《Era: Dawn of the New Gods》Chapter 107: Battle Conclusion

Jade’s final push had a very simple format; he absorbed the energy from the plasma beams of the Elementals, the silver aura could absorb various forms of energy and boost users speed with the energy. With it the Elementals could not react in time with their gravity field combined and since Jade started teleporting his attacks the Mountain was finished.
The Phantom Reaper form of Ouki utilized the special Blue patterned black aura. This aura texture when activated made the aura incorporeal, the aura would seep into any matter it encountered and make the affected particles repel themselves, if the amount of aura wasn’t enough the atomic and molecular bonds of the matter might hold and the object wouldn’t split apart, but if it was enough the bonds would break and the object would be split. So it was very necessary for Jade to ensure that the aura maintained a very thin blade so that the entire black aura would be focused on a smaller area when he slashed with the scythe.
The Phantom Reaper form might seem unstoppable because it could technically cut anything if given enough energy but it had a fatal weakness. If the Blue patterned black aura was exposed to a region of relatively dense energy it would disperse like gas regardless of the user’s control, only if the user provided it a ludicrous amount of energy compared to the energy density it is submerged in would it hold strong.
But sadly the Mountain didn’t know this, so it lost core after core even though it could have saved itself by simply compressing its energy zone. This is why having good understanding of one’s enemy while the enemy has a bad understanding of you is very crucial to clinching victory, a factor Jade did not overlook when he started killing creatures that were Rank 7 and above. This was the way a true hunter fought.

Jade’s maximum teleportation distance was 23 kilometers but he had limited it to about two kilometers to throw off the Mountain’s strategies. When the Mountain’s remaining core reached a distance of about 10 kilometers from Jade underground, it began to retaliate.
The Elemental had truly underestimated Jade by flying up to meet him, it was an earth Elemental so it was strongest underground but considering Jade’s stupidly low Rank and, what it considered, pathetic abilities, it didn’t see it fit to try hard. But for it, this was the first time the IP and Rank system it trusted so much had failed it so it was hard to adapt on the spot.
But now that it was literally and metaphorically in its element, it had no fear. If it couldn’t kill Jade it could run away, although doing that greatly betrayed its instincts it was not willing to die for them.
The spawn that were still above the ground rained plasma shots on Jade and the ground heated up as the Mountain prepared to fire its own shots at the extremely annoying ‘Rank 2 Fried Chicken’.
Jade swung his scythe and teleported the blade, aiming at the last core of the Mountain. The strike hit as the plasma shots of the spawns were teleported away. His IP said ‘You have killed Rank 11 Sentient Technology Mountain’ ‘Congratulations! You are now Rank 11. You can select an additional privilege’.
The spawns lost their life immediately and dropped to the ground lifelessly. Jade smiled as he thought ‘Although I had to damage the core of the Rank 11 there is still one core that it undamaged, the one that was infected with golden aura. There is hope that I might be able to mend the other cores from studying it. The elementals are really special and with their cores my technology will reach new heights, I just hope there is another Elemental horde out there’

Jade asked his IP ‘So I can get an additional privilege now, right?’ His IP responded ‘Yes, the only option is Hunter’s Perception. Do you wish to get it?’ Jade replied ‘Yes’.
A few seconds passed before the IP said ‘Done, would you like to see the details of the monsters that are within a 110 mile radius of you?’ Jade said ‘No, I’ll do that later’.
After the hunt Jade went back to a room in his portal storage where he had relocated his laboratory to and studied the cores of the Elementals for one month until he was free to meet with Mira.

The Voice of the World
Jason Elric used to be an ordinary college student living in the heart of San Francisco. He had a part time job, he played online games with friends he got along moderately well with, and he earned reasonably good grades. The worst he really had to worry about in life was turning in his coursework on time and not being late to class. Now, though? Now fighting for his life and running from a horde of giant frogs that want to make him their next meal is just another Tuesday. Thanks to a summoning ritual gone terribly right, Jason has found himself trapped in a world eerily similar to the role playing games games he used to play for fun. Unfortunately for the now ex-college student, everything happening around him is terrifyingly real and if he wants to survive, he’ll have to figure out how to exploit the system for his benefit before it’s too late. The Voice of the World is the first part of what is planned to be a multi-book, Isekai LitRPG story with crafting elements, set in the fantasy world known as Verdania. This is my first time posting online for public consumption, so bear with me as I work to find a style that people like. While I may occasionally write scenes that may deal with heavy concepts, expect this story to be primarily light hearted high fantasy. There will be a lot of common fantasy tropes involved, as this story got its start as a simple practice exercise, rather than any plan to actually post it. However, it’s grown on me, so I felt it’s worth sharing after all. Thus, if you’re looking for more serious/original/unusual stories, you might want to look elsewhere. For the rest of you, feel free to leave suggestions, as well as to point out grammar and spelling mistakes; I’ll do my best to make edits to correct them. I do my own editing currently, and it’s easy to miss things when you know what’s supposed to be there, so such call outs are highly encouraged. Content TLDR: No harems, probably no romance (unless it makes sense for the story later on) (it did, eventually), definitely no sex (keeping this PG-13 or close to it), limited profanity. Does/Will contain mixes of magic and technology (think Warhammer, Final Fantasy); copious amounts of blue tables; race, gender, and sexual equality concepts; crafting sequences; and (slightly, but not overbearingly) strong protagonists. If you don’t like these things, go elsewhere instead of downvoting people for content instead of writing quality. Update Time currently varies, due to personal injury, but the goal is 1/week on Wednesdays, with a possible smaller chapter on weekends if time/health permits.

But unrest is brewing under the surface of Sombria, and the Council's tenuous hold may be on the verge of collapsing. All Alara ever wanted was to become a soldier, fighting to protect Sombria from the bruya rebels that threaten its borders with their chaotic magic and lawlessness. When her abilities are revealed, she finds herself at the center of a world she grew up despising, where magic is suppressed under the illusion of control. And her only means of escape may lie in trusting those she grew up doubting most. When Alara is given one final chance to prove she's worthy of being called a Mage of Sombria, the key to her success may lie within the untrusting Quenti. And Quenti doesn't plan on making things easy. Though as their two lives come crashing together, trusting each other may be the only choice they have to survive what's coming. -- COMMENT AND FOLLOW! 📕 This story is completely written, but these postings on Royal Road double as a beta run, so please feel free to point out typos or inconsistencies. 📖 Content Guidelines: Mild language, PG-13-level violence

I Call It Love (Yandere Boys X Reader)
(Part 1 of 3)【EDITING TO MAKE SENSE】**important** I know this story is a favorite of mine, and I want to keep it true to what past me wanted it to be... But as I re-read this I keep thinking I could've made it better, or it could've been done differently. So I've decided to try and edit/fix it up to make it seem... Better? I hope no one gets mad, and I'll do my absolute best to keep it similar to what it used to be, just know if you are revisiting this story there may be some differences, and past comments could be confusing. Thank for understanding, and I promise that I will try to keep it as similar as possible. **important**Potential Fixes: •Adding time skips such as weeks in between or specific time passsings to make the story seem a little more realistic, and not rushed•Adding more things to flashbacks, maybe adding a new flashbacks but only 1 or 2...•GRAMMAR AND TYPOS •SOME dialouge, if it doesn't sit right with me•Anything that doesn't fit or doesn't match the storycover by: rivila_cher"AH!" I gasped as I began hyperventilating in my new bed. For a second I thought I was at home, back in my own bed where my mom would rush into my room to make sure I'm ok.
