does something unexpected and Soletus decides that the boy deserves a second chance not as an act of duty but as a friend. Hy'Ruh-Ha is a what I consider a chronicle fantasy. It is a fantasy drama coming of age story inspired by slice-of-life stories I've read and watched. It is heavy on the slice-of-life and does move slow. It is low-stakes fantasy. This particular story is romance free.(2 out the of 4 is re-uploaded under this title) And if you are someone who cares, the POV character is asexual. Crossroad(formally labeled as the intermission stories)- is a novella collection continuing the tale where Hy'ruh-Ha. The collection as followed: Wolf- After spending several months in the swamp post, Oeric'Sheldmartin returns to repair the chasm between him and his son, Soletus. However, a ghost from his past comes to haunt him and could ruin the life he's made completely. Note: Wolf is a bit of a character piece. POV character is Oeric. The Priest and the Priestess- A novella written in the POV of Mien and then Kiao after a series of unexpected events that change their lives. Mien's POV- Mien has spent the last couple of years working not only in the infirmary but training to become a combat chanter as part of his penitence. Then one day, a drug addled elf comes into infirmary and changes his perspective of a friend and puts his knowledge to the tests to figure out a mystery effecting children in town. *Spoiler warning* Kiao's POV- Kiao spent most of her time in the infirmary living the same daily secret filled life and until Mien changed it. Now she has to figure out her future in ways she never thought she would. I'm going for a Tues and Thurs day schedule for the re-upload. I may or may not stick in extra days.
