He looks a bit taken back for a few minutes but swiftly recover.

"How did you know?"

Instead of answering his question I pulled out my phone, unlocked it and scrolled through some pictures till I reached the autopsy picture and I handed it to him. His eyes scanned the screen and suddenly drew a sharp breath.

"The only person who has all dad's files are Aunt Jane.. " He trailed off. Then he winced sharply, "Oh.. Yikes you found out the hard way." He handed me back my phone. I rolled my eyes. "You think?" I folded my arms. "So what's actually going on? Does mom know about this?" sharply

He nodded seriously. "Yes. She does. As a matter of fact the accident was staged."

My mouth dropped open in surprise. "Dad's the boss of an International Agency Federation." He continues. "This agency works alongside the Government on classified projects and missions." He stopped to take a breath. I sat in his chair dumbfounded. I couldn't believe what was actually being said to me.

"So, why did he left us for 14 years? Why was his accident staged?" I questioned with confusion.

"I was just getting to that." He said.

"His cases started getting dangerous, becoming enemies with some of the greatest minds behind the scenes. They frequently tried to seek him out, which led to mom and dad getting a divorce and going separate ways. You and Shawn are in the custody of Mom and I myself in the hands of Dad because I work for him." I silently drank in the new information. I absolutely have NO IDEA what to think.

Then a thought came to me. "So the night I saw you drove off with that other dude, you were.. Working with him?" He nodded. "Yes. I'm sorry you found out like this." He said sheepishly. "We were actually planning to tell you for your 18th birthday." I rolled my eyes. "So if he's alive and all is well then where is he at now?"

He grabbed his car keys and got up. Spinning it around his finger said.

"Care to find out?" He grinned.
